In fact that file you put up contains some other files aswell but none that should harm any other build.
The same file can be downloaded here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=700669 (the attachment)

Legendary man thanks!, is the getprop file part of the fix or just the firmware?

Just the firmware. The other things was to fix things in my own CM port but they shouldn't harm any other build either.

next up is just the camera and a little further optimizing and eclair is fully functional

excuse my ignorance. bit of a noob here...
2 questions please
how exactly do i install this update?
can this update be used on doughnut?

donut already has working bluetooth audio unless it is a sense build, so you dont need to install this update

Confirmed that this works on Myn's Warm Eclair. Thumbs up!

Wow guys this is fantastic news! The only thing keeping me from eclair was no BT!

This is a2dp or just audio for phone calls?

you say firmware, but that doesn't sound right, especially since this would be a software update.

It's a file in the filesystem that contains firmware for our bluetooth chip. It's nothing that is permanently installed on the phone.

There's a binary firmware file for the bt chipset under /system/etc/firmware. that's what got updated, not the phone 'firmware'
Edit: jinx!

Good pickup on this guys!

This is how Linux works. I've installed Ubuntu on a few machines, and sometimes you need to extract the firmware for it to work. Like if you want Wifi working, it'll need to dump a copy of the firmware. Considering Android is Linux based, makes sense that it does this too. I never understood why Linux needs this, as I don't think Windows does this. Wonder if this is the same reason why camera doesn't work in Eclair either?
BTW, nice work thebulletfromhell. You just made my day. Time to install Eclair.

thanks guys. Hopefully myn will incorporate in his next build.

In "Music" app in Warm Eclair the audio does not route to my A2DP/Handsfree device. In call audio gets routed to the device though. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I think that is as good as it gets at the moment. I don't think that have ever worked in Eclair for us. I've done some experimenting with the bluez config files but I didn't make any progress.

HTC HERO

Hi guys i have been looking around on google xda etc. but there is nothing about running htc hero on xperia using haret, does anyone knows if this is possible . thanks in advance
First HTC Hero is a device, not something that run.
Probably you mean Hero's interface, HTC Sense. AFAIK is not ported yet.
thats what i mean im dont know much about the htc devices
Actually I've uses the Hero Rosie package from Blackstone, and it sucks. Not only it doesn't fit WVGA properly, but like sense on WM6, it's slow and takes ages to load. Plain android is no worse, I should say
i said what I wanted to boy...I too want a HTC Hero UI on my X1...i think it is by far THE best device by HTC..of course there are HD2 and all, but they have come later...

Well, I meant wm6.1 of course. Well, wm6 and wm5 can be ported to xperia, but it makes no sense. Just go to the Xperia ROM section and pick up any 'Leo' rom if you want sense for wm6.1/wm6.5

Just in case, I'm using
package_sense_hero_rosie_140310.tar.gz with rootfs_use_if_pbs_booting.img renamed to rootfs.img on my X1. Wifi doesn't work (well, I guess it will work once i put calibration and fix the init script but I don't care), but sound does (with the zImage from the nearby thread), and mic works for sound calls and voice command. Ok, I'll take my time to fix the issues and repackage the image. Still Sense sucks in WVGA. And a small hint to android users: if you want OpenGL and other cool things, launch the camera application before launching your desired app. That'll also make sense faster

Screen upside down since fatsal had to patch android driver for kovsky to initialize panel the correct way. I am not a programmer but believe it will need to be included in system.sqsh. I will give it try with set of files you're using and report on sound as well as overall impressions comparing to what I'm running

[App] Atrix Webtop Unlocker - ** BETA **

Being a Linux guy, all these batch files have been driving me mad
Anyways, in an effort to benefit from all the great development that has been going on around the Atrix, I started converting some of the batch files to Bash scripts, for me, and my Linux brethren to to enjoy. However, I quickly realized this was creating parallel development paths, and scripts presented limitations that were becoming hard to manage, so I decided to create an Android App. My hope is this will provide a more universal appeal, and remove host OS dependencies.
After a couple of weeks of getting up to speed on Java, I now present the “Atrix Webtop Unlocker” Android Application! This is very much a work in progress, but with feedback from the community, we will be able to improve the app to the point it will be very user friendly and useful.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a nutshell, this application is the Android version of Sogarth's wonderful script: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1000316
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Like all of my other projects, this is open source, and available for download at: https://github.com/mistadman/Atrix-Webtop-Unlocker, or via an apk binary download attached to this post.
I eagerly await your feedback and input!
Last, but not least, thanks goes out to--in no particular order--Sogarth, bartsplanet, godwin1981, Ririal, Fenny, and all the rest of the XDA Community! A lot of what you did heavily influenced the development of this app. Also, if I left anyone out, I apologize in advance.
***NOTE - At this time, this app requires your device to be rooted and has only been tested on AT&T v1.57.
*** So one bug I am sure some will encounter is the rotation bug. I have to make AsyncTask play nice with Activities that are destroyed during screen rotations. Fix coming soon, but in the mean time, try not to rotate the phone while running this app :-( ...Did I mention this was work in progress? LOL!
I wont have time to mess with it til Sunday, but ill test it out then and let you know how it goes.

does it have to be stock launcher? I'm having issues setting up LXterminal off of Gingerblur 3.1.
Correction: Gingerblur 3.1 has some problems with it...i've done 2 flashes and tried 1.5.7 with and without 3.1 and i do notice that Webtop mode has some problems with Firefox specifically and LXterminal is missing.
Is there a chance of this working on 1.8.3?

Actually, it's not. There are quite a few differences between the 1.57 and 1.83 webtops. They removed a lot of binaries and changed some things around. Be wary installing this on 1.83, it'll probably break your webtop and you'll have to reflash.

yeah you're right, i finally got it running and it broke my Firefox, File Manager, and just about every program accessible. It WILL install but it won't function properly. I was under the assumption since 1.83 didn't really affect 1.57 in any major ways besides the HSUPA unlock update that it was the same. On the version notes, it does say the same version on mine though....i don't know why they call it the same when its not.
FYI guys,
My app does not modify/touch the original /osh directory, so at the worse, you will just need to remove the /data/ubuntu.disk file, reboot, and you're back to stock Webtop. No re-flash necessary if something goes wrong.

Hmmm. What you can try is downloading the GladiAtrix3 beta I have, and pulling the domain_policy.conf from the lxterminal folder inside the zip and installing it onto your phone. See if that fixes anything. The issue is that all the versions are different, and tomoyo just says "**** no" to everything you try to run because it's not specifically allowed in the policy. The file in GA3 is from a 1.83 webtop, modified to allow awn and lxterminal to run unrestricted.
EDIT: I'll just attach the file, it's easier for everyone Let me know if it fixes anything
EDITEDIT: Make sure you're replacing the file in the loaded image, not in the stock /osh directory.

I've done the same thing (sbf 1.2.6 -> 1.5.7 -> root -> webtop unlocker -> 1.8.3 -> gingerblur) but I lost completly entertainment center and webtop.

Well, no. The webtop mod uses your current /osh as a base. The problem is that it's making a lot of assumptions from 1.57 files. Things got changed up in 1.83, and it causes problems.
If you're talking about the webtop through HDMI mod, then we're talking about two completely different things

Only the ROM was leaked; not the radio. There is a prior "leak" of a radio (5.06) available elsewhere in the Incredible Development forum but the "new" radio version will be 7.07, according to the PDF's in the Verizon website leaked on Monday.
What the "bugs" are delaying the OTA is anybody's guess; it could be the radio, it could be features of the ROM. Verizon Wireless is usually very fussy about this stuff (for the most part, notwithstanding all the issues with the original Sensation and Thunderbolt releases).
FB for HTC Sense doesn't work for me.

Will this fix my <non molly device>?
No, this rom is only for mollys, it will brick any other device.
Will OTAs work after flashing this?
Yes, that is the purpose of this
Do I need to be on a certain bootloader to use this?
No, it includes the original bootloader.
Do I need a custom recovery to flash this?
Yes, the stock recovery will not accept update zips that are not signed by google
Is this rooted?
No, the stock rom is not rooted, neither is this
My device won't finish booting after flashing.
If you were not originally on the same rom, you may need to do a factory reset to finish the process. Android does not like rom downgrades without a factory reset

Thanks! Do you have to have a USB keyboard in order to move around in CWM on the ADT-1?

Yes you need a usb keyboard to use CWM currently, there may be an update in the future to enable the dev button on the back to select in cwm like it does in fastboot. Until if/when that happens you either need a keyboard or to do everything manually via adb.
I don't have a keyboard however, I did all my work/testing with only adb.

Thanks for the articulate follow-up. I started to do things manually via ADB. :good:
anyone can post a complete lpx13D CWM backup , stock recovery or at least system.img
I've messed up my ADT1 and it can't seem to take the image I've found yet
@TheManii Are there any custom roms or anything like that for the ADT-1? I just got one in the mail from I assume google. I'm ready to begin , but I don't honestly know what people are interested in seeing on this device I have a madcatz mojo using all the adt-1 binaries except audio running cm-12 and android tv from this device. So if anyone is interested in that let me know please.

Hello UD,
There isn't any custom roms for the ADT-1 (So yours would be the first)
I for one would love to see a more recent build than the last OTA (LPX13D - OCT 29th) There have been rumors that we'd get the final Android Lollipop but nothing has surfaced.
How much work is involved in rolling an AOSP+ADT-1 Binaries+Android TV dependencies?
Cheers Rob.

It's possible https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Og-GDeRhJno but I could not get all the apps correctly working the main one being playstore , but I will try again look at the android build number and build date. I basically made a google apps package based on the adt-1 this is before I had one so possibly now I can get us an aosp 5.0.2 base working the Mojo in terms of hardware is similar to the adt-1 and for me to boot 5.0 on the mojo I needed adt-1 updated tegra 4 binaries so this shouldn't be hard at all once I work out the playstore issues.

Wow that is really impressive work, The current build on the ADT-1 is flaky at best for me, i'd love to see how a more recent build performs and if it prevents me from having to do a daily reboot.
Cheers Rob.
@Unjustified Dev just got mine on Tuesday. are you thinking releasing sources on your team github. i saw that a device and kernel repository was created but they are empty.
PS: nice to talk to you again been a while.
