Mr. Parkinson's Droid Razr HD Utility - RAZR HD Android Development

So Matt's Utility is now released (In fact it's at the bottom of my thread!)
Why should I continue updating?
Because, you know, its fun!
If youre looking for the DroidHD Utility, its been moved! Use this as a changelog only. To download the new utility, go to this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2241788
This is my own little utility I patched together after seeing that Matt hasn't released a Utility for the Droid Razr HD under 9.16.6.
The utility does a lot of neat stuff, which I will list below.
1) Fastboot Restore to Stock 4.1.2
-This program will restore your phone to Verizon's stock 4.1.2 Jelly Bean release. Only use this on XT925/926 devices.
2)Fastboot Restore to Stock 4.1.2(Don't Flash Recovery)*
-This program will restore your phone to Verizon's stock 4.1.2 Jelly Bean release, without flashing the stock recovery.. Only use this on XT925/926 devices.
3) Root your Phone (Motochopper Method)
-Does what it says on the tin. Roots your phone. It works on 4.1.2 devices and below!
4) Install Safestrap 3.05
-Installs Safestrap. Easy.
5) Install OTA Rootkeeper
-If you don't already have it, this program will install OTA Rootkeeper, incase a subsequent update gets rid of the motochopper root exploit.
6) Flash TWRP 2.5.0.0*
-Flashes TWRP Custom Recovery to your phone. REQUIRES UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER.
7) Install Titanium Backup
-This program installs Titanium Backup incase for whatever reason, you would rather install it from here as opposed to Google Play.
8) Unlock your Bootloader (Motopocalypse Method)
-This program unlocks your bootloader. BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS PROGRAM.
9) Check if your bootloader is unlocked*
-Just includes a step by step guide to check if your bootloader is unlocked. This feature will eventually go automated.
*Only available in 1.21
Downloads are located in the second post, along with their respective changelogs.
I only have 50GB in that Mega account, so only expect me to back up about 50 releases (If I even go that far!)
Its safe, trust me. If you don't, I'm attaching the "source code" for the original 1.0 .bat file.
I hope you try it, I spent three hours on it!
Cheers!

Yes ik that but didn't believe it cuz I didn't see a thread for it anywhere! Is this brand new? Is it a port or fully working?? Wat version? 4.1.2? So many questions ig I'll have to try it out in the morning..it wud be greatly appreciated if you'd start a thread so I don't have to download this huge tool just for the ROM...
Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using xda premium

I packed the ROM in the utility after doing some investigation, some people saying it was working for XT925/926. after attempting to install it in safe strap 3.05, I got an error saying "no OS was installed!". Due to my current situation, i am unable to test it in CWM or TWRP, but if I receive word that it does not work, them I will be removing it in an update to the package.

The Eclipse ROM you included appears to be for "toro" which is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Maybe a little de-rail for testing my Utility?

[ROM] GladiAtrix for 1.2.6 (Adeo v0.3)

GladiAtrix for OLYFR_U4_1.2.6 v1
(Replacing Adeo)
Since designgears has left the Atrix community, I'll be taking over development of the Adeo rom. I've updated it with a cleaner installer that incorporates aRoot into it. This is good for anyone who doesn't want all the extra elements of GingerBlur, or are running 1.2.6. This has everything Adeo v0.2 and aRoot had, with a streamlined install that should help eliminate some of the issues people were having with ADB not recognizing the phone.
This is only for AT&T phones running firmware version 1.2.6. If you have 1.5.2 please go here: GladiAtrix for 1.5.2
Come chat with us!
Features:
Standard Features
Deodexed
Reboot Option/Recovery
Removed power options header
Ad Blocking
Unknown Sources checkbox
Preferred install location (internal, sdcard, let system decide)
Optional Features
Root
Tethering APN
Sideloading
init.d support

Installation instructions:
Read the instructions all the way through before starting
Read them again and make sure you understand them
Download the file from the link below
Extract the files to any folder
Connect your phone with USB debugging, set USB mode to none (unsure if this is required, but I always do it to be safe)
Run INSTALL.bat
Follow the on-screen instructions for rooting, sideloading, tethering APN, and init.d support, they are all optional.
Confirm installation of the ROM
Wait PATIENTLY for it to finish and reboot your phone
Read disclaimer below

DISCLAIMER: I've only tested this on my device. I ran it twice to be sure, once with aRoot already run, once without, both on fresh SBF reflash. I am not responsible if this bricks you.

Thanks for taking over, Glad we still have some devs left.
Thanks. Good job.
Just flashed it works perfect. didnt see any problems
Just FYI, I forgot to remove the 'rem' statement from the first line of the batch file. Everything still works, but if you don't want to see all the stuff it's doing in the background (gibberish to most people), find the line:
Code:
rem @echo off
and change it to:
Code:
@echo off
it's the very first line of install.bat.

You're on 4.1.57, also called 1.57 or 1.5.7. All three of those are the same thing. This script will not work for you, as it's only for users on 4.1.26.
If you're already rooted, go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1019097
If you are NOT rooted, you will need to follow these directions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1016060
Let me know if you have any further questions. Read those threads first though, please, they're very informative.

[ROM][Dev:DXC] MIUI.us DefX 1.10.28

Official thread: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/8432-rommiuius-defx/
I recommend visiting the aforementioned thread for support. (As DXC won't be maintaining this one)
WARNING: I am not the developer/maintainer for this ROM, I simply reposted it here on XDA (with DXC's permission of course) for the good of the community.
CURRENT STATUS: LINK DOWN, UPDATING
Can be downloaded via ROM Manager.
This is for the DROID X on the GINGERBREAD KERNEL.
This is MIUI 1.10.28, created from MIUI.us Defy Base merged with DX essential.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the custom bootmenu, you will not be able to get to CWM recovery through ROM Manager. The reboot menu's CWM recovery option will work perfectly though. Also, in the custom bootmenu, 2nd-boot mode doesn't work yet, but I plan to give you a boot manager type option with it, where you can swap ROMs.
How to reenable rom manager for the current session only:
In Terminal Emulator (free from the market), type:
Code:
su
cat.jpg
Then you can use Rom Manager normally and it will work until your next reboot into MIUI.
Installation Instructions:
1) SBF to .602 unless you're already on MIUI 1.10.7 or later
2) Flash Rom
3) Wipe Cache
4) Re-enable root permissions in the superuser app.
5) Do not restore backups made before version 1.10.7.

It can be flashed over .605, but it is recommended to flash over .602.
You probably won't experience any problems if you flash it over .605.
The rom just can be flashed on anything earlier than .602.

I was on MIUI for about 2 weeks and I was having a few problems.
The lock screen would freeze half the time and I would have to lock/unlock the screen to get to my home menu.
The market would not load most of the time and I had to install apps through my PC and sending them to my Droid X.
The screen would freeze on and I would have to do a battery pull.
I flashed back to .602 and all these problems are gone.
So is anyone having problems with MIUI like I am?
I love the rom, except for these bugs.

[ROM][GT-P7100] Unofficial Android 4.04 CM9 (ICS Preview) (02/05/2012)

I am please to announce an unofficial build of Android 4.04 (CM9), Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) for the Galaxy Tablet 10.1v (the forgotten one), GT-P7100.
PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS
You do this at you own risk. I cannot be held responsible if you brake something.
This is an alpha build, what does that mean?
It is not feature complete.
It will contain bugs.
It will not have everything working 100%, do not complain about something is not working.
What is not working:
Camera
Tether
Battery usage data
When trying to unlock tablet the touch screen sometimes does not respond. When you press lock (power) it just dims screen. Let the tab go to sleep itself and try it again. Keep doing until it works, it does sometimes take a while to get back, or force hard reboot.
Screens flashes to black when you login to tab
If you have flashed a 7500 modem to your TAB the signal strength will not work correctly. (working on a fix, I hope)
What is working:
3g
Wifi
HQ Youtube video’s
Android
Install instructions:
You need root
Backup your current tablet via CWM/Recovery
Copy files onto your tab.
You need to install a new recovery.img via fastboot , you should know how to get into bootloader to do fastboot by now, if not see instructions above for root: fastboot flash recovery /path/to/recovery.img
Reboot into recovery,
Wipe/Data reset (very important)
Wipe Cache
Flash ROM,
Flash GAPPS.
Reboot
Enjoy!

Hi isi,
First of all thank you for bringing ICS to the 10.1V.
Before i flash it (wich i surely will) ive got a question....
IF for any reason i wanted to go back to a 3.2 ROM, do i get any problems
with (just a guess) for example bootloaders or something like that.
or is it as simple as flashing stock rom (chainfire's).
thanks again......its gonna be late tonight
edit: what do you mean by ïnstall NEW recovery"...im running latest cwm from pershoot's blog.
is that ok or do i have to flas another?

Yes, you can go back to 3.2 if you follow the the instructions in the 3.2 thread.

Update did not work for me ?
Update starts without issue, but the last step appears to be updating remaining files...or something of that nature
At that point - the recovery details appear above the script, and just sits there. When I reboot system I get the Galaxy tab screen - then a blank screen, and nothing else
I was able to get back into download mode - successfully returned to stock rom(as indicated in your instructions).
I've done this three times - no luck

Could this be due to the file being broken into two zip files? There's a part 1 and part 2, and the op doesn't address how to flash like that. Do we flash both files or do we need to unzip each file, combine, and repackage for flashing?

Where because I cant find them.
Also the download is dead. Mediafire doesn't like multi part files. Why don't you put the file back together into one so it can be flashed. If you need some where to dump a single file I will let you use a spot on my dropbox.
Aren't these the same OTA files for the p3113 that have been available since September on SamFirmware.com?

It does look like it to me. There are even flashable ROMs of the latest 4.1.1 (P3113UECLI4)... like this [ROM][9/18][GT-P31XX][JB][4.1.1]Stock_Rooted_Deodex_Zipalign.
Isn't the version that Romswell is built from come from the U.K. version or something like that?
Could this be a U.S version? What else could change that would make this different?
stupid question?
Since tis is a stock rom do I need to root my tablet prior to flash it?

Who said they weren't?....Just mirroring files and having them in one easy to access spot! If you don't have something of VALUE to add to a post....DON'T POST!

[Tools] Myth Tools for Atrix HD - Update v1.3 (Final version)

Hi guys,
Just want to inform that I will not continue to support this tool anymore since I just bought a new phone due to the requirement of my work.
Thank you all for using and supporting me in making this app.

-----------------------------------------------------
WARNING: BESURE YOU ARE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER BEFORE FLASHING/DOWNGRADING FIRMWARE!
It's nearly 11 months since the last update v1.2. Now I will introduce the new version of Myth Tools with a big improvement.
Thanks to all your comments which helps me to complete the features of Myth Tools. All feedbacks are always welcome.
Please read instruction carefully before using. Thank you.
BR,
DK

If you stucks after flashing back to stock rom from custom rom, maybe this method should help you to fix it:
Credit for skeevydude
The fix is simple. Boot into Philz, format the internal sd, set the internal sd mount point to /data/media, reboot, format it again, and done. I'm assuming you don't keep anything important on the internal sd...
The issue is multiuser support in 4.2+ roms screws with our 4.1 stock roms. 4.2+ uses /data/media/0 for the main user's "internal sd" then /data/media/1 then /data/media/2 and so on and so forth for each additional user. You don't have to format, but if you were on Carbon, only changed the mount point, flashed to stock, then later down the line you install CM or Slim, your crap from Carbon will still be there under /data/media/0 and could cause issues with the newer rom.
EDIT:
A format of /data might fix this too, but you'll still have to check and/or change the mount point. The internal sd is stored on /data.

This tool is created by The Myth Team for Motorola Atrix HD
All comments to help improving tools are always welcome!
-----------------------------------------------------------
MAIN PARTS:
1. Installer ADB/FASTBOOT/APKTOOL for AHD (Use for parts below and further modding)
2. Flashing Tools for stock firmwares (compatible with ICS/JB of AT&T, BELL and Mexico AHD;
include options for installing CWM recovery, no needs to care about editing xml any more, just put firmware into our tools and it will do for you)
3. Flashing Recovery
4. Rooting Tools (Motochopper - By Dan Rosenberg; it's combined here to bring the convinience for users after
installing stock firmwares)
5. Unlocking Bootloader Tools (Motopocalypse - By Dan Rosenberg; it's combined here with the same target as
rooting tools but it's necesary for users who want to flash other carrier's firmwares on their AHD)
6. Dowload Motorola USB Driver (Lastest driver)
7. Lockscreen Mod
8. Mod for ADBD Insecure
EXTRA PARTS:
4 Quick reboot Options
------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO USE:
1. For the installer, just select option and it will open a new window, select Install button and it will install adb/fastboot/apktool to your windows. If your windows dont allow to install (due to UAC control), u can select installer in /tools folder and run it under administration mode. With this installer, u dont need sdk-platform anymore to use adb or fastboot. Just need to have JDK and it will run normally.
2. To flash stock firmware, you only have to download stock firmware (*.zip file) and put it in 'firmware' folder then run our tools. Follow its instructions and options to finish the flash process. Dont need to edit xml files and No more worries about failure with RSDLite. We have tested all firmwares of AHD (ICS 4.0.4, JB 4.1.1, 4.1.2 of Bell, AT&T, Mexico Retail) with our tools and they worked.
3. Option allows users to install cwm recovery or custom recovery (it's up to users). To flash custom recovery, you can place recovery image (*.img) to 'recovery folder and run the tools.
4,5. This is popular and famous tools by Dan Rosenberg. I think I dont need to explain again
6. This is link for Driver on Motorola site. Just in case you miss it or need to install again.
7. It provides a various theme for lockscreen of stock firmware by modding framework
8. It will mod automatically the boot.img to allow the true adb root with adb command (eg. "adb remount" to full read-write system..). It mainly is useful for stock firmware while custom rom always has.

Which ICS did u flash? Bell or ATT? Do u notice any error during flash process ?, if yes, plz post screenshot here or type it here.
You can try to go back to JB while I figure out what happened to you. Plz provide information asap then I can help u.
Edit 1: I have tried to flash Bell ICS and it booted normally. Now I will try ATT ICS again =.='
Here is screenshot of my phone on Bell ICS
Edit 2: Flashed ATT ICS again and it also booted. I think you should try to flash firmware again or download firmware again then flash. If you still meet problem after trying again, plz let me know. I'm happy to help you
