Manila 2.0 ROMs (Pureness A-C-D) are WITHOUT htc messaging...
Sense 2.5 ROM (Pureness B) is WITH htc messaging...

Dear Kenia,
how can I toggle off the meteo animation in the hometab?
It's very nice but I think it gets a lot of resources.
I think the ROM would be faster without meteo animation.

Try setting an animated background!!

there's some problem with the active call page.
If you notice, you can see behind the old page and on the top the new one.
You think is possible to remove that?

Hello friend, I have finally found what I was looking for, wm 6.5 with manila 2.0 , but the problem is that I would like a WWE version because I am from Greece. So I would be grateful if you translated your rom [Pureness A]. I'm sure that many people would like a WWE version also.

It's a known issue...it's probably due to some compatibility problem with WM build...I don't know how to "fix" it...but I reckon it doesn't matter because it doesn't actually prevent from the usability of the PDA...

No vibration on keyboard

I've tried the B version. The fastest ROM I've never tried! It requires a lot of memory, the first time my blackstone says that it needs more memory but very very fast.
I noticed only two issues. When I push the keys on the keyboard the phone doesn't vibrate. I tried to change settings but nothing happen.
The second issue is that "proponi nuovo orario" in the calendar doesn't work.

For keyboard vibration :

it's not an issue...simply a preference...
the other thing I guess it's dued to WM build...I'm afraid that I can't help cause I've never used WM calendar!!

The dictionary is both italian (by default) and english if you prefer...
but I strongly suggest you to install this ROM :

thanks Kenia, good to see you developed an italian rom with some recent version of software! I have downloaded and installed version C and I will let you know if I find problems.

Ciao Kenia, ho installato la Pureness C : Manila 2.0 e WM 6.5.5 ma dopo il flash (malgrado abbia fatto 3 hardreset e scaricata novamente la rom) mi si ferma alla schermata dell'impostazione dell'ora e della data e non va più avanti.
Ho installato la versione A e tutto è andato bene.
C'è un modo per risolvere la cosa?

Only italian language.For english why don't try Dopod or HTC WWE?

For TIM devices could I upgrade the ROM directly or should I first unlock anything ?

you can upgrade your TIM device with the new ROM directly. The unlock isn't necessary.

Yes, you can install the new ROM, but the configurations of TIM mobile operator will be lost.
Now, my p3660 is an ex TIM branded device.

hi, there is a way to change the la guage of a cooked rom (i'm italian and the only italin cooker c1p8 sold his xperia)?
yeah recooking it after using italien files or using a reshacker to change all texts inside dlls and exe's

I'm italian too and I've some experience in rom cooking (I've done a pair of working translation cook for HP iPaq 914c). Today is my first day with experia and I'm just workingon its roms. I think in the next weeks you can expect a WM6.5 Italian rom for X1!!

Im new in the forum and i have a question.
But first im sorry for my englisch because my knoledges is totaly poor and i try to translate all from German into English.And sry if i make a Mistake
My problem is that im using a Htc Diamond P3700 with WM 6.5 BsB Rom
and i want the Android Bootloader on my PPC. The problem is that i don´t know what is the right or the best Android for my phone because their are too many version. I have try many versions e.g Android 1.03.10 and XDANDROID 02.02.10
and no one works fine...I have problems with my PIN-Code(but i found the solution for that) an i get many problems with some apps that i must force to close like Android keyboard or Better Startup....
Does Someone know what the right version of Android for my PPC is?
And what Startup i should use ( DIAM500 or DIAM100 or DIAMOND)

at now.....android is not very usable on htc diamond...because system is started from internal storage and this destroy your battery in a few hours...there is a new feature for hd2....there is a linux bootloader that can start android on nand(the device memory)..but is a pre-alpha release and is not public....hope will import on diamond!!!!howewer...if you want to use android use the last version:2.2 froyo

now if i understand it right....the android froyo ROM is it a normal ROM that delete the WM and i can use only Android? or is it again a SD ROM where i must started from the Haret.exe ?
it's not a rom....it's a program that emulate android and when you launch it wm fall out of memory and only core files are active....but if you restart the sistem the device will boot up window mobile!!

Can someone help me with the full procedure to install android into HTC Diamond. Android apps are tempting me...
I have the same problem .I have tried many versions ,but no one work till now.I am really looking forward to the perfect Android rom on my diamond.
Download the Android 2.2 Froyo
then extract all the filles in to the internal storage
choose all the apps you want and put it in the Adroid Apps folder
then choose from the STARTUP folder the right startup.txt (the DIAMOND)
and pu it on the front off your files.
now start the haret.exe file and wait...
in one moment the will tell you to calibrate the display
the boot will take his minutes(5-6) but before you boot turn the pin-code off because you can´t use pin-code in the Android rom

yes with Gen Y boot i thing the bootloader menu that you can choose in what rom you would like to start your device....
The very fast battery usage is another problem too
I've installed Gen Y boot and in effect it is better even if it still long. About the battery I don't see a big difference with WM, on the contrary some times seems slower...
I have some problems with the buttons when the screen turn off, I haven't still uderstand which button I have too push to turn on again...I push them all....
