Clear-Coat Alternative - 7 Mozart Accessories

Hey all... Im wondering if anyone happens to know of a clear-coat screen protector alternative for the Mozart... Ive used clear-coat on my last few phones and really like it but they still havnt made protector for the Mozart... Im looking for a similar protector with preference to using the spray solution for application as i find this way much easier to align it properly and get no air bubbles etc... Ive looked up ghost armour and bodygaurdz but these brands also seem to ignore the Mozart Any suggestions be much appreciated...
Cheers

Screen protector

There came a screen protector with my Touch Dual, which works very well, i do not see any difference in using the protector or using the device without it. So anybody out there, who knows, where to get this specific protector?
Thanks in advance.
we
PS It is adhesive, which i like more than sticking it to the screen and never being able to remove it again
the one that came with mine is ok but I messed up by having some dust underneath so I've ordered a new one from here: http://www.martinfields.co.uk/dis_product.asp?model=HTC_DualTouch&modeln=Touch Dual&prod_type=screen
I've always used Martin Fields screen protectors, IMHO they're the best! plus they're ultra clear once you put them properly you can't tell

In all my excitement when I got the Touch Dual more than two weeks ago I completely overlooked the screen protector in the box Found it but still not applied it yet
Brando already delivers touch dual protectors too.
Screnn Protector Washable?
Hi..
Do you know if original screnn protector is Whashable?
Thanks
The orig. protector rocks.
I bought some from ebay and already dropped them into garbage.
Now i ordered one from martinfields and i hope this one works better for me ...
Any other experience?
i got 3 really cheap ones off ebay which are fantastic.
they're in 3 sections, you take one side off to reveal the sticky side then put it on the screen then pull the other side off to reveal the front face of the cover.
really good.

I bought this as spare:

so is the martin fields one the best? i applied the original one wrong and there is dust underneath it and need a new screen protector

I don't know whether it's the best or not, but I had the same problem that you do.
I bought the protector from martinfields based on the recommendations in this thread, and must say that I like it better than the original one.
It is thinner, so it seems like you need less pressure to make the screen react when you press it.
I've only had it for a day, so I really can't say how durable it is...

watch their demo videos. it's made from strong stuff!
Are the Martin Fields and Invisible Shields self adhesive?
I don't have to glue them on do I hehe
The one that came with mine I put it on properly but then I panicked slightly and thought "How do I get it back off!" so peeled one side up just to see if it would come off, then of course got all dust and crap under the edge so it looks skanky now thus want a new one.
I only managed to do that because it was slightly misaligned and a bit overlapped at the side of the screen though not enough to notice unless you looked very closely. So how do you get them off if they are put on perfectly? I know you could use a knife but you could scratch the screen and that defeats the purpose

Don't know about Martin Fields.
Go to link in above post to see Invisible Shield. If I remember correctly, they tell you how to do things on their site. I don't have one for the niki so can't tell you for sure, but have one on my ipod and it took awhile to get on, but well worth it.
Also, their customer support is very very good.

Use scotch tape. Just stick it on the face of the screen protector and lift. Simple as that.
Btw, I've recently swapped out my screen protector because I somehow got a scratch on it. Anyway, the sales recommended one that was matte finished (as oppose to glossy like most screen protectors). I have to say, it is so much better than the traditional glossy ones. The great part is the texture. It is so much smoother than regular ones. Great for sliding your finger across using Touchflo.
However, it does diminish your off-axis visual quality. But i suppose that doesn't really matter since you don't look at your screen off-axis much anyway. It may even be a plus since you might not want the person next to you to see what you're looking at...

That's a good idea! I never thought of that, I did see something on a website about using something sticky to remove it but I was thinking of blutak or something like that and thinking that it wouldn't work very well!
A bit of grit got on my screen and I scratched the protector with my stylus the other day, another reason to get a new one, but also a good reason for leaving the current one on!
Where do you get the matte ones from?

I'm in Hong Kong so I just picked it up from one of many independently owned techy shops. I didn't pay attention to what brand it was (i basically just paid the guy and he opened it up and stuck it on for me). The next time i head back there, i'll take note of the brand.
Invisible Shield
Just installed the I.S. (bought on ebay) on my Niki...
It's been a pain in the neck to install...
It's really hard to prevent small bubbles on the surfaces...
Maybe on a white ipod has a better look but on the Niki black finish you'll see them..they're really really small but sometimes in a large number: the overall effect is as a dirty and scratched Niki...
Bigger ones could rise passing from the front/back to the lateral sides, in particular near the big 4 rounds.
The hole for the hands-free speaker was totally missing!
When in hand you can feel the sharp edges corresponding to its thickness ...
The original protector is a little bit "softer"
But...
I can have it in my pocket with no additional thickness...
Right now I was using the silicon case, but it seemed that I was calling with a tv remote control...
I was just gonna buy an Invisible Shield *Thinks*
Thanks for the info ohyeahar I was thinking of going for the Invisible Shield but now might just go for a screen protector and some sort of leather case-age. Dunno

Which is the best screen protector for Xperia?

Hello guys, i've bought 2 screen protectors for my Xperia but both are crappy! Within the first day the screen protectors are full of scratches by the use of the stick.
Which one should i buy so i won't have the scratches issue?
Cheers,
Bill
Been there too. The Boxwave Cleartouch screen protector is awesome, and most likely the best. Next would be Martin Fields.
Goto http://www.boxwave.com/products/cleartouchcrystal/cleartouch-crystal-screen-protector-sony-ericsson-xperia-x1_3351.htm
Just don't buy reflective screen protectors. These scratch bad.
Thanks you guys, 99% i will buy the Boxwave ones. I hope they will send to Greece.
the martin fields one is hella sweet
In 3 days, my Martin fields is horrible ! TOTALLY full of scratches !
i've not used those brands before but read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3843133#post3843133
also touch response is no different with clear-coat fitted
I'd ratha cover my SEX1 baby and prevent her from getting "knocked up"

Does the xperia screen have scratch resistant technology?
i doubt it very much not many resistive touch screens do
I have the martin fields too and it scratches and smudges really easily, anyone have any suggestions for one that doesn't smudge? thats what I'm looking for the most. Anyone tried the boxwave antiglare?

Ι have ordered the Boxwave ones, they've been sent at 26/05, as soon as i've got them here in Greece i will let you know.
I should have bought these at the beginning. There is no point doing it now. I already scratched it badly .
Today received the Boxwave ClearTouch Crystal. Hope till the night will share the appropriate feedbach.
i think clear screen protectors don't have any smudge resistance, only the antiglare ones do. Can anyone verify?
the clear coat protector smudges slightly but is awesome scratch protection! and doesn't scratch itself

Ghost Armor...

Has anyone tried ghost armor for their HD2?
I know Aaron (The Owner of Ghost-Armor) and he did mine... Kit is awesome! Highly recommend
i have it on mine.. perfect.. as far as usability goes... it doesn't cover the full screen... but i suppose that it so that the "sensor" wont get affected.... but yea.. great screen protector.. i recommend it above any "do it yourself" or cut outs theyt sell at the stores..
i recently got mine and my wife's done on our HD2. Great stuff, Great investment for these phones... lifetime warrenty

Website or pics please?

I see they have a kit for the TMO HD2...
Can anyone comment as to the difficulty of applying this to your phone and if it provides any protection for the camera outcropping on the back of the HD2?
Thanks.
its ok to apply i guess .
i didnt use it yet but im in a firm wich makes die cuts for industrial powder coating etc, and that kind of material is good to apply when you take your time and have a good cut of the material .
so it will be the same for the ghost armor stuff.
they use the same material as invisible shield does .
I've never used ghost armor or anything like that, although I have never had a touch phone . Looking at the Ghost Armor website, is it worth getting the HD2 "full body kit"? Or is it more practical to just get the screen cover?

Anyone know of a Realook-like screen protector?

I was lucky enough to get a Realook screen protector for my Vibrant. Man those things rock. I have been looking to get a Realook SP for my Nexus S, too, but for some reason Realook has yet to release one, even though the phone has been out for two months. I am sick of waiting. Anyone know of any Realook-like screen protectors? That is to say, glass-like feeling and dry application? Preferably a two-pack since it is very easy to get dust under dry-application ones and it would be nice to have a backup.
clarivue ultra clear should be similar. my friends couldn't even tell it was there.
I bought these, works great and I can't even see if it's there, I bought 3 but perfectionist as I am I failed with them, bought another 4...

Already got a 5-pack of those for $1.99 (The 5-pack is available on Amazon, sold under the name of EZ Guard, but the product is the exact same as Xtreme Guard). Those SPs have that "orange peel" feeling, not the glass texture similar to Realook.
Don't mean to thread-jack but my question is kind of related..
What wet-application screen protector feels the "smoothest" like the original glass? I know ZAGG is very rubbery but I've heard Ghost Armor is smoother... was wondering which was the smoothest out of ZAGG, Ghost Armor, BSE, Skinomi, etc.
Yeah but what do you expect? The speaker and camera are up there. It is amazingly clear and smooth. However, it scratches very easily.

Last one of theirs I tried was rubbery. Cant say for sure. It might have to cure or harden. If you find it rubbery try waiting 24hrs or so. Skinomi was exactly the same. Too expensive. Im using a fosmon and its cheap but nothing fancy. There's probably better ones. Check reviews. The screen is not really fragile. Seems to last. Try to keep the soap out of the edges etc if you use those kind.
