[HELP] Answering Call - Random No Mic - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I have this annoying intermittent bug with my nexus one. This 'bug' does not seem to ROM or Baseband specific.
5 times out of 10 I answer my phone (without using a headset of any type) and I can hear the caller but the caller cannot hear me.
This was happening to me on all cyanogen 5.0.6.xxx ROMS. I have played around with different base bands but nothing fixed the issue until I flashed the first froyo ROM from Modaco's Paul O'Brien. Being a bundled flash with ROM and baseband it completely fixed the symptom.
I have now moved to the latest djmcnz kang-0-rama ROM and the symptom as reappeared.
I haven't pushed the froyo baseband onto the device again yet, as I suspect I am going to fall into the hole as I was in while using cyanogen.
Now before being flamed and told 'TRY SEARCHING" etc I have searched the entire Nexus One Forum using these key words - call, answer, mic, receive and I have also tried short statements like - no mic answering call etc... I got a couple of hits with people suffering the same symptom and no resolution.
Does anyone have any advice or able to assist constructively with my issue?
thanks in advanced all
Matt

i've had this before but it hasn't happened since i stopped using taskiller so i'm assuming i was killing something required here.

Hey thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I do not have task killer installed.

So I am now on the latest djmcnz release and I have flashed the froyo radio img via fastboot again but I am still getting this no mic on answering calls, probably 60% of the time...
Does anyone have a resolution? Or maybe some other steps I can take to resolve the issue. I have used search a number of times but cannot find a fix.
Any help would be appreciated.
best regards
Matt

Unless I can find a fix for this mic problem I am going to have to flash back to Paul's original 2.2 release with the radio included.
I have found threads explaining to disable the second "noise cancellation" mic. I don't see the point, why should I have to disable a key feature?
I am going to test the hardware using recording software and see if that makes any difference before giving up and flash back to Paul's ROM and giving up on this HELP request.
TIA
Matt

I started getting this problem again on cm 508, now I am using FRF91 and this problem still occurs about 90% of the time I answer a call.
No issues when I make a call yet but it has happened previously on other roms.

behelit - thanks once again for describing another issue with the inbuilt microphones.
If other members have had issue's with the dual inbuilt microphones would you mind just taking the time to say hi and describe your scenario?

I just noticed that I don't have SP1 and SP2 installed from the latest djmcnz 2.2 "full" release. Looking at the change log's I don't see anything that could help this issue. Time will tell.

not sure what you meant there but what kind of lock screen do you use? and what case do you use?

Um lock screen is just the default Froyo. Case? I use the N1 case that came with the phone...
Is that what you talking about?

OK,
I have installed 'upgraded' and now sitting on Kang-o-rama 0.9 Final SP2.
I am still experiencing the no mic "caller cannot hear me, i can hear them" issue.
A reboot does seem to temporarily fix the problem. A few calls later the mic starts to fail again.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

For me the mic fails to work in mid-call, sometimes for about 7 seconds. At times they wont even work till i redial again. It's fustrating as heck when you're talking and you dont know when you're cut off till the other person goes "hello?" and the both of you will be yelling into the phone till the mic works again.
Phone info :
ROM - Kang-O-Rama 0.9 SP2 (Installed Lite KOR upgraded to SP2)
Kernel - Intersect Raven's Kernel CFS
Baseband/Radio - 32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.12_7
Background apps running(most of the time) - UltimateJuice for Root
Taskkillers running/installed? - no
Edit : I'd like to add that, prior to installing the 2.2 ROM(s) i had no issues with the phone mic acting the way it is now. And even when i tried flashing MoDaCo's Desire rom port with the old radio, i still encounter the mic issues. 2.2 broke my mic :<
Edit 2 : Matt, what kernel are you using? I might be going out on a limb here, but it might be related to the kernel?

Thanks for taking the time to post here. I like how you have added the symptom posted above in bold!!! I have this same symptom. Reboot may fix it for a call or two.

Just giving this another bump hopefully someone can lend a hand

OK,
I am about to move back to cyanogen. I have ROM, radio and new addon pack.
I am going to completely wipe my device as always and see if I can get some stability back with my microphone.
With 350 views on the thread I am sure this is a problem others are facing. If I am completely blind and have missed a post about the same topic somewhere else, can some kind soul please point me in the right direction..
TIA
Matt

I think i found the culprit for my phone issue..
Standard phone posture
Pinkie slips and covers mic
Sometimes, when i talk too long, my pinkie slips and covers the main mic. Then all sounds are considered background noise thus get silenced by the secondary mic.
Edit: this is also caused by user trying to support the bottom of the phone to prevent the phone from dropping, but covering the main mic at the same time
I hope this is what caused it.
to replicate the problem, just talk with a friend/family, and halfway through your sentence, just lightly cover the mic hole at the bottom and your side will be muted entirely

Thats funny, luckily I'm not left handed. More importantly I don't suffer from ID_10_T syndrome.

i sure hope that was the problem though, or the noise cancellation acting haywire

Cyanogenmod 7 stable

Hi guys,
Correct me if I am wrong but is CM7 STABLE already out?
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=stable&device=legend
AND

Why am I reading so many issues about GPS and various inquiries in the nightly section if there already is a stable out?
Because right now the ROM is stable but not complete that's why nightlies are still going on.
I propose an idea

Because after first stable was out, there were still issues with GPS (in fact with the bearing during navigation). Later CM team has found a solution that was included in the nightlies, it was tested few days and most of us gave a positive feedback. Also some new things included (that "tablet" status bar was nice even if removed in #55). So, a new "stable" release was made to incorporate these.

Nightlies are built every night and as long as the servers work they will be built every night.
Nightlies don't have anything to do with stable releases or feature completeness.
Ok, thanks. Surprised there isn't a thread dedicated to the stable release since more ppl would know about it then. I'll give 7.02 a go then, just flashed 7 stable last nite and pretty impressed so far (after new radio and the gps fix).
Has anyone experienced some minor problems with the "wake with trackpad" option in the last stable version (7.0.3)? I mean, it wakes up the device, but mostly I have to press it several times not only once.

Yes, I experienced this issue and few other. Too annoying for me, so returned back to BlaYo's B-0.8. GPS issue fixed when upgraded radio. But I ocassionally pressed something on the screen with my face during calls. After answering a call the voice was redirected to loud speaker by default (after about 1 s the loudspeaker was turned off). Automatic data synchronization (mail, news, weather) worked randomly - sometimes I had to manually check everything. I think, I just wait for fixes.

CPU settings were not altered from the begining. I run at 787 with min set to 245, interactive. It is like this from the first nightly that had the CPU OC included. It's not happening allways and also didn't had such problems with nightlies or other stable versions. That's not a big deal anyways...
By the way.. no questions in Dev section..

You mean CM7 roms? I didn't have the loudspeaker issue with CM6 and as far as I know it was first with 7.0.3..
And it seems it's somehow hardware dependent. I never had any "loudspeaker" problem with CM 7 stable or nightly.

Holy crap I thought I was the only one who had this. CM6 worked perfectly, since the update CM6 -> CM7.0.3 the ringtone plays, I accept the call, and can hear the other person on the (handsfree) loudspeaker for about 1 sec until the sound is switched back to the internal speaker.
It suddenly occurs to me that the reason I've never experienced this might be that I always keep the phone on "vibrate only".. Could be worth trying for those who frequently have the problem.

I dont get it and I have the ringtone on. Some hardware version dont have it and some do it seems.
I also have the problem with background data dropping when going into sleep mode after a while. When I wake my phone up the status bar icons are all white and I have to manually check gmail, etc. The phone establishes a connection with Google services again after a while and they go back to green but it is really annoying. Didn't notice this on 7.0.2. Apparently nexus s owners are having similar problems.

Loosing data when the phone goes into sleep mode

Hi, I 'm facing this problem for a long time, I haven't found any solution yet.
When the phone is awake, everything goes well, I can surf, send and receive whatsapps, etc, whenever I want.
After I lock it and it goes into sleep state, I still can receive whatsapps for about 5-10 minutes. But after that I no longer receive anything.
Sometimes I receive them an hour later after they were sent.
After that, when I unlock the phone, it always shows the network data icon, enabled and active , but when I try to surf or chat, 95% of times, I don't have internet, it stays loading forever, until I disable and re-enable the data.
Of course, after this , I installed an app to check my network traffic, called "network monitor mini".
When this error happens, I have 0 bytes being transferred, whatever I do or open, nothing is able to communicate over internet, until I reset the data and it works again.
This happens to me in all roms, LG stock, Zeus and also CM7.
Is anybody having this issues too? Or how to fix it, check the causes or wtf is happening there?
For now I have been unlocking the phone every 15-20 minutes and checking if it has data conection.
Thanks

Maybe its a good thing to wipe everything with smartflash tool and then installing the custom rom, to ensure that everything is erased.

good luck
That happen to me a few times, but its wierd cause sometimes it goes into a really deep sleep i.e. downloading something from market and phone locks itself, after a while I unlock it and "downloading %" is the same when it locked [wifi is set to "always on" of course]...
The rest of the time is ok, which is almost all the time, actually I haven't had that issues from a few months ago... BTW I'm now using supressedV7
I've got the exact same problem. I initially had it with stock rom, then I changed to zeus and had it there as well.
However I stuck with Zeus and the problem went away after a few of his updates.
I received SODs with Zeus though so I changed to Suppressed ROM and then the data problem was back.
I'm now on rooted stock V20G, but I haven't had a chance to test the data yet.
I had it before too with all roms except lemmings then with boype cm7 it seemed like it went away too until two days ago .... sigh... sometimes I just leave the wifi on and that seems to help abit...
just sayin....
Ok right now I'm trying out this app "3g connection fixer" from the market. It automatically restarts the 3g connection when it detects a problem. Seems to be working well so far. I don't see any actions from the app but I am keeping my connection better since 8pm last night. Might be worth a shot
-----------------
Update 27082012
Ok the connection fixer app was a hit and miss for me, now I'm using this cooltool from market seems to be better, no doubt the app seems unrelated to the problem but I believe the loss in connection is due to radio going into deep sleep and not being able to wake up promptly. This app runs in the background and somewhat prevents that from happening I think..... of course that's just my assumption, but my data and phone seems to be running well after installing this app since 2 days ago..... and it also has a cool floating widget that moves (see screenshot)

Hey, what was this new app you are using. My problem still persists
Its called cool tool from the market another one you could try is wakelock from darken both help me with my problem but it still does happen sometimes

I also had that problem sometimes. You should change the title to "data connection" not only data, cause this sounds a bit confusing. But what ROM are you using/are you sure, it happens in all? Maybe it's one of the build.prop or other "tweaks" that cause the problem... Try to flash only stock with root and see if it also happens there. I dont have the problem currently, with my own selfmade ROM, without any of those "tweaks"...
With stock its fine also with lemmings and Zeus up till v4ish I think (when huexx ) implemented the toggles with boype it happens too but alot less

It's not really a new ROM, I just flashed the v20s European version, injected CWM, flashed superuser.zip, uninstalled some apk's I dont need, added supercharger. I simply didnt use any so called "Tweaks" since they often seem to bring more problems (at least in my opinion), than they actually bring of advantage... I mean LG doesnt use those tweaks for a reason what that reason is? I dont know, but probably incompatibility with some user behaviour or some networks/phones. That's why I am on stock GB, till we get ICS, cause I need a reliable phone.

It might be network related because it happens with different ROM's, and most probably it's about the fast dormancy thing.
Don't blame the "good ol' phone" for nothing.
I still have the problem with stock ROM and I have tried different SIM cards. I have now sent the phone back to LG and we will see what solution they come up with...

Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Just flashed this without having any trouble during the process until I powered off afterwards - or, attempted to. It hung on the power off screen, so I had to hold down the power button in order to turn it off. After I booted up again, Google Play Store crashed. I managed to get it to work long enough to install a few other apps (Textra, Lookout, Themer, and Dashclock) by disabling the Play Store app and then opening it. Whenever I tried to open these apps, they crashed upon opening and the app icon changed to the Android bot icon instead of the app's normal icon and the package name instead of the app name. After the first downloaded app crashed, then I got an error that Google Play Store crashed, and its icon changed the same way. I then attempted a factory reset within the ROM, but it hung on the power off screen. I held the power button again, booted back up, and it looks like all the preinstalled apps work except Play Store. When I try to test SuperSU, it says that Play Store has stopped and does not load a list of apps. Now, Google Now is saying that I "need Google Play Services, which is not supported by your device." Any idea what went wrong?
Had a similar problem, my mistake was not to follow the procedure EXACTLY as stated. It turns out that I did not wiped everything except from what's in the sd card, did that and boom! A nice ROM to play with. Give it a try.
I might give it a try again, but I know for a fact that I performed the wipe correctly.
Please, do tell how it went.
Worked this time! Thanks for your help!
Works great but have quite poor battery life, refuses to go into deep sleep.
msm-hsic-host wakelock, horrible wakelock pins the cpu 384 mhz min.
bugs ive found-
using the cast screen button renders a blank screen to my chrome cast.
Yup, battery life is pretty crappy. But had a similar battery life with stock NE3 firmware. In a couple of weeks I'll be getting a new battery. Bought my phone from eBay and it came with a used one, I'm just guessing at the moment.
I lost 30% overnight but this morning changed some wifi settings and loaded up betterbatterystats to see what's causing the wakelocks. Maybe it's something straightforward. I like the aosp a lot and going to try and make this rom work as a daily driver.
I'll post any findings or improvements.

If possible go to the "raw info" in bbs, and check out your kernel wake locks, as far as the software went on this rom I saw no serious wakelocks, but when I switched to kernel view that's where the problem was. I lost all 80% over a period of ten hours while sleeping the other day. Thats with nothing installed but what came with the rom.

Yep, same here. Phone never enters deep sleep. After about 3 hours lost 10% of battery. 80% of the partial wakelocks were msm_hsic_host wakes.
I think the issue has to do with the wifi. Even though wifi is set to be off when the screen's off, betterbatterystats shows the wifi is on 100% of the time. This makes some sense since there appears to be an issue with the wifi driver where after a full reboot my wifi won't work until I do a hotboot. This happens for everyone else right?
I will try and look into the wifi fix that was part of the masterpatch and see if that provides any fixes.

This is a known issue on the S4 Active as discussed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2412645
Flashing the file labeled "S4 Active Speaker Phone Fix" aka "S4_Active_Call_Record_Fix.zip" fixed this issue for me.
ChristopherXDA, it appears you were involved in the original fix!
Joe-Tech, you may want to incorporate the zip's changes to the sound configs in /system/etc/snd_soc_msm into your next S4 Active build.
Ha, oh man thats a little embarassing. You're right, that fix works on this Rom too.
I tried some of the other fixes though like for Wi-Fi in the masterpatch and that doesn't work on this rom.

I see little feedback for this ROM. What can I do to give give more accurate and useful info?

The rom is generally problem free. Aside from the battery life, it's quite solid. Both of his nexus style roms have this msm_hsic_host wakelock problem (I've tested the GE S4 rom). He is aware of this issue. Unfortunately, he has had some personal things happen lately, so he's not available to work on the rom. Family comes first.
Also, I recently test DS Battery Saver from the Play Store. Even on its most aggressive battery saving mode, deep sleep was never entered. So, don't bother.

About CyanogenMod
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Not Working / Bugs
Rotation of capacitive soft keys (intentional)
Graphical distortion in photos taken using the front camera
How to Install
Download the ROM from below
Download GApps (I recommend Pico, because it will keep your phone running fast)
Download and install this recovery
Attach the phone to your computer
Copy the ROM to your phone
Copy the GApps to your phone
Boot into recovery
If this is your first time installing this ROM then factory reset the phone from recovery
If you want to upgrade the ROM, flash the new version on top, and only wipe cache and dalvik cache
Go to Install and select the ROM zip file
After ROM has finished installing, flash the GApps
Go to Reboot -> System
First boot will take long time, depending on the GApps you have flashed
After the phone is booted, it might be hot, because it was booting for a long time (~5 mins for Pico GApps)
If the phone is hot, then Power Off and let it rest for a while. Then turn it on and set up the phone.

I know how to fix that. I just didn't on purpose because I have to change frameworks repo, which means I have to fork it, which means I have to keep periodically merge updates in repo from CyanogenMod.
In short, I am just too lazy

Will install this evening and report back, thanks...
Actually don't care too much about the capacitive button rotation...
The Automatic Brightness however really makes a difference in useability... Any idea how to enable that?

I think the light sensor is not functioning properly. I will check again.
But, is it possbile for you to check this as well?
I just installed the ROM (along with TWRP), and everything is running great!
Thank you @rqmok for making the Inc S live once more (I honestly thought dev was dead for good)
Here's my general thoughts after using for around 3 hours
Pros (compared to @szezso's ROM):
- Video recording fixed
- Feels like there's more RAM? Could be just me, but apps are staying in bg for longer
- Some things are definitely faster, like opening Play Store
Cons :
- I can't change what the capacitive buttons (hamburger menu or search) do. Probably has to do with what you said about not forking CM's repo.
- Google camera still crashes when you try to go into its settings. I have no idea why, it's kind of Google's fault, and this happened on szezso's ROM too, so no big worries. Google camera's photo quality is quite horrible anyway. I sure miss HTC noise reduction and image stabilization though...
- Nothing else at the moment? I'll let you know what I think after a few more days (battery life, performance after all apps are installed, etc).
Again, thanks so much @rqmok!

Ok the phone appears to be completely silent (used to have sound too...not sure why)
And upon restart, I get a dialog saying com.android.phone has crashed, then the phone hangs and the only way to turn it off is by removing the battery
The sound reappears after I rebooted again, but calls are still silent
Also, I'm unable to make calls

Unable to make any calls? So, when you make a call, what does the ROM say?
Also, relating to the sound going silent, did you install any apps of any sort that you think would do this? Or did you change any settings?
EDIT: Hello. I have been running the ROM for an entire week, and I didn't have any problems like this. I still have audio working. I can also make and receive calls, but there is no in-call audio. I will try to fix this as soon as possible.

The ROM doesn't say anything.
The phone says "calling" the way it would usually, but there's no sound.
Then the phone acts as if the other person has picked up and starts counting time.
Two things I've noticed:
1. The other person DOES NOT receive the incoming call. I know because I held the other phone in my hands, and it did not ring. HOWEVER, when the other phone calls, mine does ring, I just hear no sound after answering
2. No money is subtracted from my prepaid account. That means no time was actually spent on network? I'm not sure.
I don't believe any apps would've done this (all the apps I've installed are the apps I've installed on szezso's ROM), and my volume profile is normal. If you need a logcat just tell me. By the way, have you tried calling anyone else on your Inc S? Does it work for you? If it does, I'll do a clean reinstall and see what happens. Right now, my phone is incapable of making ANY sounds at all.

Yes, I have tried calling my brother's number with both phones in my hands. I have called both ways, and the call connects, but there is no audio in the call.
If you can provide a logcat that would be nice.
Here you go. Some things may be in Chinese (because that's what I set the language as), so tell me if you need translations.
By the way, do you think you're going to get a fix on this soon? Because my Inc S is still my daily, so I'll need to use it the latest by Monday

I'm sorry, I don't think I can get a fix for this by Monday.
If you want to revert back to some other ROM, then flash szezso's recovery and wipe/format everything (including internal storage), then you can install the older ROM.
I'm really sorry this had to happen. I will try to get a fix for this in the next week.
Until then, everyone who needs the call feature should not install this ROM.
EDIT: By the way, have you tried calling someone else as well?
EDIT: Which phone carrier are you with? And which phone carrier was the phone which didn't receive the call?

It's totally fine man. Always here to support dev
I have not tried calling anyone else
My phone network is H2O Wireless (which uses AT&T's network), and I called someone with Verizon Wireless
I already backed up the ROM so reverting will be quicker if necessary
although backing up szezso's ROM is impossible (due to mounting /data or something) so that's slightly annoying
Hello.
I am currently trying to fix the audio bug during calls. I just saw that I was missing some important audio files. The files were there, but they weren't being included in the package. So, I have included those and need someone to test. I will be making some other small changes in the kernel as well. So, if someone wants to volunteer for the testing, then please pm me. I will switch the ROM back to the original data layout just for testing, so it will be easier to install. Why am I asking for a tester? The SIM I was using is not available to me any more, so I cannot test.
Also, @davidchuyaya I think your problem is only specific to you, since I was able to make calls. But, let's just see what the tester has to say first.
EDIT: I have gotten two testers. That will be enough. Thanks guys.
Any news?
Maybe you change ROM flash metod back? Before new layout? We can test it all. Or find same new bags.
Hello guys. This is an update.
It seems the performance of the ROM is laggy, so I am also trying to fix that.
I have fixed the RIL, so that should be working now. But I am still waiting for someone to test it.
Also, I am going to switch the ROM back to the normal data layout, because it seems people were having problems with the new layout.
I will try to release the new version in the next week or so.

Whell. When it comes in old layout i will test it. Cant install new TWRP. Win10x64 maybe. Not mater.
Upd. Having dealt with TWRP. I had to using PG32IMG and do it five times, but then it saw the SD card. I try out a new firmware. Very nice! It looks and wark very promising. Just like all the sound does not work when calling. No dial tone. But it turns calls other phones is true as there is no sound. Later gladly try new firmware version. Sory for translate by google translater.

Just got the update message!
I look on tmobile official page and there was no mention of oreo update of this phone. I looked at this webpage https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-35970
Can you post your screenshot?
It is indeed live. I have Oreo on one device, trying to go back to stock on my second device and re-root.
For my device (on 26.7), it says it's up to date. They're rolling the update in waves.
Woooahhh..... Can we get a flashable zip file for it?
Posted the oto zip in rom section
same here, nothing, and when checking on T-Mobile page, it says it is still on the testing phase=(

TmoNews reports it's being released in waves. I'm sure we'll get it over the next couple days, but I'm impatient and spoiled since I've been on iPhone for the last few years.

For the uninitiated and those who just forgot, is there a dead simple way to install the firmware on a stock T-Mobile Z2 Force using a microSD card, or does it need to be done through ADB? I've already downloaded both files (the 900MB really long filename and the 2.3GB zip file) from the other thread.
Well, I just received the Oreo Update on my TMO Moto Z2 Force and now no one can hear me during phone calls. Phone was working perfectly until Oreo installed and my phone rebooted. Going to try and wipe cache in Recovery to see it that does anything. I wouldn't be too anxious to update until a few peeps have chimed in.
Update: I was able to get my phone to work correctly, but only after completely disabling WiFi Calling. It seems something has broken in regards to WiFi calling. I have tried everything I can think of to get it to work with that option active. I don't use WiFi calling anyways, so no big deal for me, but still should not have happened to begin with.
To be honest, I haven't talked to anyone yet. But my stand by at night went from a 9 percent drain to about 3 percent. I haven't encountered any issues yet. I'm hoping it got rid of the audio hissing mine had sometimes and random audio anomalies in YouTube.
No fair
I have not rooted or anything. I had the update two days ago. Everything works fine with me. WiFi calling no problem.

Those were spin lock errors in the audio driver that were fixed in kernel upstream of 4.4.72-76 so it should have those fixes since it is 4.4.78.
It will still have some of the ipv6 latency spikes that randomly happen on web pages unless Moto cherry picked those net fixes from 4.4.97-106
The audio issues are somewhat solved. If the YouTube video is in the background, it's fine. But the audio hissing is still present if I'm watching the video. It's only in YouTube. I'm considering buying the Google usb c audio adapter to see if it's an issue with the proprietary moto audio protocol.

I assume no. But to find the answer i think you should post in the oreo thread with the question. Few people have flashed orea on their phones so they should be able to answer your question.
So funny story... I own two of these tmobile devices... one stock, one unlocked and rooted. My stock device is still on august security patch and isnt receiving ota updates at all. So I called tech support cuz something is obviously wrong. first, they couldn't comprehend that I was talking about ANY update and not just Oreo... I haven't received OCT or Nov patches even... Then, since they were stuck on oreo what was interesting as the tech support people at Tmobile say that the latest release for our phone is 7.1.1 August patch... which we all know is wrong for several reasons. Needless to say I am not impressed with their tech department...

My standby drain has been the opposite. It's a little worse for me that in 7.1. I went from about 1-2%/hr in standby to around 5%/hr in standby. I've been off the charger for a little over 3 hours today with just 9 minutes of SoT and I'm at 86%. I'm not complaining, it's not bad, but before it was spectacular. Now it's just average.
I'm usually on wifi, that is my usual use scenario. I get around, no joke about 6 hours plus sot. As for my audio issues are still prevalent and now my netflix is a black screen all the time. But overall I'm still happy with the update. If I turn on power saver my standby time tanks lol. I think it turns off my wifi and tries to hold on to my one or two signal bars. I'm debating unlocking bl and rooting, but I really haven't felt a need. I'm probably alot more forgiving of the z2 issues due to I picked it up at 375.
Got mine
