is there any way to remove the clock from the taskbar in these 6.5 builds
The first good-looking 6.5 ROM for HD... great!
Some questions:
1) in 1 screenshot (in the upper bar you can see "Notes") the contextual menu looks like HTC-enlarged one. It's different from the default good looking and finger friendly COM3 contextual menu. Why there is it? It has also the shadowing offset wrong: there are some pixels under the top bar not shadowed. I think it's because of the new look of COM3 (with thinner top bar and larger bottom bar).
2) for the same reason of point 1: the HTC taskmanger works well?
3) the right side scrolling bar looks well or it is stretched to fit WVGA instead of VGA (a lot of COM3 ROM come from VGA device and some items, menus, setting pages and side bar are stretched and look very ugly).

The HTC Task Manager is not included. It's very cumbersome to access it. Plus there isn't really a need for one. From what I read WM 6.5 will close hidden apps by itself once it needs free memory.

Some weeks ago, when I tried my first COM3 ROM, I found a new fullscreen and good working volume skin (like HTC one). It could work also with your ROM. SetVolume 0.7.0: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395695
Have you tried e-Natives Showcase? It's a good taskmanager, lightweight and works very well with COM3 ROM (fullscreen, tap and hold on start menu to activate and tap and hold on close button to close and app). http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=530564
Another question: do the 4 bottom buttons (call, home, back, ...) work?

Download and extract both files.
Place the extracted Open Touch v2.5 Biggy.nbh into the Herald-uspl-beta3/RUU folder.
Move the entire Herald-uspl-beta3 folder to the root of the c:\.
Follow the simple readme file.

How to turn off QuickMenu
/Start/QuickMenu/Exit
It will prompt you with "Exit QuickMenu?
Choose yes and it will not startup again even after a reboot.
Things to do after flashing your device:
Network Wizard
Go to \Start\Settings\Connections\Network Wizard
Choose your location and provider, do not reset the device when prompted.
Connections
Go to \Start\Settings\Connections\Connections
Once completed save and exit
Touchflo
Go to \Start\Programs\TouchFlo
Click on the TFSettings
Choose your view mode from the drop down menu and if you want sound while scrolling then check the Enable sound, if not don't worry about it.
Click ok to save, do not reset your device.
Go to \Start\Programs\TouchFlo
Click on Touchsettings
This part has already been filled out for you, just click on the save button to exit.
This step is needed so please perform it...
Now your ready to reset your device.

How to flash your new Touch-IT rom to your beloved Experia
NOTE:
If you want to revert back to SE rom, try use the SE updateservice to recover your stock rom.
1. You MUST have Hard-SPL on your Xperia
2. Download the Touch-IT rom
3. Unpack with winzip/winrar
4. Connect your Xperia with PC (Activesync, or enter Bootloader) Be sure you are connected..
5. Click the ROMUpdateUtility, follow the onscreen instructions.
6. DO NOT DISCONNECT THE DEVICE DURING FLASH PROCESS
6.1 Its always recommended to do a HARD-RESET after flashing a new Rom

Im getting some lockups on activesync now, will check and see whats causing it.
it's the screen that's becoming unresponsive, keyboard and red key works to stop it.
I can confirm the ActiveSync issue. It works, but it locks input. You can get around it, using the keyboard, but a fix would be nice...

I present to you the Shadowline Series. The roms I make are made to be cutting edge, using the latest in Windows Mobile and HTC with a mix of my own taste in graphics, tweaks, and fixes.
Because the purpose of this rom is to be cutting edge, not everything will always work as intended at all times, and that is where you come in at. I need all of you to test, and report back on what needs fixing, tweaking, or even suggestions for newer versions.
This rom, can not, and will never brick your device, unless you do not read the instructions or do something that you aren't supposed to do.
The latest HardSPL is always recommended as that is what the rom will always be based on.
If I do not implement a feature or a request, It is because it will not work, will break the intended design, or it will be worked in at a future time. But I do encourage feedback on everything as you are the ones using it, you should be the ones that have a say in it.
I personally do not own any version of the Rhodium/Touch Pro 2, so all testing will be done by you. So please do report bugs you may get!

When WiFi is enabled in Comm Manager, and you have already previously connected to a wireless point, your Windows Phone when a Data connection is needed will automatically turn on WiFi, and connect to the nearest preset access point. If no access point is nearby that has been set up, your Windows Phone will automatically turn WiFi off again, and connect to your local Wireless Service 3G or GPRS network. While connected to WiFi using this method, if the connection is no longer needed, or the phone is put into standby it will automatically turn WiFi off to preserve battery.

Hello everyone, This is the first release in the new Rhodium version of my rom series.
I do not personally have a Touch Pro 2/Rhodium so I can not test this myself. So please let me know what works, what doesn't work, and what just doesn't seem right.

same here i am having that error on my screen for 5 min i reset the PDA hope it will boot up.... can boot the pda but the error still on the screen...
Shadowline: Did you remove copilot from the ConfigAP file as well while cooking?
I ran into this yesterday as well. I haven't loaded your ROM though, but I guess it's the same issue.
You need to change the file:
<Your Kitchen Dir>/OEM/Rhodium/0409/ConfigAP.txt
And remove the copilot line. Then the ROM will boot up fine.
i cant launch the touch flow 3D so i cant go to the settings... cant stop the error from the task...
i reloaded the rom and will try one more time otherwise i have to remove this from my phone

This looks really promising, ive always wanted a rom with manila 2.5 on a newer windows 6.5.1 build. Ive tried some others before, but they always had some issues that i couldnt get over, im really picky
Just got a quick question for people that have tried this rom:
When rotating the screen in the photos tab of manila, is the bottom bar still stuck to the right side of the screen, ie does the bottom bar stay in portrait mode while manila moves to landscape?
Small irk, i know, but its tiny things like that that bother me, although i know that this has nothing to do with the cooking of the rom, rather than the windows build itself.
I have started downloading it before reading about the copilot bug, i noticed that the file size is >180 MB, which is strange to me, I usaed to dowbload rhodium ROMs in the range of 100-150 MB only. Does it make any difference for you?
I flashed this ROM on my Rhodium (RHOD100). Do a hard-reset. Then it boots. During configuration it shows square window (occupies about 30% of screen and is centered) with "\WINDOWS\copilot.wm6ppc.ca... is not found". This window has no Ok nor Close button. After "ca..." it continues, but display doesn't respond on touch and also on any button excluding the reset one, so I can't scroll the text, go back or to Today screen. It stops on "Tap here to launch HTC Sense" on purple background under error message I've tried to describe. No other action.
After restart it does "first use prepare" again. It never completes this operations and never get to regular Today (Sense) screen.
The screen during first use preparing is very nice! But not enough to be the only use of Rhodium
Ah yes. That would be the problem.

Hi, it still has the copilot error at startup
I do not know if I have the old or the new version,
(I was download/installing just before or after uploading the new version),
but I get the error too.
I have downloaded the copilot.wm6ppc.cab from the internet en placed it on my storage card and I'm trying to copy that to my Windows folder.
I'll keep you informed.

I just downloaded it through the given link (RapidShare), it is so slow, but i use FlashGet to download it.
Finished the download after 40 minutes, it is slow but just be patience rather than nothing at all.

Thanks for that. I believe I uploaded the wrong one (I got the settings link back after discovering my edit to make it point to WM settings instead of manila broke the link) so I should be able to restore that in the next build. This is related to the connection settings issue, and will probably be a deal breaker for most people - have to get a fixed version up tomorrow I think!
As for modifications I'm not sure what to include as I personally prefer the MaxTTM and cab method of modifying - I change my themeing on an almost daily basis and if it's cooked in you can't remove it, only cover it up.

No, only Leo based roms have those tabs. Balaji has kindly let me have his kitchen, which is Leo 2.10 based, as his HD has sadly died I hope to get a 21895 build version based on his superb rom out quickly, though I personally find those tabs cause just a bit too much slowdown.
Well, after 1 hour testing, result is: WLAN not working, Bluetooth not working, But otherwise ROM looks nice almost like STOCK ROM, u should incude Footprints in next release .

The rhodium 2.07 rom was leaked about a month ago, yesterdays release is the official version of that leaked rom. The packages are identical, so there's nothing new.

Leo rom uses manila from the Leo phone (HD2) and Rhodium uses manila taken from the Rhodium device (Touch Pro 2). HD2 has snapdragon processor, TP2 has same processor as our HD's. So Leo manila includes documents, ereader and footprints tabs which cause some slowdown while Rhodium manila is optimised to run on a device without a snapdragon processor. The differences are mentioned in the rom notes sections in post #1 and #2, as is the manila build number at the top of each post.
In terms of what's suitable: the rom forum is full of Leo 2.10 based roms as this has more features and is slightly newer than Rhodium 2.07. However I wanted to cook a Rhodium rom as I find it noticeably faster - I never intended to make a Leo 2.10 based rom but Balaji gave me all the files in his kitchen so it was very easy to make a rom based on his work.

This may not be the most accurate memory check as I'm currently using MaxSense on my phone (I'm 1 of Maxycy's beta testers and skinners).
Anyway memory usage after reset (with MaxSense running):

Hi millski, please can you tell me, do you intend to update your Rhodium rom with Office 2010 and Opera 10 final?
If so, can you give a time estimate please?
