Stereo bluetooth headset

Which stereo bluetooth headset works with the HD2?
The SonyEricsson HBH-IS800 is really nice, but you cannot control the volume of this headset.
Nokia BH 500
I noticed that! You can't control the volume of any bluetooth A2DP devices. SO STUPID!! There must be a fix for this?
Sony DR-BT21G works as well with my Leo as it does with my Walkman. Volume control and track controls both work. Not too sure that it works with phone calls though, as I haven't yet tried it.

I've this headset and I can't control the volume even by the phone...
I just ordered some Jaybird JB-200s so I`m hoping this will work with the phone... this phone already cost me a few extra euros just on accesories already and I don`t want a pair of useless earphones... I love JB though...

Hi,
I have this headset also and i'm satisfied with the quality of the sound. The volume is just right for me out of the box. So i didn't notice until now you can't change the volume from the phone.
I added two keys to blue-tooth registry, but i don't think it added to the sound-quality. Maybe there is a key for that volume. Still looking for a tool to do that. What it does do is randomly give me no audio during playback for 3 or 4 seconds :-( (Witch is really annoying). I get compliments from people when i''m on the phone about the audio quality. Even when riding my bike in windy conditions. So thats a good thing. I think the cord could do with another 5 centimeter. I think they forget about the difference in neck size of western people when they developed the thing Japan ;-).
Battery life is better than my old one.
Before this i had the HBH-DS980 on the TYTNII, but the cord broke. This one can display the phonebook and change volume and skip to the next song etc., but i think the size of the HBH-IS800 and sound quality makes up for that.
I'd like to hear from other owners of this device if they experience the same audio interruption problem.
Rgrds, Helssblade.
iam using Sony HBHDS980
Everything works fine including,
1. Music player in manila music tab play, pause, next, prev & volume.
2. Contacts display 7 browsing
3. Call history browsing.
4. In call volume adjustment.
Only problem is,
Need to increase the incall volume after every reconnection.
Nokia BH 503 works great with the LEO. Even coreplayer works with the pause play and next buttons.
Hi,
I'm listening music with the HBH-DS970 Bluetooth headphones.
I noticed, that the soundquality is quite poor, especially the high notes.
Are there any tweaky to improve the soundquality through bluetooth?
Thanks
Philips Taster SHB7110 works perfect!
Hello everybody!
I purchased this headset and works perfectly with my HTC HD2 (I'm installed previously the SRS WOWHD v1.5.1.0). Clear sound (for me) and very comfortable!

I have the same headset and the souns is like am radio,,I think at the problem is in the bluetooth configuration, this phone is coming whit bluetooth 2.1 and maybe this is one of the problems, the another one is att you cant no change the audio parameters in bluetoth like I do in my xperia,so spensive and so meny problems
HBH-IS800
DR-BT160AS...
...is working fine for me.
Everything like Volume, Skipping, Searching, Pause/Play and talking via the headsetfunction ist fine.
Voice is clear at the other end of the "wire"
Really light and works for about 6 hrs. on normal volume (hearing until jogging)
Just got my set of Jaybird JB200...
I had to edit this post and write my updated impressions about the set... The next/prev buttons now work like a charm, even with the main Sense player, which I still prefer over players like PocketPlayer or Core Player... The peering is still kinda sketchy... The phone doesn`t ask for the key of the set and sometimes it does not register Stereo sound from the first try... It seems the way to make it register stereo is having a stereo feed live... like a song playing... The sound itself is very good, I`m satisfied with the quality and the look of the earphones...
If anyone knows a solution for the peering problems please give me a tip...

[Q] Good headphones with remote and mic for Nexus S

Anyone knows what are good headphones w/remote and mic for Nexus S? I tried Sony MDR-EX38iP, but encountered two problems: <major> sound volume is very low, and <minor> volume up/down buttons don't work. Any ideas/suggestions?
these are the ones i use. http://www.amazon.com/Atomic-Earpho...JDB6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1293580222&sr=8-1
graemegb, do all the remote functions work, e.g. track skip?
I have a pair of iPhone compatiable earphones (Ultimate Ears SuperFi v5i) and only the pause/resume function works. Was the same with the HTC HD7 and Desire HD.
I'm not too fussed about Volume, would just like to be able to skip tracks.
no, the play/pause button works but nothing else
SE MW600 still the best! l2dp and controls.
I have Bose MIE2 and Sennheiser MM60.
The button only works with play/pause.
I'd suggest going for AIAIAI y-com headphones, although they do not include a remote inline for volume. They are great though and I've had them for about a year with no complaints.
Check out http://www.aiaiai.dk/headsets/y-com/y-com-grey.html
I have the grey ones, but they also come in black. Make sure you go for the Y-Com and not the Y-model, those do not have the mic.
You don't have to buy them from their website, a quick search will yield local results for shopping.
I use Sony HBH-IS800 Bluetooth Headphones - basically just two buds connected by a wire. They only have one button which plays/pauses music or answers an incoming call. Good sound quality.
Beats by Dre only has a mic though

How to FIX Audio/headphone issues!

So in the last few days i see like.. a LOT of topics started with the title (audio problem etc)
The problem is that de Xperia Z doesn't recognizes an headphone with a inbuit microphone (like the Apple Earpods)
However... the Xperia Z does recognize headphones WITHOUT microphone buit-in!
Try using a normal pair of earbuds without mic and see if the problem is still there... im 100% sure that this is the problem and not with the new update! (or your headphone jack is faulty)
Also had this problem with my Xperia Arc were the music sounds muffled..
So you want to use headphones with inbuilt mic with the Xperia Z?
1. plug in the headphones
2. start the music player (dont play music yet)
3. press a few times on the play button/answer button on the mic and the music will start trough the headphones!
This is an issue with the software on the Xperia Z and not with 4.2.2
greets,
Harvey

Except that for most of users having this problem, the headset was working under the 4.1.2 and NOT with the 4.2.2 update so it think it's an issue with the 4.2.2 update or something like that as you can read it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2355500

Bluetooth aptX with external speaker

Hi,
When pairing up with a Loewe Speaker2Go Bluetooth speaker using aptX my Sony Z3 compact defaults to max volume and the volume control is not configurable from the phone (I am aware this is a KitKat "feature"). The main problem is that this only allows a small scale on the speaker between no sound and very loud sound (3-4 volume presses). Has anyone experienced this kind of problem with other speakers and is there a solution? Thanks,

I paired a Bluetooth Stereo Headset, LG HBS-800, has aptX. When they are connected, I can press the volume rocker on the Z3C and it'll pop up a Bluetooth Volume. My headset has its volume control and works independently.
Yeah, same on my Sony Bluetooth Headphones. Volume control via volume rockers both on phone and headphones (independantly).
My SuperTooth Disco 4 Wireless Portable Bluetooth and NFC Speaker when connected, I get a Bluetooth Volume slider. Apparently it uses the aptX protocol too.
No issue here with the Definitive Technology Cube. NFC, Throw, AptX, and Bluetooth all works together in harmony.
It's a bit of a shame for the OP as that item is pretty expensive that it does that, when much cheaper speakers don't. Odd.
It is a shame as the speaker is very good and worked perfectly with earlier versions of android. Based on the compatibility list it has not been tested with 4.4+ though... Based on the previous replies I guess it is not a sony problem as other Bluetooth aptx devices can still be controlled from the phone. For the devices this works with is the volume in sync on the phone and speaker?
My speaker is controlled entirely by the phone, it has no volume controls itself.
Ok, this seems to be an issue with the Loewe speaker and not the Z3C. I've just been to an hi fi store and tried pairing the phone with a number of Bluetooth aptX speakers, including AudioPro T9, AudioPro T10, Marshall Stanmore and the Sony SRS-X9 and with all these devices I could control the volume from the phone as well. Will check one more thing on the Loewe when I get back home - it had phone and media pairing on (not just media like the other speakers) so maybe this is the problem. If not, looks like the firmware on the Loewe does not support Android 4.4+.
I am having a similar issue but it presents itself when going above the 4th notch on the Bluetooth volume on my XZ3C. Volume goes from 0% to %15 to 30% to 80% to 60% and 70%. When my computer connects to the same bluetooth audio dongle it has a smooth range. I suspect it is a problem with the XZ3C protocols that interfere with certain bluetooth devices and not a hardware problem.
I have the same issue with my JBL speaker. I can't change the volume on the speaker without the Bluetooth volume on the phone rising or reducing. It seems that there isn't any independent control using my z3 compact but if I pair it with my LG g2, it works independently.
Same here with the Jensen Scandinavia Buddy. My Z3C cannot control the volume but my Galaxy S2 running Cyanogenmod at 4.4.4 can.
Still an issue after upgrading to Lollipop.
the good, the bad and the funny
Xperia Z3 Compact, Android 5.0.2
I connect my phone to a Philips BTB 7150 home audio system.
- the phone does not change the volume of the audio system upon connect (good)
- i cannot control the volume of the audio system through the phone's volume rocker (bad)
- when i change the volume directly on my audio system whilst connected with my phone, the phone shows the Bluetooth Volume popup and the slider moves in sync (funny)
So there seems to be some kind of control connection, but only one way.
On the other hand: no problems with iOS devices here. When connected to an iPhone the phone controls the system's volume and system volume changes are reflected on the phone's volume setting.

Xperia Z3 Compact D5803, Android 5.0.2 (Nordic stock ROM, no hacks)
Home hi-fi system with Philips BT adaptor: phone can control the BT audio volume output (as expected)
Home mini hi-fi system: phone can control the BT audio volume output (as expected)
Car BT audio system: phone can control the BT audio volume output (as expected)
JBL Charge BT speaker: phone cannot control the BT audio volume output (oops) ; I need to use the speaker's volume control
So, quite a few gadgets work well, but in fact my JBL speaker suffers from the same problem, which I never realised before.
Is it a speaker BT standards problem ?
Or is there something in the phone's BT implementation that needs refining ?
Same Problem here
I have the following problem:
I use the Z3 compact with a Sony BM-10 BT audio receiver. When a make a call with my BT headset which is not set to maximum volume the volume of the music is set to maximum from time to time afterwards. Also the volume slider shows the BT symbol or loudspeaker or the throw symbol randomly. I tried many things to solve this as pairing the BT devices again. Anyone any idea?

Xperia X performance headphone jack issue

I have an Xperia X performance and it has never worked with my iOS headphones. It would cut out while listening to music (pause whatever there was) and when I hit the play button again it would output via the phones speakers. However if I hit the play/pause button on the headphone remote once and then again it would resume playback thru the headphones. This has never been a problem for me as I had tons of spare earphones so I never really bothered with investigating. Today I had to use them and I found out something strange. If I keep the screen on the music never cuts out. It seems to be that when the screen goes to sleep or outputs a lower current to the jack (possibly) does anyone know how to fix this or if this is the case at all with their phones?
It seems that the device doesn't recognize those headphones properly. Why don't you use the Sony headphones that came with the phone? They're miles better than Apple earbuds anyway.
