Does anybody have a spare or know where I can buy the bottom part of the middle piece of the housing? It's supposed to be the phone antenna and none of the housings online seem to have it with it.
It's labeled 37H00086-00M-A.

Hi,
I dropped my XDA 1 the other day and the grey antenna came off. I clipped it back on but since then reception has been very lousy.
I spoke to someone about it and they said there was a small metal stubb antenna that goes up inside the grey plastic antenna cover (that the stylus goes in) that I must have lost / broken off when i dropped it.
My question is.. is that right?- and if so then I have lost the small round metal stubb antenna and need a new one. Is there somewhere I can buy one online? O2 Support in Australia is next to non existant.

Yep there is a metal spring inside the xda aerial made of a copper, I had to remove the aerial to get a half a stylus that got caught inside the XDA
Janos, I have an antenna but you are a loooooong way from me.
Thanks bill received the antenna today - Just fitted it - havent tested it yet as battery is flat - sure it will be fine.

OK. So I dropped it and the the black piece for the antenna and where the stylus goes broke off, and I lost it....the case is also super scratched all over and a small piece broke off at the bottom where the SD card plugs in....
so I need..

Antenna plastic piece??? (I have the sping thats inside)
Also, is there some type of like antenna upgrade or something? to get better reception? my reception is crap....

Its such a small and unessential part, I doubt you'll find a supplier unless you can find who supplies it to HTC. If you want to semi-permanetly cover the hole to keep dust out, put a small piece of clear tape over it. Mine's been off for a year now w/o a problem (I have a car antenna, but rarely use it).

ordered a digitizer with bezel and all that stuff pre assembled from some phone seller in china (only one on the net selling the assembly). the chassis is different tho. I cant fit the black box that the signal wire attaches to in the new chassis.
anyone else run into this problem. do I need to post a pick to help you guys help me?

Are you sure you didn't order parts for the Z1? The Z1 and the Z1s are different in size etc
