Super Circle Battery MOD - WORKING IN LEGEND PERFECTLY!

That's right...WE NOW HAVE, THANKS TO FIGHTSPIT, the "circle battery mod"
I advise you to do a Nandroid backup just in case. Do this at your own risk.
ROM / STATUS / ATTACHMENT TO USE - TKS TO(and don't forget this was given through Desire by Fightspit
- CleanEclair 1.5 - WORKING OK - file FRAMEWORK-RES_CE_1.5.ZIP - oanhof
- MDJ DROID L0.0 / Stock rooted rom- WORKING OK - file framewaor-res-MDJ_L0.0-signed.zip - Fightspit
Just Flash it as if it was a rom.zip update THROUGH CLOCKWORK RECOVERY.
The topic from Desire where the file came from
[MOD][20-July] Super Circle Battery with % | Version A (1.2) | Froyo/Eclair ROM Deodx
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724778
As it is obvious, thank you to the authors of the posts/threads!
Thanks to Flakz0r also for giving me the idea of testing this at my Legend!
ENJOY!
niiiiiceeee. thank you so much working on modaco rom.
edit: I dont know if its because of this, but now when marking a thread (like in gmail) theres a teal line in the middle. im keeping the mod anyway .
Good job !
Coming from HTC Desire forum, I just want to say to casca that he can start a "Super Circle Battery" mod thread for the Legend like I did for the Desire.
Anyway, I hope my mod can be available for a lot of phones
Anyone tested it with CM 5.0.8 ?
Sent from my HTC Legend using Tapatalk
great!! thanks!
it works with my plain R2 modaco rom
(probably other hacks will work with our legend, from desire or hero, but we don't know... let's hope our legend will benefit for some developer attention sooner or later)
err there's a problem... i can't do a search anymore in market, the phore reboots
help!
how do I perform a nand restore?
I made the nand backup before, now I select the backup file, but the device says "use nandroid-mobile.sh restore vua adb"...
well I did it but it doesn't work! the adb restore says "use the g1 keyboard"... damn what g1 keyboard?!!?
You are right guys...the phone sort of reboots when pressing search...
damn...
gonna try and check out why the issue...
If you can upload the file and i'll update the post with the fix
Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App
Is there a way to uninstall the current one until a fix for the reboot is ready.. or can anyone pm me a download link for Rom manager since I can't search market :-(
Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App
NOT working mate! it stays looping at the boot animation
Works great here.
Installed from Recovery menu.
?? i've installed also from the recovery menu...boot loop...
pushed through adb in recovery... boot loop...
don't get it...any ideas?
Same here.. Boot loop.... Flash ROM without wipe.. Now back to normal..
nandroid mate...nandroid
no need to flash it again... you could have made a nandroid backup first and restored after the failure... or used the 1st package from my 1st post to keep the battery mod with the minor gap of the search button...
My rom is CleanEclair 1.5 based on 2.03, if that has anything to say.
Super circle battery still works here..
so we have an mdj droid rom issue? Is it be possible?
UPDATED 1st post
mdj droid, still doesn't work...tried with the DJ droid version from desire...failure also.
stock rooted rom,ok...with the version you uploaded, correct?
Uhm ppl, could anybody tell me which mod should I use with CyanogenMod 5.08 rom? Tried both of them and had boot-loop twice.
So what? Nobody?

[ROM] 16/Nov 3.14.161.1 r1 - Stock Froyo ROM for the HTC Legend with Online Kitchen

I'm pleased to present my repack of the stock Froyo ROM for the HTC Legend! READ THIS WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU START! No, really, it contains everything you need to know.
Remember that if you use this ROM, you do so entirely at your own risk!!
About MoDaCo stock ROM repacks
Unlike a MCR (MoDaCo Custom ROM) release, a stock ROM repack is as close to the stock ROM as possible. Only root / Superuser and an insecure boot image are added. The benefits of the repack are providing a rollback option in update zip format as well as providing an online kitchen to remove parts that are not required.
A MCR release of this ROM is also available!
Requirements
In order to use this ROM on your device, you must have a custom recovery image installed (Clockwork Mod).
Features
Repack of the 3.14.161.1 (OTA) ROM
Pre-rooted with su and Superuser Permissions by ChainsDD
Insecure boot image (ro.secure=0)
As this is a repack of the Vodafone release, the Vodafone customisations have been removed and missing languages added.
Changelog
Please see the post below this one for the changes in each release.
Installation
To install this ROM:
Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your SD card
Restart your device in recovery mode
PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to your memory card
Upgrading
No wipe is explicitly required in order to use this ROM (unless you are coming from a 'Sense' ROM), however if you do encounter issues of any kind, it is recommended that you wipe your device and reproduce the issue before raising it here.
Downloads
This ROM is now available in the online kitchen - see the post below for details! In addition to the kitchen, a prebaked download is available.

Thanks
It's impossible to mention everyone who contributes to the Android community by name, but to everyone out there who does great work and shares it with us all - you have my gratitude and respect.
And finally...
Details on how to donate should you wish to do so are in download topic at MoDaCo.
Enjoy!

Changelog
16/Nov r1
Initial Release
Paul,
What languages were added to this release? Is any additional Vodafone branding removed vice what whitetigerdk was able to take out?
Thanks for all your hard work!
All the supported languages are available at startup.
I don't know what whitetigerdk removed, but AFAIK I removed everything (apps, splash, accounts etc.)
If you're on Vodafone you can optionally add it back in in the kitchen.
P
De-odex'd, MCR'd, optimised version is in progress.

Awesome. I'm on Afghan Wireless (AWCC), so I have no need for anything Vodafone.
I really only need English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and German keyboards, so I may go with this one.
Thanks again!
Yeah, all those languages are present.
P
Excellent!
This rom support app2sd?
Sent from my Legend using XDA App
Vodaphone boot logo removed and replaced with standard HTC one?
Does it contain the latest radio?
Also if I pick this one up, will it make my phone report as Vodaphone again, and thus subject to future Vodafone delays and future branding? (I know Vodafone got it out before HTC on this occasion).
Yes, Yes, the 'reported version' isn't really relevant as you'll apply whichever future ROM (if there are any!) that comes first no?
P
All we need now is an overclock version of the latest kernel and it would be complete.

[ROM][WIFI FIXED] HatyonRom V1.1 for Samsung Galaxy Y pro duos: GT-B5512

RATIONALE
I am new to android but not to linux as i have used ubuntu for three years now. the ability to customize ubuntu to my like has been the main reason i have stayed with that OS. so when i purchased my first 'smart' phone in late June, i set out to customize my phone. i discovered the power of custom roms but to my dismay and that of other galaxy y pro duos users, there were no custom roms available (Technoduos and ChobitDigitalis roms are no longer in active development) so i set out to build my own rom. many have asked me to share my work and that is what i am doing today. it may not be as flamboyant and well-adorned as chobitsDigitalis and Technoduos roms but at least it is more functional than the stock samsung rom.
ROM FEATURES:
Pre-rooted using Chainfire supersu method
Fully deodexed
Zipaligned
busybox
init.d scripts support
bash support
14 Lidroid status bar toggles
go Launcher (replaces touchwiz)
MIUI music player (replaces stock music player)
MIUI root file browser
Darktremor app to sd
international CSCs with multilingual support (B55120JVLD1)
sysrw/sysro support via terminal emulator
comes with android terminal emulator
operamini v7 in place of stock v5
build.prob tweaks - video and picture quality, battery tweak, network tweak
init.d scripts including journaling, autozipalign on reboot etc
added icon packs
modded status bar and notification area
[
compatible with Compact kernel by Nitubhaskar
COMPACT KERNEL:
Note the kernel is developed by xda senior member Nitubhaskar who has given me the permission to add his kernel to the rom
the thread for his kernel is here
the kernel is going through continuous development and only links to kernel versions fully tested by me and other GT-5512 users will be added to the downloads section of this thread
if you use this kernel, make sure to thank the Nitubhaskar (hit the thanks botton) on the original kernel thread
FEEDBACK
Lest i forget, i would appreciate it if after downloading this rom or the screenings, you took a little of your time to share your opinions about the rom with us all so that improvements could be made to the rom. in this regard, please post a reply telling me what changes you'd like to see in the rom.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
cooking of this rom was made possible as a result of the prior work of the following xda members:

go developers team - for golaucher ex
opera browser developers for operamini
Millan.sis - for adding lidroid toggles to the systemUI.apk eventhough he was writing his examinations
Lavadepa and Hell_lock and Nitubhaskar were very helpful through their pm timely feedback and advice
Myafik and zykoBR for permanent and temp wifi fix
the many other galaxy y pro duo susers who asked for a custom rom
TESTERS
Thanks to xbox1900, carlovn, exelzor and jigsawyam1 for testing and reporting on this rom. Thanks to everyone else who tested and replied but has not been mentioned here.
Installation instructions
Disclaimer:
you are installing this rom at your own risk. I am not responsible if you soft or hard brick your phone. i make know warranties - expressed or implied, regarding the use and safety of this rom. you are strongly advised to make a nandroid backup of you current rom before proceeding to install this rom.
Latest Stable Release HatyonRom v1.1
Before proceeding to install either the Rom or Compact kernel, make a nandroid backup using clockworkmod from here . this CWM recovery is developed by Millan.SIS so thank him on that thread.
This particular clockworkmod recovery is recommended as it backs up your current kernel (looking for source of this info) as part of nandroid backup
INSTALLING THE ROM
it is recommended that you use clockworkmod recovery to flash this rom
Copy the Rom to the root of your sdcard
Boot into Recovery by pressing volume up, menu and power bottons, release as soon as galaxy y pro duos logo appears
choose install update and flash clockworkmod recovery
Wipe data/factory reset (a MUST)
wipe cache partition (obligatory)
select advance option and wipe dalvic cache (optional but recommended)
unmount and mount the /data and /system partitions (you may format data and system partitions especially if flashing over ChobitDigitalis Rom)
reboot the phone and enter clockworkmod recovery again - credit to exelzor for this step which fixes system partition problems some people may have. Please thank him
choose install zip from from sdcard
select choose zip file option
Select HatyonRomV1.zip and confirm the selection
flash the rom and reboot
Starting for first time will be slow so wait and don't force stop.
Additional instructions:
once installation is complete and you are on your homescreen, type supersu and select the supersu program
when prompted to update the su binary, select continue (no internet required)
start file explorer (not the samsung app called myfiles!!)
hit the menu botton and browse down then enable the root explorer option
give it permanet root permissions when prompted by supersu
press back key and swipe your screen until you get to the screen having 'BROWSE', 'SDCARD' and 'FTP' at the top
beneath 'FTP' is a straight up-pointing arrow, tap on it to get the 'JUMPT TO' menu
scroll down to 'DATA' partion and select it
then select the app directory (folder)
once in app directory you will find operamini and android terminal app
select an app and press enter to install it
if prompted, open settings >> applications and enable installing software from unknown sources
instead connect to android market and install latest operamini and terminal emulator of your choice
FIXING TWO OPERA MINIS ISSUE
if you noticed you have two opera minis installed, uninstall the older version ie com.samsung.operamini-5.1.24639.apk (or a similar name) using titanium backup or link2sd
also remove this file /system/csc/comm_app/Operamini-5.1.24639.apk using root explorer or on terminal
1. type su + enter
2) type 'rm /system/csc/comm_app/Operamini-5.1.24639.apk' and hit enter
INSTALLING VER 1.1
Dowloadad the hatyon rom v1.1 update from the link on download section
place the zip file on root of your sdcard and reboot into recovery
enter clockworkmod recovery and choose to install zip from sdcard
select hatyon1.1.zip and confirm it
once install is complete, reboot your phone.
note it may take a little longer to boot for the first time
the same procedure applies to the other zip files on the download section of this thread
Please read post number 3 (next post) for info on how to fix wifi issue
INSTALLING THE KERNEL
after flashing rom, i recommend you use the phone for at least a minute before flashing kernel
to install the kernel, i recommend you follow the kernel thread link in my first post on this thread.
i will only give the names of the latest stable kernel versions in the download corner of this thread and maybe provide direct download links to the stable kernel versions (if that is ok with Nitubhaskar)

FAQS
Q: is the rom safe?
A: i'd like to say so, but i can't. i have tested it more than 20 times without problems but there is always the chance your phone will get bricked.
Q: will you continue development of the rom?
A: well, rom cooking is a demanding and tedious hobby. if there are many users, i will gladly dedicate my spare time to improving it based on user feed back. else, any modifications will just be for myself.
Q: i don't like go launcher, can you give me Touchwiz launcher (samsung default)?
A: Yes, if at least three people request it
Q: Are there any other launchers apart from go laucher?
A: yes, touchwiz for instance. we also have hololaucher, MIHome launcher- from popular MIUI rom and adw laucher.
Q: can you change this or that for me?
A: well, every rom chef knows that rom cooking is time consuming and one cannot always respond to individual queries. if many as for the same feature, i'd be glad to work on it. i will look into individual requests on the basis of their potential to benefit many others.
well, it doesn't hurt to hit thanks, does it?.

the captain will be upset when he saw this thread. you'd better ask him to move it to general section. any non-device specified development stuff should be placed on general section. that's why HCFroyd's rom stayed there.

sorry, i uploaded rom about 15hours ago. since the network is bad in my area, i opted to make sure the upload was successful before i post about my rom. i hadn't inserted the link earlier on but i edited the downloads section and inserted the link few minutes after posting.
Note: i experimented with kernels at the beginning of my cooking. i unpacked my stock kernel and rooted it using rom kitchen and added the boot.img to my rom. it worked alright but when you you restore clockworkmod nandroid backup this time, it will say restore is succesfful but you get boot loop which i believe are due to modified kernel since i could make as many CWM nandroid backup and restores as i wished.
with the modded kernel, only backups made after using the modded kernel worked.
if user response to the rom is positive, i will dedicate one of my reserved posts to your kernel. i will give a solution to how to overcome problem of not being able to restore old nandroid backups after flashing custom kernel. i will also describe how to add kernel to rom before flashing. so go on and develop your kernel. my screenshot will make it clear i am using your kernel!
the captain is friendly with us. it seems that he intentionally let them slipped. another mod mostly will move them directly on general section (lol)
anyway, since it against "the rule" IMO we should ask his opinion about it. personally I think these thread should be here but our captain might have different opinion about it. don't worry, our captain won't delete this thread or close it. you can peacefully discuss this matter with him and got the best resolution for all of us.

Just a word
I want to confirm to any B5512 user, arbayong rom + nitubhaskar kernel is the best available software update they can get.
Am using both now, and starting to love my phone (I think no one was happy with samsung soft!)
@ arbayong!
I prefer not to have flamboyant and well-adorned rom to account of stability and functionality!
Thanks to both members for making B5512 a value!
Hey guys,
We are trying to flash this ROM but isn't going so well.
We haven't tried flashing the kernel is this needed to make it boot?
After flashing it says flashing is succesfull but when booting it doesn 't go beyond the Samsung B5512 screen (not the boot animation)
Here is some info about the phone:

so if you have done according to instruction.. it should have worked.. so.. questions..
where did you get your cwm version? whats the file name of it?
you must do this..
Wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
if you did the dalvik cache clean.. try without doing it..
both data and system partition must be mounted.. just make sure of it in advanced mounting option.. it should show unmount /data unmount /system options..
then how much time did you wait after reboot.. its reecommended to wait atleast 10 mins.. to make sure you didnt abort the bootup process in a hurry..
and a tip: if it did got stuck.. you can use 3 combo buttons any time while using your device to get into recovery.. while booting or using phone or whenever stuck.. so no need to remove battery and all that.. just hold it until your device reboots and u see samsung logo then release..
for the kernel part.. it is not necessary to have that with this rom.. or any other rom in future for your device for that matter.. but.. by having that you can have more features that also goes with the rom.. you can test the new kernels i release in other thread.. but please read my posts before doing so.. because i want testers to have some knowledge of how to recover their device if it soft bricks.. usually it wont.. my odin related 3rd post or 4th one in my thread explains that..

Why should I continue updating?
Because, you know, its fun!
If youre looking for the DroidHD Utility, its been moved! Use this as a changelog only. To download the new utility, go to this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2241788
This is my own little utility I patched together after seeing that Matt hasn't released a Utility for the Droid Razr HD under 9.16.6.
The utility does a lot of neat stuff, which I will list below.
1) Fastboot Restore to Stock 4.1.2
-This program will restore your phone to Verizon's stock 4.1.2 Jelly Bean release. Only use this on XT925/926 devices.
2)Fastboot Restore to Stock 4.1.2(Don't Flash Recovery)*
-This program will restore your phone to Verizon's stock 4.1.2 Jelly Bean release, without flashing the stock recovery.. Only use this on XT925/926 devices.
3) Root your Phone (Motochopper Method)
-Does what it says on the tin. Roots your phone. It works on 4.1.2 devices and below!
4) Install Safestrap 3.05
-Installs Safestrap. Easy.
5) Install OTA Rootkeeper
-If you don't already have it, this program will install OTA Rootkeeper, incase a subsequent update gets rid of the motochopper root exploit.
6) Flash TWRP 2.5.0.0*
-Flashes TWRP Custom Recovery to your phone. REQUIRES UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER.
7) Install Titanium Backup
-This program installs Titanium Backup incase for whatever reason, you would rather install it from here as opposed to Google Play.
8) Unlock your Bootloader (Motopocalypse Method)
-This program unlocks your bootloader. BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS PROGRAM.
9) Check if your bootloader is unlocked*
-Just includes a step by step guide to check if your bootloader is unlocked. This feature will eventually go automated.
*Only available in 1.21
Downloads are located in the second post, along with their respective changelogs.
I only have 50GB in that Mega account, so only expect me to back up about 50 releases (If I even go that far!)
Its safe, trust me. If you don't, I'm attaching the "source code" for the original 1.0 .bat file.
I hope you try it, I spent three hours on it!
Cheers!

Anyone tried the Eclipse rom on the HD yet? I did some quick googling and didn't find any hd eclipse forums. Would love to know how it runs.

Yes ik that but didn't believe it cuz I didn't see a thread for it anywhere! Is this brand new? Is it a port or fully working?? Wat version? 4.1.2? So many questions ig I'll have to try it out in the morning..it wud be greatly appreciated if you'd start a thread so I don't have to download this huge tool just for the ROM...

I packed the ROM in the utility after doing some investigation, some people saying it was working for XT925/926. after attempting to install it in safe strap 3.05, I got an error saying "no OS was installed!". Due to my current situation, i am unable to test it in CWM or TWRP, but if I receive word that it does not work, them I will be removing it in an update to the package.

The Eclipse ROM you included appears to be for "toro" which is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
