This is an HTC Touch Pro 2 ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of this thread.
I always build my ROMs with three main goals.
Eye candy.
Speed!
Smoothness, consistency and good esthetics.
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set.
You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as I always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization).
I usually make 3 versions of the ROM. If you don't see one in the download directory, it either means I haven't uploaded it OR I'm not making one for the current release yet.
Here are the different versions and what they mean.
"Standard" includes the new TF3D2 (Rhodium Manila) along with the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 today plugin (Titanium)
"StandardM2.5" includes the new TF3D2.5 (Leo Manila) which is in its VERY early stages of development. I provide this ROM solely as a toy and not something I actively support.
"StandardM2.6" includes the new TF3D2.6 (Hero Manila) which is in its VERY VERY VERY early stages of development. I provide this ROM solely as a toy and not something I actively support. Lots of things don't work in it...
"Titanium" only includes the Titanium today plugin. No Manila in this version.

I didn't plan on making a 6.5 ROM because all the graphics are off and there was just too many bugs for me to release it. Well that being said i decided to release this one because it was pretty stable and snappy. I really liked the new location of the start menu. I hope everyone enjoys this build.
On a side note for all the upcoming cooks. My ROMs are not locked and WILL NEVER be locked. You are completely welcome to decompressing it and taking whatever you need.

It turns out that the solitare game just works like that now. You don't drag the cards u just select the card and then select where you want it to go. I'm fixing the xtrakt game right now. For some reason it doesn't work all the time but it works most of the time. Not quite sure why.

Hey Bxsteez... Congrats on this release. I have a quick Q. Is it possible to have Favorite Calling option in Titanium?? The only reason I go for the Manila ROM is because of the option for Quick Dial numbers available.

I present to you the Shadowline Series. The roms I make are made to be cutting edge, using the latest in Windows Mobile and HTC with a mix of my own taste in graphics, tweaks, and fixes.
Because the purpose of this rom is to be cutting edge, not everything will always work as intended at all times, and that is where you come in at. I need all of you to test, and report back on what needs fixing, tweaking, or even suggestions for newer versions.
This rom, can not, and will never brick your device, unless you do not read the instructions or do something that you aren't supposed to do.
The latest HardSPL is always recommended as that is what the rom will always be based on.
If I do not implement a feature or a request, It is because it will not work, will break the intended design, or it will be worked in at a future time. But I do encourage feedback on everything as you are the ones using it, you should be the ones that have a say in it.
I personally do not own any version of the Rhodium/Touch Pro 2, so all testing will be done by you. So please do report bugs you may get!

Explanation of WiFi tweak:
When WiFi is enabled in Comm Manager, and you have already previously connected to a wireless point, your Windows Phone when a Data connection is needed will automatically turn on WiFi, and connect to the nearest preset access point. If no access point is nearby that has been set up, your Windows Phone will automatically turn WiFi off again, and connect to your local Wireless Service 3G or GPRS network. While connected to WiFi using this method, if the connection is no longer needed, or the phone is put into standby it will automatically turn WiFi off to preserve battery.

Hello everyone, This is the first release in the new Rhodium version of my rom series.
I do not personally have a Touch Pro 2/Rhodium so I can not test this myself. So please let me know what works, what doesn't work, and what just doesn't seem right.

same here i am having that error on my screen for 5 min i reset the PDA hope it will boot up.... can boot the pda but the error still on the screen...
Shadowline: Did you remove copilot from the ConfigAP file as well while cooking?
I ran into this yesterday as well. I haven't loaded your ROM though, but I guess it's the same issue.
You need to change the file:
<Your Kitchen Dir>/OEM/Rhodium/0409/ConfigAP.txt
And remove the copilot line. Then the ROM will boot up fine.
i cant launch the touch flow 3D so i cant go to the settings... cant stop the error from the task...
i reloaded the rom and will try one more time otherwise i have to remove this from my phone

This looks really promising, ive always wanted a rom with manila 2.5 on a newer windows 6.5.1 build. Ive tried some others before, but they always had some issues that i couldnt get over, im really picky
Just got a quick question for people that have tried this rom:
When rotating the screen in the photos tab of manila, is the bottom bar still stuck to the right side of the screen, ie does the bottom bar stay in portrait mode while manila moves to landscape?
Small irk, i know, but its tiny things like that that bother me, although i know that this has nothing to do with the cooking of the rom, rather than the windows build itself.
I have started downloading it before reading about the copilot bug, i noticed that the file size is >180 MB, which is strange to me, I usaed to dowbload rhodium ROMs in the range of 100-150 MB only. Does it make any difference for you?
I flashed this ROM on my Rhodium (RHOD100). Do a hard-reset. Then it boots. During configuration it shows square window (occupies about 30% of screen and is centered) with "\WINDOWS\copilot.wm6ppc.ca... is not found". This window has no Ok nor Close button. After "ca..." it continues, but display doesn't respond on touch and also on any button excluding the reset one, so I can't scroll the text, go back or to Today screen. It stops on "Tap here to launch HTC Sense" on purple background under error message I've tried to describe. No other action.
After restart it does "first use prepare" again. It never completes this operations and never get to regular Today (Sense) screen.
The screen during first use preparing is very nice! But not enough to be the only use of Rhodium

Hi, it still has the copilot error at startup
I do not know if I have the old or the new version,
(I was download/installing just before or after uploading the new version),
but I get the error too.
I have downloaded the copilot.wm6ppc.cab from the internet en placed it on my storage card and I'm trying to copy that to my Windows folder.
I'll keep you informed.

Q: I am a T-Mobile US user and I can not send MMS, what can I do? - NEW
A: Follow these steps:
Go to Start - Settings - Connections - Connections
Go to the right tab, click on Select Networks
In the drop down menu (first one), select T-Mobile MMS, and then Edit or whatever the button is below.
Click Edit again, leave the network name as is, and then change the access point name to: wap.voicestream.com
Finish that, and then in that drop down menu from step 3 or whatever, reselect T-Mobile Data. Then close out, and send MMS's.

Open youtube, click the cog in top right corner, click video quality and choose fast download, then reboot and it should work. we're working on a fix for this...For Att Users Use the Remove Proxy cab posted then reboot

apparently you didn't need another post. Looking forward to your rom. Currently running 23071 from b16b which certainly is having relations with you. Btw how is s2u performing on your rom. I had serious problems with it with the last builds, missed many calls due to the fact that s2u and the default answer button where both shown and neither worked. With csdevctrl I now have another autolocker.
And now...we wait for your upload to finish.

yep, i will move onto 2.5 soon...but i chose 2.1 because it is most compatible and stable.. at least for a first release on tp2

COM5 uses a new form of threaded email which is not compatible with Exchange - disable email in Exchange sync for now (thanks to ypsmav for the info).

I've also attached a cab file with a couple of reg values that clear the task and softkey bar .png images. If you change WM 6.5.x theme (Settings>Today>Slect a theme) you can run my cab and soft reset to get transparent bars back. This will also work for WM 6.5 roms too

This rom seems to be fully working Updated to Office 2010 final and Opera 10 final. Based on Balaji's excellent v6 kitchen (thanks Balaji!), added HTC volume control and HTC Task manager. Thanks for that. I believe I uploaded the wrong one (I got the settings link back after discovering my edit to make it point to WM settings instead of manila broke the link) so I should be able to restore that in the next build. This is related to the connection settings issue, and will probably be a deal breaker for most people - have to get a fixed version up tomorrow I think!
As for modifications I'm not sure what to include as I personally prefer the MaxTTM and cab method of modifying - I change my themeing on an almost daily basis and if it's cooked in you can't remove it, only cover it up.

No, only Leo based roms have those tabs. Balaji has kindly let me have his kitchen, which is Leo 2.10 based, as his HD has sadly died I hope to get a 21895 build version based on his superb rom out quickly, though I personally find those tabs cause just a bit too much slowdown.
Well, after 1 hour testing, result is: WLAN not working, Bluetooth not working, But otherwise ROM looks nice almost like STOCK ROM, u should incude Footprints in next release .

The rhodium 2.07 rom was leaked about a month ago, yesterdays release is the official version of that leaked rom. The packages are identical, so there's nothing new.

Leo rom uses manila from the Leo phone (HD2) and Rhodium uses manila taken from the Rhodium device (Touch Pro 2). HD2 has snapdragon processor, TP2 has same processor as our HD's. So Leo manila includes documents, ereader and footprints tabs which cause some slowdown while Rhodium manila is optimised to run on a device without a snapdragon processor. The differences are mentioned in the rom notes sections in post #1 and #2, as is the manila build number at the top of each post.
In terms of what's suitable: the rom forum is full of Leo 2.10 based roms as this has more features and is slightly newer than Rhodium 2.07. However I wanted to cook a Rhodium rom as I find it noticeably faster - I never intended to make a Leo 2.10 based rom but Balaji gave me all the files in his kitchen so it was very easy to make a rom based on his work.

This may not be the most accurate memory check as I'm currently using MaxSense on my phone (I'm 1 of Maxycy's beta testers and skinners).
Anyway memory usage after reset (with MaxSense running):

In Use 99.32
Free 87.59

Hi millski, please can you tell me, do you intend to update your Rhodium rom with Office 2010 and Opera 10 final?
If so, can you give a time estimate please?

I'd like to share with you the ROM that I cooked for my own use, but maybe you will like it too
My general objective was to create a ROM based on the latest available stock build, ported to WM 6.5.5 and implement minimal changes to optimize the look, performance and reliability of the ROM.
What's new:

The main advantages of the ROM are:
My ROMs are tested before uploading, I also use the ROM every day on my Rhodium
Each resource that I tweaked was manually edited to ensure maximum compatibility with the ROM, avoid memory leaks or missing resources
I do verifying CRC of changed files in every new WM build to ensure that modified resources to be replaced were not changed since the last build
The ROM is not overcooked with number of apps cooked in

based on the latest EUR stock ROM (RUU_Rhodium_S2_HTC_Europe_2.07.401.1)
contains Manila 2.5 version 2.5.20121225
contains Cookie HomeTab version 1.7.1
does not contain the radio, tested with 4.49.25.91
tweaked for optimum performance (file system, GPS, manila)

okay after using it for a day the ROM has been working great its really responsive it doesnt feel slow. The only thing that i think could be improve is the icons in the start menu i think if they are organized it will give the ROM a more proffessional look to it but thats not a probleam to me i just rearranged everything and staying on the ROM. thanks for your hard work!

About changing the time format, simply go to the Settings tab then click Menu - All settings which will bring you to the classic control panel. Once you are there, please choose System and Regional settings, select Time and choose the time style as "H:mm:ss". This will change the clock from 24 to 12 hour mode.

Im loving the battery life on this rom.
This one looks very interesting. Sense 2.5 en the latest finger friendly WM interface. I'm now using Energy but it's time for a change.
IMO you should cook in two programs:
CookieHometab 1.7 (If this is cooked in, I'll flash my phone with this ROM absolutely!!!)
PIMbackup (making the steps from one ROM to another, a lot easier)
These aren't that of much demands are they

Hi TyKH,
I've cooked the ROM with CHT 1.7.0 and preliminary tested it. Seems to be ok but I'd like to perform a few additional tests to check it and optimize memory usage.
I expect to release the updated ROM tonight.

Hi Guys,
just to let you know that version with Cookie HomeTab 1.7.0 has passed my internal testing and is available for download!
Cookie HomeTab memory usage and performance were optimized by cooking into the ROM in the special way. Comparing to the cab version I got definitely more free RAM and improved speed of the home tab.
Hope you enjoy the changes.
PIM backup will be released on the next version (probably tomorrow, if nothing else pops up).

i do not have any problem with alignment i have problem only problem with incoming call in landscape..
do not post new version for only pim backup waiting until the end of the week as always so you have to update the build and pim backup... do not have new rom every 1 day

Sharepoint on the 1.03 version doesn't seem to want to launch. All other office programs work fine.
