Can't flash Radio - P3600 Software Upgrading

Hi. I've been trying to unlock my p3600i on windows 7, after i've installed the activesync 4.5 xp drivers.
I've managed to flash several custom and an official ROM, but i can't flash a RADIO. Neither the unlocker or the latest radio 1.56.70.11 worked, they just stuck at 0% for ever.
What should i try to do in order to get it unlocked? Am i doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Hardspl version???

Upgraded radio to 1.46.00.11 but still showing 1.30.00.01 in device info.???

Hi,
I have upgraded my Orange SPV M700 (UK) shipped roms to the following:
SPL-1.30.Olipro
AX3L_OS v2.0.8.2
I may have mis-understood from the readme but I thought the updated radio was part of AX3L's rom update as when it completed everything was updated except the radio version (this still showed 1.30.00.01 in device info. the ROM shows 2.0.8.2).
So I updated just the Radio to version 1.46.00.11 and the flash process completed ok, however still it shows 1.30.00.01 in device information.....any idea how to fix this?
I followed the guides on
http://trinityguides.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=category&sectionid=4&id=31&Itemid=66
Apart from the radio not showing the correct version everything else is fine, GPS, etc. does work but I did notice it seemed to get very warm at the back of the handset (can't remember it doing this before the upgrades).
Thanks for any help.
hrdspl 1.30 desn't upgrae radio. Get flash witouth go in bootloader
So, are you saying start the radio rom upgrade without going into bootloader? Just want to confirm as the guides state otherwise...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316274 I download the radio here and upgraded only the radio. I got error text the first time i tried to flash but when phone go to bootloader flash,it again, works perfect!
here you find the 1.46.30.11 radio too

Yes. In that way you flash with sspl.
Thanks for both your replies, flashed ok and now updated with 1.46.30.11.
Cheers.
can i just re-emphasize that it's quite dangerous to flash radios without hard-spl, and not the kind of advice you want to be giving out on this forum. If you're so convinced it's the Hard-SPL, load a different hard-spl before you flash the radio.. SSPL isn't a good alternative as all it does it bypass CID check, not protect your device in case of a bad flash
Switch back to SPL-1.20.Olipro and you can flash radio roms.
yes, please follow the guides on the site, which now reflect the option of going back to old hard spl if 1.30 doesn't seem to be working.
it is not good advice to be handing out in the forum that people should flash radio without hard-spl. You guys are going to wind up responsible for a lot of noob bricks, and you're lucky you don't have one yourself

HTC Diamond ROM upgrade

Hello All,
I am living in israel and I bought HTC Diamond unlocked from US about 2 weeks ago, when i enter phone S/N in order to download ROM upgrade I get a message: "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device. " so I try to enter different S/N and finaly succeed to download: RUU_Diamond_HTC_Europe_1.93.401.2_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.exe
I tried to upgrade but I get a message: "this upgrade utility cannot be used for your pda phone"
why? does anyone had such a problem?
thanks in advance.
hello dude,
You will need to flash HardSPL first, to flash the rom.
or get the CID unlocked.
Search this site it has all the answers you need.
if you can post the seril number you used to download the rom, here so we can use it to down load roms that would be great.
hi to u 2 : )

download tool for hardSPL
your HTC diamond will be unlocked and you can flash any ROM
With regards to attempting an upgrade using the recently released "official ROM" from the HTC website, am I correct in thinking the following:
* With a HTC Touch Diamond on Orange UK, I only need to use the SIGNED HardSPL because the phone is locked but the ROM offered on the HTC website is from HTC itself and therefore signed??
* With just this offical ROM, does the "Radio" also needed to be updated separately somehow? Or if I don't want/need to change the radio on my Diamond, then I just install the ROM update only?
Thanks in advance..
I download: Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex.zip
when I tried to install HardSPL it was written: 1.30 OliNex.
should it supposed to be 1.40 OliNex?
please advice.
Thanks.
In addition, I finaly take a risk and upgraded that HardSPL - it is 1.30 Olinex instead of 1.40. (I still don't understand why?)
The problem is that I tried to upgrade 3 different 1.93 ROM but every one of them don't really working it's stuck on 0% and after ~5 min I get Error 264.
Does anyone had such an Error?
please advice.
Thanks in advance.
try 1.40 oilnex
I used 1.93Olinex Unsigned for mine
Hi everyone,
Finally I succeeded to upgrade the ROM. (1.93.401.2 WWE)
The problem was that I tried to upgrade it with singed HardSPL (that is why it was 1.30 ver instead of 1.40).
Newbie life isn't so easy
Thanks to all of you.

[Q] HD7 - [Error 294] INVALID VENDER ID (for all signed roms)

Dear friends,
2 days ago, i tried my hd7 to update official Mango (posted from football) from NoDo. But update is not complated and my phone is still stay in Bootloader Screen. Everythings looking fine in Bootloader screen :
RED:
PD29100 SS-BC (4K)
SPL-4.5.2250.0 (129185) MNG
MicroP(LED) 0x07
TOUCH S1(v1.8,#1624)
GREEN:
SD SANDISK 15193MB
Partition Info-v211v413
BLUE:
Empty
WHITE:
Serial - USB (After plug cable)
But, when I try flash a ROM, Update Utility saying : Error 264: Invalid Vendor ID and my phone is going back to Bootloader Screen.
Before Update:
My device is not haved RSPL/HSPL.
Working with official stock rom (updated to 7403 via Zune)
Not installed Chevron Unlock
I tried to flash all official stock ROM :
RUU Schubert HTC Europa 1.16.401.01

I tried to flash all official ROMs from HTC.
Never Installed HSPL/RSPL to phone

My phone is stiil wait in boot screen. Not openning OSX.
My Phone is HD 7 Unbranded - Sim Free
any solutions?
(Im so sorry for my bad English)
Thanks...
Are you completely sure you have an Europe HD7?
Did you ever flash an original rom before?
actually im not sure my friend. but i was upload a europan flash to my phone before (RUU_7403).im trying asian now.
I hope for you that asian roms will work.
The only solution I which can work if other original roms also fail is to get the eqipment to flash via gold card methode.
But I hope asian roms will work
thank you sadman but i tried 2 asian roms but not worked. i cant believe this. Resuming error 294 Invalid Vender ID...
So lets say you really have an european HD7
When you flash an old rom (Standard or NoDo) did the flashing tool try to flash or does it fail imidietly?
If you flash old rom's the phone is rebooting after flashing spl & than continues flashing the rest.
maybe by trying older roms, spl is flashed but the os fails like the Mango spl which you mentioned in the first post.
If the bootloader doesn't show the spl version 4.xx you have the chance to try RSPL/HSPL and flash a good/old rom
yes bro, i have european HD 7. after the trying Mango update, SPL is changed to 4.5 from 3.1 and probem started with Mango Update. i need to change SPL, i know, but RSPL/HSPL is not working with this SPL. Phone driver is "Qualdcomm CDMA Technologies MSM" in bootloader mode and showing under Mobile Devices -> HTC Sync in Device Manager.
Edit:
Dear friends. Problem is solved !? i was try RSPL to SPL 4.5 (very dangerous), tool is say a error "not complated". And now, stock rom is openned automatically? i dont understand anything. But phone is half bricked. Now, not showing anything in Bootloader screen.Red-Green-Blue and White is empty.

HTC HD7 flashing Questions

Hello XDA,
I honestly know nothing about Windows Phone and flashing, however here is my problem. HD7 died, so I got it repaired by getting a new SD card installed, however it now longer works, and get stucks at the HTC boot screen. I know of bootmode, but that is about it, it was up to date with the latest version of Windows Phone if that matters.
Basically what I am wondering is how do I fix my phone, do I need to flash it or something? Zune doesn't recognize it when its connected, and my carrier is Bell Canada
Thanks,
CarlosTheJackl
What happen that made it quit working after you had it fixed?
The attachment view of your bootloader says you have spl 4.xxx, so you can try and downgrade your spl to 3.xxx or below with shadows tutorial here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26333574
Follow the rest of his tutorial and install rspl or hspl by DFT then flash the custom rom of your choice.

Be careful with just trying to flash rom versions, you can damage the bootloader and brick you device.
What is it that you are trying to do exactly?
Are you wanting to install a custom rom?
What method are you trying to use?
With a 5.xxx bootloader you can only use the goldcard/ Y cable method to flash your device and downgrade your SPL, unless you have a pre-mango Zune backup/restore point on your computer, then you can use that also to downgrade you SPL.
Let me know what your trying to accomplish and I'll try and help you!
Hi, xdrc45
Exactly I want to install Nextgen 3.4.
I'll trying to install official rom & and custom rom too.
In my planes firstly roll back to earlier versions (because HSPL installer says that required version firmware is not higher 1,6.....), then install HSPL & finish by installing Nextgen 3.4.
Can you help me step by step what I need to do?
Many many thanks for the any help!

You have to lower/downgrade your SPL to at or under 3.xxx to install RSPL/HSPL then flash Nextgen.
With 5.xxx SPL you can only downgrade your SPL in two ways.
1. Goldcard/ Y cable method, requires you to make a "Y" cable made out of 2male and 1 female USB cables and you need a SD card reader/flash drive.
2. Pre-Mango restore point, (Zubair's method, in Shadows tutorial) meaning you upgraded your device from a pre-Mango version to Mango and to you have the computer that you did it on.
Follow Shawods tutorial here, it explains all the above, How to downgrade SPL, flash XSPL and install a custom rom.

Take a look at this thread I wrote, it will tell you how to backup your data and restore your apps, cause you will loose them all.
