V1615 unlocking - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hi there, I have the V1615 (Kaiser) and I have locked myself out of it. I put the 4 digit lock code on just as a stuff you to my very suspicious ex girlfriend and forgotten what the code is. I put the 4 digit code on as opposed to the strong alphanumeric code option it has because I thought I would remember it. I would've remembered it if I didn't change it every other day. Is there anyway of getting this lock off or hard resetting to remove the code? The discs I got with the phone don't seem to be much help.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you for your help.

Lol, 2 choices:
1. try a few possible code combos
2. Hard reset; see image
When setting up after hard reset I would suggest leaving your GF's details out of your address book ;-)

Thank you very very much for that. It has worked and is a massive help.

HP iPAQ hw6515 SIMLOCK counter reset?

Hi everyone,
I have an hw6515a I bought on eBay, it was sold as "Unlocked", but when I received it, it was locked.
The problem is that I have the unlock code but cannot put it in. The phone has 7 tries on the SIMLOCK.
Does anyone know or can explain how to reset the SIMLOCK counter?
Ive hard reset the phone. I loaded Spanish ROM v1.29, downloaded to 1.1 and the SIMLOCK is still on 7 tries.
Thanks

Simlock counter solution...
Hi all again,
After messing around very much with my iPAQ, downgrading the rom to version 1.06(English), back up to 1.29 (spanish), down to 1.24(English), and vice versa. I was not able to make the simlock counter reset (go back to 0).
I was very blue, because I bought 3 iPaq (two hw6515 and one 6315), the others were for my cousin and his brother-in-law.
The solution was very simple:
1.- I bought a sim unlock code on eBay ($us 15), and just in case bought from another seller (Both sellers gave me the exact unlock code). Anyway my phone company wanted to charge me $us 110 for each phone.
2.- Without the sim card in the phone I deactivated the auto power off and made the LCD light turn off after 5 mins when plugged to AC.
3.- I left my sim hard in the iPaq overnight and plugged to the charger.
4.- Left the phone on all night.
When I woke up early in the morning, the OK/Accept button was activated.
I put in the unlock code and.... walaaaa
Now will do the same to the other.
I hope this can help others with the same problem.

A little confusion
Hi Kelas,
I bugged Cingular/ATT to the point where they have issued me an unlock code. I, at some point, had gotten a warranty replacement unit from cingular. So when I put a t-mobile card in, it right away said, tried 5 times, wait for timeout.
Anyways, my question is regarding your method. Between steps 2 & 3, you let the phone die, right?

put a foreign sim card in your phone and turn on the phone. when the it power all the way up with the screen where it ask for enter code but you can't click on OK button. JUST leave it overnight with charger plug in just in case yur battery goes down and the ok button should be appear again.

Thanks a lot for the info. I will try it out as soon as I can get hold of a non-ATT SIM card.
Asked "SUPER EASY" .. To see who knows something
(From Spain) I have a 6915 (in Spanish) Movistar company, recently released, and they want to send to a business partner in France.
I wanted to do two things, unlock, and change the ROM to the French.
I asked the unlock code for about € 25, and took to get there, I proceed with the ROM and flasee, with a French Orange ROM.
The result was a perfect change of the French language.
I have reached the code. And now they have sold the code is not valid. Get the message (in french) code rejected.
Questions:
Could it be that by changing the ROM now is not the same code that unlocked when it was in Spanish?
How many attempts have before lock? (I stopped and took 2)
How flash, it resets the number of attempts to unlock?
That's it ... To see if there is any expert to help
And pardon my English ...

O2 Stellar (AKA KAiser/TyTynII) Emergency Calls Only

Hi guys. It's been a while
I have a Stellar that is displaying a white screen with blue buttons, like a phone dialler, and is prompting for a password to unlock. I have seen this once before on another Stellar but it's been so long I've forgotten what to do. Does anyone have any ideas how to get round this or get rid of it without doing a hard reset?
I don't really want to lose the data as it's not my device. If I have to rebuild I will but wondered if there was a quick fix for this?
Basically I can reset or switch off and it goes through the O2 splash and then the WM splash too....then this dreaded bloody screen pops up! I initially thought it was an issue with the SIM so I rang O2 and had them check it, all is OK that end.
I've stuck another SIM in and it still does it, so I'm sort of thinking it's hardware? I've also tried various combos of numbers to try and bypass this screen. All I can do is ring 999 which is not clever or funny.
So, I'm all ears. Cheers guys!
Oh, and if you need to know, it's the standard O2 ROM over which we apply our company build using spbclone. Don't know the version but it's not running Home Brew as such - our clone is basically tweaked user settings and GPRS settings
I think the first thing you need to do is to unlock your phone. Search here or they are many sites that will offer you a good deal to do that.
Have you try a hard reset? just to double check. If you see the unlocking # prompt your screen again you will need to unlock the phone.
Unfortunately unlocking is not an option. As no-one else has posted suggestions, and you guys were my best bet, it would appear I'm going to have to re-image it. Poo.

[Q] Forgot pattern lock code / Can't go into Recovery/Download Mode

After hours of googling I decided to write this thread.
I'm working as a phone technician and having a problem with Samsung i9000 with a pattern lock on it.
Customer doesn't know pattern and his google account.
Also on this handset the 3 button trick to get into Recovery/Download mode is disabled.
I have tried many methods of trying to get into recovery mode
-holding the 3 buttons the entire time (this just resets the phone and brings back to the I9000 screen)
-just letting go of the power (boots into the phones OS)
-letting the phone reset once by holding all 3 buttons down then releasing only the power (boots into OS)
-letting all 3 buttons go (boots into OS)
I've tried download mode too just to see if it works and it doesn't.
I already find out that there is a fix i have to install the Download/Recovery Mode fix (3 Button Disabled SPL fix), but to do that in phone settings usb debugging have to be selected which I can't do because of pattern lock.
Also my computer cannot detect phone in device manager after connecting.
There is a mass storage device option selected in connectivity. Phone just keep charging on usb cable.
Any ideas ??
The costumer should show papers that confirms that the phone is owned by the costumer, then, as a phone technician, you should know how to re-flash the device when you face such problem, if you don't know how to fix that as a phone technician then send it to Samsung Care Center along with the phone papers to be fixed. You should not be posting at a forum asking about this when you know the guide lines of your work.

Actually never faced that handset with pattern lock + 3 buttons disabled + mass storage and bluetooth on.
I tried to describe my problem as best I can so it will be easier to find a solution.
Hi
You can build a jig that allows you force download mode.the method to do so is on xda just search for it,or you can buy the jig from ebay for about £5.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App

Indeed he should show you the papers, that's way too many things to suddenly not know or forget.
A Jig should help you getting into download mode though.
Can anyone advise me if it is feasible to disable/ enable (by purpose) entering into Download mode/ factory reset/ CWM? This is a good way to protect our devices.
if indeed the phone is his , build a jig and enter with it in download mode and flash a rom with repartition .
OK, thanks for anwsers lads, I will try to do it by JIG and i will post a result.
For users looking what the JIG is and how to build one or buy go into this thread:

hhmmm,
My spidey senses detect a stolen phone!
How the hell can you forget both your pattern AND google account LOL.
Ask him for the paper work for the device... I bet you never see him again.
UNLESS!!!! You stole the phone and made up a story to try and get an answer on how to unlock it

definately a stolen phone becuase you can go onto google with your cmputer and get your account info mailed to you.. i assume he/she remembers his google email?
Yep, it might be a stolen phone, who knows.
But stolen phones are usually barred, there is no signal on them. As i checked there is a signal on o2 and vodafone.
I once stupidly changed my unlock pattern when i was half asleep and was able to move the security pane out of the way by trying to make an emergency call, this gave me VERY limited access to some menus but you might be able to fix it this way.

What about handling stolen goods?
Hmmmm sorry ruthles but im thinking more and more that YOU stole this phone...
Why is there no sim inserted into the device on the picture you posted in post 1?
Why would you be trying different sim cards in the phone? That has nothing to do with the pattern lock... If what you say is true you should know that as part of your profession.
I also dont think that some one in your position would resort to creating an account on XDA forums just to ask this question.
This all seems very odd...

there would be no sim in the first as most people take there sim out if they put it in for repairs. trying different sims would indicate whether it is imei locked. the third question is a bit weird though.

agree...couldnt possibly be a phone technician as this problem is too easily fixable...
a real technician should have already known about jigs and in my opinion, should have already had an xda account...
all arrows point to stolen phone...
something's really fishy here
hehe too bad the previous owner didnt install Prey or locking apps
or wait, maybe he did

HELP, I can't change my PIN

I have a galaxy s5 (I don't know if that's the same as the mini) and I recently updated it to marshmellow. I had a fingerprint lock on it and my Mom needed to use it for a few days so I changed my password to a pin that I now can't remember. The thing that I'm confused about is that my phone has a swipe to unlock right now but if I try to change it to a fingerprint password it requires a pin that i don't know. So the problem that i need help solvong is resetting my pin somehow so i can change my lockscreen lock.I have been trying to get it to work all day and Im hoping that someone can help me, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Pattern bypass

Hi,
I've got an old HTC One Mini 2 phone which I'd like to check before recycling but I'm struggling to remember the pattern.
I've read loads about recovering like typing loads of #'s into the emergency dialer but none of them seem to work. The phone has S on and ADB isn't enabled, are there any solutions I can try?
Thanks in advance,
Jim
Probably not going to happen. If you backed up the data when you were using just write off.
If you relax and give it a few days the imprinted pattern will probably come to you as you used it hundreds if not thousands of times; it's still in your memory.
I learned long ago that physical possession is the best security. Don't be lazy about this, do it 24/7 like it's your right hand.
Passwords don't care who they lock out, worse a bios or drive failure with password encryption can make accessing -your- data exponentially more difficult if not impossible.
After many months I managed to acquire a Xpin Clip with pattern adapter which took just over a week to crack the 9 point pattern.
The moral of the story is, don't forget your pattern as there are just over 140k possible combinations which could take months to brute force
