Check after that and see this big update around 130mb. I don't have enough megs for that, and no wi-fi around to try it.
And this setup doesn't find the phone.

Yup, everything is correct. Now you can contact HTC support and blame them for releasing non-rooted RUU (ROM Update Utility)

can you elaborate, please. is it better in phone reception, call clarity, GPS performance, etc????

OK, it is just for those who did pay there device in an arabic country. if not the arabizer package will not install . (b.t.w you have to do a hard reset to complete the installation of the arabic package and this really sucks because it takes long time to do! )
BUT there is some how a way to go around it and install this "INCOMPLETE" arabizer (because it dose not have the nice ISP that has ben floating around for some time - just the official windows mobile SIP with those tiny little buttons) :
Take the arabic package to your desktop and unpack it and install 2 of the 3 files there and then take them back to your HD. Those are :
1.Multilingual Support_LocMAX_NoCour_P32_NOI.Cab
2.Customization_LOC_P13.Cab
just install them locally on your device (1 then restart then 2 ) and just ignore the warning that pups up after installing the first one , it will go away after installing the second one. and finally restart and there you go . you have it all in arabic
The ROM it self is the same (i think ) as the old WWE (europ) . didnt test it yet but the Camera at least is as slow as always
If someone could upload this ROM in another location, it would be nice, because I'm french with radio issues and I wanted to try this new radio ROM, but my S/N is not accepted.

Yes, as far I know, radio is used for network, gps, gprs, gsm, umts, etc. Of course, the version used is also very important for the battery life; sometimes can also be the cause of the heating of the device.

By the way, got an unbranded dutch TP2.
It doesn't help to get the "dutch version" like HERE from their site.

ERROR [244] : INVALID MODEL ID
ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID
ERROR [296] : UPGRADE ONLY
One of these error messages will appear when you use the wrong RUU to do the upgrade. RUU will check if the Model ID and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade.

With the sms fix i also get an error but my rom version is 1.19.404.0 not 1.19.404.1 like they claim its for.
Maybe the gps hotfix is for 1.19.404.1 too ! ?
I have the same problem: INVALID VENDOR ID
Me too, i've TP2 ITA no brand.
And the HotFix for sms isn't compatible with my device ...
Another strange thing is that the hotfix description says:
" If you perform a device hard reset, you will need to reinstall the hotfix after the hard reset."
When I download I get HTC Touch Pro2_HotFix_Rhodium_Radio_3.46.25.30.exe - a radio ROM flash utility
- why would it need to be reapplied after hard-reset ?
did they just mess up ?

Yeah, I mailed them due to the problems with the SMS fix and the Radio update.
Have the German ROM version.

before radio updating firmware was 2.1 , and i don't know what happened after update , but now its my software info !!
i have sense and firmware = 2.2 .
may radio is from whitetigerdk's rom , i flash his rom and it updates the radio after installing .
but after radio updating i restored a nand backup from the arabic ruu .

About Internet sharing..we have already got it with diagnosis menu..don't be upset if we Don't have the setting in the normal menu!
Well, you get it via Zune, the official way, so it is retail, not engineer release. Phone stays unlocked, internet sharing (enabled via registry) still works, unbranded, basically no visible changes except new firmware / radio / bootloader versions in "About" page. Download mode still works as well.
Probably some little fixes only.

i have updated now my omnia 7 (000-08 unbranded) Mango relase with the latest SFR-FR Firmware.
feedback:
- I can't find special improvements
- the VoiceSearch works very, very bad. it uses much time to bring a result and you must very near to the handset microfon or you must very, very loud speak
with my last firmware 2424.11.8.5 VoiceSearch worked very well
- a very good thing is the zune backup function now i´m back on 2424.11.8.5 firmware

What can I say is that before the fimware update posted in this thread I have updated my omnia 7 with the one you can find here.
It seems to me that my gps is not working good, after update, but I don't know if that depends on the new installation of Navigon Select 4 because I didn't have time to try other gps apps. Is there anybody facing the same issue?
