Why haven't we seen any roms for nexus one such as droid x or galaxy s orany other/? I remember when I had my g1 there was alot??

There is an issue with the app and widget. If you attach a picture using the camera method, once returning from taking the picture you get a force close of the camera.
I had a Nexus One before getting the Nexus S. My N1 did not have a notepad or memo app.

The app and widget came in one of the more recent n1 big fix updates, so it was easy to miss (FRG83).
If you did not have it, your rom was either not stock n1, was stripped from your rom by the dev, or you hadn't updated.

Simply not true. The memo widget is from a LG dump. Don't know where the notepad app is from but it ain't from any stock N1 build, that's for sure.
Yeah. Stock Android does NOT have any Memo/Notepad app, so whatever these widget/apks you have, they're NOT from Google's vanilla Android AOSP.
My apologies to all. I could have sworn it was from stock - seems the "stock" rooted rom I was using since I got my nexus one must have had this added as an extra. Was just trying to contribute something useful.

Is it possible to port samsung galaxy s2 (touchwiz 4.0) to htc aria??
I have looked in many places and have found some 'themes' but I would like an actual rom.
There is a port of the entire touchwiz 4 launcher here on xda.

Yeah I have seen that but:
1. Doesn't work on the aria
2. I was looking for a rom that was exactly the same as samsung galaxy s2 - like same applications, same home screen, same lock screen etc...

The launcher wasn't specifically made for htc aria - thats why it didn't work.
but a rom has to be made specifically for ONE phone so i was wondering if someone had made one?

I got the touchwiz ux launcher (phone) to install and work. It looks ridiculous cuz its the phone version but it means the Samsung tab launcher should install with the tw.lib files. I'll try to get the tab version.

Multi window is all that comes to mind, not sure if its worth giving up vanilla for. To each is own.

That will not haopen is it is extremely hard to port real touchwiz...shadowslayer is a fake touchwiz port...still a great port vut its not the real deal, its aoso themed to look like touchwiz and with all the samsung apps thay dont have dependencies
A real touchwiz port requires edits to the ramdisk/kernel using touchwiz frameworks libs and bins and what not...it gets really technical...I tried to port a real touchwiz rom a while back and never even got to the boot animation

I tried to port a samsung rom to Sensation and i got to boot animation. It IS possible many other dev's couldnt even get to bootloader i just chucked a few files together and i was VERY shocked it got to the boot animation. if you like i can replicate exactly what i did so you can test it.
I have one of the CM kitkat ROM'S and it has a 4×6 app drawer. Any way to make the icons bigger and 4×5 just like the nexus 5? Thanks.
