This is an HTC Touch Pro 2 ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of this thread.
I always build my ROMs with three main goals.
Eye candy.
Speed!
Smoothness, consistency and good esthetics.
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set.
You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as I always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization).
I usually make 3 versions of the ROM. If you don't see one in the download directory, it either means I haven't uploaded it OR I'm not making one for the current release yet.
Here are the different versions and what they mean.
"Standard" includes the new TF3D2 (Rhodium Manila) along with the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 today plugin (Titanium)
"StandardM2.5" includes the new TF3D2.5 (Leo Manila) which is in its VERY early stages of development. I provide this ROM solely as a toy and not something I actively support.
"StandardM2.6" includes the new TF3D2.6 (Hero Manila) which is in its VERY VERY VERY early stages of development. I provide this ROM solely as a toy and not something I actively support. Lots of things don't work in it...
"Titanium" only includes the Titanium today plugin. No Manila in this version.

Notes:
It's recommended to change your timezone manually.
The HTC Lockscreen seems to only start working the second time you lock the device.

- In action screen BT on/off only turns bluetooth OFF for now...

I'm using it now and I hate the scrolling with a passion.. Can't wait to get back to WinMo 6.5's native scrolling.

Q: I am a T-Mobile US user and I can not send MMS, what can I do? - NEW
A: Follow these steps:
Go to Start - Settings - Connections - Connections
Go to the right tab, click on Select Networks
In the drop down menu (first one), select T-Mobile MMS, and then Edit or whatever the button is below.
Click Edit again, leave the network name as is, and then change the access point name to: wap.voicestream.com
Finish that, and then in that drop down menu from step 3 or whatever, reselect T-Mobile Data. Then close out, and send MMS's.
Youtube now working right for you,
Open youtube, click the cog in top right corner, click video quality and choose fast download, then reboot and it should work. we're working on a fix for this...For Att Users Use the Remove Proxy cab posted then reboot

apparently you didn't need another post. Looking forward to your rom. Currently running 23071 from b16b which certainly is having relations with you. Btw how is s2u performing on your rom. I had serious problems with it with the last builds, missed many calls due to the fact that s2u and the default answer button where both shown and neither worked. With csdevctrl I now have another autolocker.
And now...we wait for your upload to finish.

yep, i will move onto 2.5 soon...but i chose 2.1 because it is most compatible and stable.. at least for a first release on tp2

is there any way to remove the clock from the taskbar in these 6.5 builds

The first good-looking 6.5 ROM for HD... great!
Some questions:
1) in 1 screenshot (in the upper bar you can see "Notes") the contextual menu looks like HTC-enlarged one. It's different from the default good looking and finger friendly COM3 contextual menu. Why there is it? It has also the shadowing offset wrong: there are some pixels under the top bar not shadowed. I think it's because of the new look of COM3 (with thinner top bar and larger bottom bar).
2) for the same reason of point 1: the HTC taskmanger works well?
3) the right side scrolling bar looks well or it is stretched to fit WVGA instead of VGA (a lot of COM3 ROM come from VGA device and some items, menus, setting pages and side bar are stretched and look very ugly).

There is no way of removing the top bar clock known to me.
The HTC Task Manager is not included. It's very cumbersome to access it. Plus there isn't really a need for one. From what I read WM 6.5 will close hidden apps by itself once it needs free memory.

just a small question would you be able to make a ROM with this WM as well as the Leo 2.1 manila. I like the way you setup you roms and as they are nice and clean and would appreciate this configuration as I know others would. Thank you for any consideration.

Some weeks ago, when I tried my first COM3 ROM, I found a new fullscreen and good working volume skin (like HTC one). It could work also with your ROM. SetVolume 0.7.0: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395695
Have you tried e-Natives Showcase? It's a good taskmanager, lightweight and works very well with COM3 ROM (fullscreen, tap and hold on start menu to activate and tap and hold on close button to close and app). http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=530564
Another question: do the 4 bottom buttons (call, home, back, ...) work?

Ok, so I'll be the first to give feedback,
1) Manual Connection setup, not automatic
2) No Youtube working
3) Windows Live not working
4) Number notifications on the mail tab for each mailbox seems to be partially behind each mailbox tab
5) Problems with the dialer, got into options, but only had access to network and sounds, showed all ringtones a corrupt. Then tried to open options again, won't open, can access other things from menu, just not options.
Now on to the good, the speed is great and the memory is great first time I have had more then 70mb free in Sense 2.5 and I have tried several but so far this one is fast.
These are just my first few minutes observations

2. neither for me but i try this... i change registry
[HKLM/Software/HTC/YouTube/enableMDP]
to 1 then soft reset
then go again and make it 0 again then working..
3. after 2 (Trick of reg) start working windows live and messenger..
4.i do not set mail account i check it if i can or i change the package with an other one..
5. for all options go to settings tab tap menu and then all settings
i have some problem with ringtone too but after of some reset fixed.. i will checked more tomorow..

I just flashed your ROM now, i did a soft reset after the initial completion. I ran the connection setup, t mo key fix and tp2 battery driver.
I can't get windows live mail account to complete. I'm trying the leo dialer cab now.
Will report back in a few minutes...

Can you implement the old text messaging client back? I really don't like the Leo client, if not I'll manage or can we have both??

One issue I have found is that I have no access to MMS, I am on Vodafone UK and after the flash I had the connection manager appear where I selected Vodafone. I can use data connection but no option to send MMS.
I am loving Sense 2.5 though

Poor video performance
This rom has poor video performance like many of the other 28014 and up ROMs. You don't have this problem in your 2.1 manila Rom so I assume you must have left out a tweak....otherwise great rom...I love the 2.1 Rom so I hope you are able to clean up the video performance

Hmm... it seems, that the buttons changed during some of my softresets.. The once shown with the dialer, seems to be the right ones.

well basicly you get a standard rom whit nothing modified on it only some tweaking for speed
what you get in the full rom:
the same as light but whit some custimization on the graphics part and some added apps i like to use or find handy

Fisrt impression, very smooth, fast en nice.
You need to reorginize de start menu, because it's a mess.
I test it for a few days and give mine opinion

Hi, nice looking rom I am trying it but I am unable to login to Facebook and Twitter out of the box. Is anybody else having problems login into these apps?

im at the clean version to at the momenten twittertab is working fine for me
facebook i cant check as i dont have a account
did you perform the soft reset when you saw manila homescreen for the first time?

No! I didn't soft reset, just did and both Face book and Twitter is working, any reason why you didn't include Footprint, e Reader and Document Tab? I like the memory after a soft reset

i havent put it in as i first wanted a nice decend stable version
i personaly dont use those tabsbut next version it will be in
i also think those three tabs will eat battery and ram although i use a pp of 12

I have flashed your rom today and most of the mods you make are the same as what i make myself which is great
The ram usage is the lowest I have seen for a WM6.5 sense 2.5 rom , however I have found a problem in mine , if I get a text message and reply to it or send one from contacts list it will not send or even appear in the threaded message window above, it will however send a text message if I click new message then add recipients , any idea how to solve this?

i think it has something to do whit amarulez messaging fix
i will leave it out as in my opinion it doesnt work as it should
tomorow i will uplaod a new version's whit xip/sys updated to 21892 and manila to the 2.07 packages

Okee, used it now 1 day, but, it's slower then the energy rom I used, and somethimes it's takes forever to go beck to homescreen, olso text-message is not working very good, before i can open a link in a sms i must go to reply and then i can click on the link
