SAFEST WAY TO FLASH YOUR ROM IS THROUGH STORAGE CARD METHOD ALSO WITH USPL:
Copy BLACIMG.NBH into the root dir of your Storage Card.
Be sure to have at least 30% of charge.
Turn off your device by using the Power Button.
Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
Be sure that Device is connected to PC first before inputting the Storage card
Input Storage card when you see USB displaying on screen.
Now run USPL.
If all instruction is followed device will start upgrading through Storage Card.
Always ensure that you run USPL before flashing any rom when using USPL method.
ALTERNATIVE WAY OF FLASHING YOUR ROM WITH RUU.exe
Extract Rom download Folder.
Be sure to have at least 50% of charge.
Turn off your device by using the Power Button
Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
Connect your device to PC
Run BlackStoneCustomRuu.exe and follow the screen instructions.
TESTING THE ROM FOR PERFORMANCE
For users who has issues with the Rom, just try this, I have been using the rom for awhile and havent some of these issues, I will try and collect the bug reports unless someone else ca ndo for me.
Recommendations to trying the Rom.
Flash the rom
Hard reset/clear storage
DO NOT INSTALL ANY 3RD PARTY APPS UNTIL TRYING THE ROM FIRST, This is due to anumber of reasons new files drivers etc.
I dont use 3rd part apps or messed with tweaking ,as my rom is fully tweaked as how i use it daily.
After testing the rom and ur happy, INSTALL ONE APP at a time and use it, soft reset and try the device to see if anything strange or any bug as arise.
do this for other apps until u find ur source of the bug

FAQ: Unable to watch Flash Movies in Opera Browser
Solution: Go to my Website and download the Opera Flash support cab in the HD ADD ON CABS Folder. Please read and follow instructions on how to install successful.
FAQ: Unable to choose all the official ringtones, alarm tones, album samples.
Solution: Download all the cabs here at my site at duttythroy.net and look in the HD ADD ON CABS Folder.
FAQ: I have no Jetcet Print, RSS hub, Worldcard Mobile and Google Maps installed.
Solution: Download all the cabs here at my site at duttythroy.net and look in the HD ADD ON CABS Folder.
FAQ: I am having poor signal reception, battery or bad GPS signal.
Solution: You can flash standalone HD Radio which are extracted from Official ROMs and test to see which ones work better for you. Radio Upgrades can be downloaded from my Site.
FAQ: I want to disable Threaded SMS.
Solution: Use Text Messaging application in settings to disable and soft reset.
FAQ: I cannot soft reset my Touch HD.
Solution: You can either use the Reset Manager in my ROMs found in applications folder or you can do it manually by removing the battery cover and use stylus to insert in the Reset hole.
FAQ: I Hard Reset my Touch HD.
Solution: With the device turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then briefly press the POWER button.
Continue pressing the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons until you see this message on the screen:
Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
FAQ: I want to disable screen turning off during calls.
Solution: Install the Dutty’s disable sleep in call cab located in my HD ADD ON CABS
FOLDER.
FAQ: I want to keep updated with newer version of Opera.
Solution: I will update Opera with a single Cab which will just upgrade to the new version which will also be found on my site.
FAQ: How to do a Rom Upgrade with SD Card..
Solution:
1.Copy BLACIMG.NBH into the root dir of your Storage Card.
2. Be sure to have at least 30% of charge.
3. Turn off your device by using the Power Button
4. Go to bootloader mode. Push and hold Vol Down + press Power button.
5. As soon as presented the message, push Power button to start flashing or Volume Down button to cancel.
6. The whole procedure will take about 3 minutes. After you finish and see the relative message, soft reset your device, you are ready.
FAQ: What are CVSD and MSVC.
Solution: CVSD is Cyberon Voice Speed Dial which is mostly the default voice application in most shipped ROMs. MSVC is Microsoft Voice Command which is an advance voice application from MS.

Extract to computer and copy files to device
copy *.dll in \Windows using Total Commander or similar
install hologram
it should be slow because of d3d drivers from htc (which doesn't activated 3d acceleration)
install ati drivers
test it again (no need to reboot )
now it's faster

I’d like to ask you if there is any solution how to set as default - the SIP input to different keyboard (Resco, SPB, ...) after soft reset, permanently.
Utilities as the SKTools or the SIPChange don’t work – after reset, the system input “Keyboard” is back again and I must revert to Resco/SPB manually.
Would it be possible to unlock keyboard registry in your ROM version?
On HTC Diamond it was not problem but on the HD it is.
Users with different languages would appreciate it.

Now seriously, I think that it’s good challenge for both/all .
This problem might be a good example of solution for what we use and like these custom ROMs!

Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
Be sure that Device is connected to PC first before inputting the Storage card
Input Storage card when you see USB displaying on screen.
Now run USPL.
If all instruction is followed device will start upgrading through Storage Card.
Always ensure that you run USPL before flashing any rom when using USPL method.
ALTERNATIVE WAY OF FLASHING YOUR ROM WITH RUU.exe
Extract Rom download Folder.
Be sure to have at least 50% of charge.
Turn off your device by using the Power Button
Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
Connect your device to PC
Run BlackStoneCustomRuu.exe and follow the screen instructions.
TESTING THE ROM FOR PERFORMANCE
For users who has issues with the Rom, just try this, I have been using the rom for awhile and havent some of these issues, I will try and collect the bug reports unless someone else ca ndo for me.
Recommendations to trying the Rom.
Flash the rom
Hard reset/clear storage
DO NOT INSTALL ANY 3RD PARTY APPS UNTIL TRYING THE ROM FIRST, This is due to anumber of reasons new files drivers etc.
I dont use 3rd part apps or messed with tweaking ,as my rom is fully tweaked as how i use it daily.
After testing the rom and ur happy, INSTALL ONE APP at a time and use it, soft reset and try the device to see if anything strange or any bug as arise.
do this for other apps until u find ur source of the bug

Before you download, read this:
Update to my roms and hard-spl at your own risk, I'm not responsible for any damage to your X1.
Dont start yelling about the rom is useless (Or similar) just because a feature you use is not working. That is to me really demoralising to read, and it most certainly dont encourage me to respond to your issues.
Dont complaint about why I remove this or that. Or why I dont add this or that.

I really spend alot of time working on this. Donations is not required, but is much appreciated.
I do NOT respond to bugreporting on pm or via email/msn, ask in the thread. If someone has time, knowlege and patience, they might help you
My tips on how to flash a custom rom:
Hard-SPL is needed if you wanna flash custom roms - Info on Hard-SPL here
Do not let battery be below 50%
Keep the device on a secure location (so that it wont fall and loose connection to your pc during flash)
Enter bootloader (rainbowscreen) pressing power button and volume down simultaneously (hold the buttons untill you enter bootloader)
Connect to pc (activesync) Run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow onscreen instructions
Alternative Flash via micro-sd method:
Make sure your x1 is hard-spl first
Make sure your micro-sd is formatted w/ fat-32
Rename the image file (normally "ruu_signed.nbh") to Kovsimg.nbh, copy that to the root of your X1's sd-card
Bring x1 to boot-loader mode by turning off the x1 completely. Hold the "volume down" button on the right, and hold the power on button until you see the tri-color screen.
Then follow the on-screen instruction
Please read here to get the best xperience with my roms:
Do a Hard-reset after flashing is done
Wait with installing any apps/progs until you have tested the performance and stability of the rom.
Tweaks and regedits are allready set to max up the performance, if you install tweaking cabs or other performance cabs, they might not work well with this rom, and can ruin the performance of the rom.
Before reporting bugs, try think before you post; is it related to something you have altered?
Missing programs is not a bug. I do not wish to have comments on why this and that are missing. Get a cab..

Good to know about the rom:
There is no "new startmenu" the rom uses wm6.5 menu
The programs tab is not included (not supported in this manila v.)
There is a "grey bug" in some ereas due to use of standard .tsk file (theme) this can be altered by using a wm6.5 theme. New themes for 6.5 can be found in various ereas of XDA
There is a new feature to install cabs in initial setup. How to further down on this post
How to use the Cab Autoinstall:
Create a new folder at the root of your SD-card called Autoinstall.
Put your cabs into that folder (the cabs must be set to read only)
All cabs put in this folder will automaticly be installed, faster then usual UC
No need for any reg/setup

Is the program-tab in TF3D present? Tried a Winmo 6.5-rom and wasn't too fond of the startmenu since it had no easy way of changing the position of the programs. Bet there's some cab though
Will the PIM Backup-program included in 10.4 work with this one? Figured there might be problems due to windows mobile 6.5...

sort of...i think you can get the number unlock if left for one minute...but no normal keylock from what i know

To change language just go to regional setting and change it from russia.
But I thought this was a WWE ROM. Why would changing the Regional settings change the language??? I could be wrong... but I thoght regional settings are the for chaning the format of how the Time and currency display on ROM.

Hey Tom, Congrats on this ROM release. This is the first time I am flashing a ROM cooked by you. It means that we have not owned a similar deivce until now. If we did and if you released a ROM, I would have used it for that device. In short, I am a Flash-aholic.
Now about the ROM: I have flashed the Tom Rhodium Manila 2.5 Build 23016 Thanks for this Wonderful ROM. This is just PERFECT. I have not experienced any bugs of difficulties in accessing anything until now.
Exchange 2007 synch - Flawless.
My Location - Works (only on Edge).
YouTube - Perfect
FM Radio - No Issues there as well.
Lock Screen - The delays are gone in this build while unlocking.
Camera - No problem (except for the lay out of the pics in Potr and Landscape are in the same orientation)
Battery Life - Pretty good (probably a bit too ealry to tell).
Browser Tab in TF3D - Loved the default Opera for the browser and Bookmarks.
Opera - Really like the new interface of the 9.7 version.
Alerts - SMS / Email alerts work fine even in sleep mode.
Start Menu - Really liked the 4 rows for the Icons
Over all, very fast, stable and smooth ROM. I think this can be used for daily use.
AWESOME Job and thanks for sharing this with us.
EDIT: The RANDOM RESETS ARE BECOMING A BIG ISSUE. I AM GOING BACK TO ANOTHER ROM UNTIL THERE IS A FIX FOR THIS RESET ISSUE.

Random restarts...
Hey Tom... Everything works pretty well except I am having random restarts of the device.
The first time the device restarted when I initiated the Camera.
The second time when I launched the Opera and just now, it restarted when I went into the settings tab and launched the Comm manager.
Mind you, after the restart when I launch the Camera, Opera or the Comm manager, it does not restart every time... they work fine as they are suppose to.
I guess its the Manila thats making the device reset. Again.. I am not sure about that.. please look into this.
Is anyone else experiencing this.
And yeah... another thing... In the Opera.. the Home page does not stick. I use to have this issue on the PIE with other ROMs.. but Opera is was fine.
More feed back tomorrow.. got to catch some sleep.

SAFEST WAY TO FLASH YOUR ROM IS THROUGH STORAGE CARD METHOD:
* Copy BLACIMG.NBH into the root dir of your Storage Card.
* Be sure to have at least 30% of charge.
* Turn off your device by using the Power Button.
* Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
* After that your device with have a white screen with text " Press to power button for continue upgrade or Press Volume down button for cancel upgrade , select press to power button and it will start upgrade Rom.
ALTERNATIVE WAY OF FLASHING YOUR ROM WITH RUU.exe
* Extract Rom download Folder.
* Be sure to have at least 50% of charge.
* Turn off your device by using the Power Button
* Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
* Connect your device to PC
* Run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow the screen instructions.
TO AVOID MANILA MUSIC PLAYER TO SKIP:
*After Flashing go to Manila Music Tab and Let it there For
1-2 minutes so AudioManager can refresh/read your SDCard

Sounds cool I'd like to test it. I tested like almost every ROM series that are 'popular' for Blackstone, like Miri, PhamQuang, Dutty, XannyTech, Mikenificent (NLD), etc.
i noticed that the cpu usage of the phone was very high. withouth doing someting it used 73%. the graphics are realy nice and fast. footprints was a little bit slow. i didnt find any bug, but i dindt test it alot.

bcoz ive set PP to 0, the cpu handles itself
