How to Customize your Accent colours in your WP7'ed HD2 :
I take no credit for this !, I'm just sharing ! ((ORIGINAL THREAD))
Preface : You have to know how to deploy apps, look for it in WP7 OS forums (Or click here Thank you Myself11)
1-Your phone should be chevron unlocked to deploy the XAP.
2-Download the Attachment, extract it and deploy it into your HD2.
3-After installation, open Custom Theme and Fill in the box with The colour of your choice and choose a preset accent to replace . (I suggest Pink ? )
4-Hit install and go to settings and choose your new accent !
Notes :
*Do not delete the "FF" at the beginning of the box but put the code infront of it.
*You should not be on the preset accent you want to replace.
*The Accent you will replace will remain with the same name and the colour will be blank, don't worry this is normal.
*Once a default accent is modified it can't be restored with it's colour in the menu (maybe later ? )

Gonna stick my neck out here...
These 'tiles' are a visual disaster in my opinion. if you can amend the colour to any colour can this not be skinned to be a bit more appealing?
nice one but the loading points dont change (they stay on the "old color" which you overwrite)...maybe you know the reg key to change this, too

Actually on my side everything changes, even the loading dots.
Try to redo the steps with a different colour ?
I was able to run the xap on my phone and I changed the colour of the Pink and Magenta ones but when I select them in the theme manager they have not changed ... maybe it doesn't work on my phone.

First, you're in the wrong section . this is for HD2
But it should work on your phone, too.
Do you mean that when you're in the select menu you don't see the colour you chose ? or you mean after you changed the colour and you've already set it it doesn't show in the new colour at the main menu ?
Check the colour code you put, if it's wrong or missing one character the colour will not change (or change to something you don't want)

I am able to selet a colour and hit install... YAY... but when I actualy switch over to that theme it shows the original colour not what I changed it to. I'll re-check the colour code since I was going by memory from when I was a web developer but I am sure I got that right.
Oh and I should mention this message I got from the app:
"CustomTheme has been revoked by Microsoft. Please uninstall it."

I've told that the both colour name and on-menu colour won't change to yours, but when you apply it it will work .
About that message, maybe it has something to do with your phone being relocked ?
i'm guessing this isn't updated for Mango. It won't run on my HD2. It opens and immediately closes.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the ACT isn't available anymore. I searched and seached and all search results take back to the same link which shows the file no longer exists.

I just re-DLed the XAP from the above link, maybe the site was down
advanced config beta 1.4.0.0
just pushed advanced config 1.4.0.0 to my hd2. keeps closing. please help. is there some sort of walk around i can do?

Do you have trouble installing other XAPS?
If you are on BTTF ROM, try sending DEV_UNLOCK_REMOVE.CAB then send DEV_UNLOCK.CAB from http://xboxmod.sylvester20007.com/cabs/tweak/All DEVICES/
Unless you did not do hard reset after upgrade to mango, as this unlocks the ROM.
If on another ROM you may need to chevron unlock it.
I hope this works for you so that you don't get too dizzy walking around

Download the UI-TWEAK and the two themes (included in the ZIP)
install the UI Tweak,
1. run it
2. from the selection menu choose SYSCOLOER Changer
3. Choose Tools->IMport -> Select the Black/Grey Theme.
4. Tools->Apply
5. Tools -> Reset
6. Voila a completly Black Themed Device SWEET! :0

There is a picture.
Take a better look, the entire Backround of the Progarms is black , and the Whole device turn's black.

Nadavi, I'm not sure I understand how you undo it once you want to go back to the default theme. Are you saying that you need to import the default theme onto your device the same way you import the black theme?

Yes, the default theme is included in the zip as well.

I love the black theme! It looks awesome. However, some things are now unreadable. On my Tilt, my inbox is washed out, the message headers for text messages are gray on gray, editing outlook contacts is black on black, and highlighted tabs (as mentioned in a previous post) are white on white. Then there are other little problems like the dropdown arrow for select boxes being black on black. That's all I found before I switched back to my original colors.
It's probably a matter of tweaking the individual colors, but that's tough if you're not sure what does what because you have to soft reset to see what changed.
Does anyone have a black theme that is tweaked so that everything is legible? If you could export it and post it, I'd love to get my hands on that.
Nadavi, I'm tweaking your black theme to be HTC default gray, but I need a little help. What component controls the color of the selected tabs in the setting module? The text color is white and the tab is white. Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, you can always download the most current version of UI Tweaker from my site. Glad to see the interest here...it's motivating me to work on the next minor update (WVGA and VGA support) soon. Also got some bugs to fix in TdyScheme Changer.
P.S: If anybody have some nice themes exported from any of the "sub-programs" in UI Tweaker and wish to share with the rest, you can send me an e-mail and I can probably post the files you exported from the applications on my site (of course with credits).
I installed it on Storage Card but for some reason the phone start in safe mode, tried to uninstall it but the phone still start in safe mode, what happened, help would be great.

- this is a nearly original wheee theme, all credits for Idea and look go to Ufufu and i use again the sticker icons, other grafics and background made by me. This theme has new topbar graphics and a new missed calls-icon that will come to snowwhite and free! theme with next update (This 3 sticker-iconsthemes use exactly the same xmls only the backgrounds are different)

I recommend to do this SETTINGS for your ppc:
(how to: open the xml or txt files with with "totalcommander", or on your PC with "windows Editor", make the following changes, choose "save" (NOT "save as.."), put xmls or txt files back in the theme folder of you PPC and restart todaylife.)
Edit the config.xml :
1. go down to "emaildefaultparam" and there you find:"freenet.de". Replace this with the name of your account.
2. go down to CalendarAction and set it to 1 (=default windows mobile Calendar) otherwise my settings open thumbcal !
3. go down to time format and change it to 12 or 24
4. go to SMS Action and set it to 0 if you don want to open pocketcm
5. you can do more changes (SMS Alarm settings/Lock-settings), they are explained in the xml !
6. change language in the appointments: open the portrait.xml and the landscape.xml . You will find this text:
<Today>Heute</Today>
<Tomorrow>Morgen</Tomorrow>
<AllDay>.....</AllDay>
<MultiDay>.....</MultiDay>
change this four words in this lines to any language
7. change the date format in both portrait.xml and landscape.xml: <Format>dddd, d. MMMM yyyy</Format>

Guys - to change a skin pack to a different resolution takes time!!! the icons may be too small for starters - BUT - you can change most of it yourself - simply by editing the portrait.xml and landscape.xml and making all the X and Y coordinates double - S(ize) attributes for things like the calendar can be doubled too

I am still developing the program - so it is correct that some tabs are empty - this is by design and allows for expansion as I develop.

The unlock sequence is 4 seperate guestures : ^, >, \/, <

When i click the speaker icon my screen darkens, but i dont get a volume control. I have to reset the phone to get out of it. Anyone else have this problem?

How-To
I recommend using one of several icon changing apps available at XDA. The one I currently use is JWMD's Icon Changer, and have used and liked Showaco's reSTART too.
CREDITS
The base folder icon came from the HydroPRO Icon Pack, which is floating around all over the net. Here's a link from my site if you just want to d/l it and not do all the searching. I got it from Vista Icons and it was written by mediaDesign at DeviantArt
Many of the other images I put on top of the folders are from the Alpha Dista Icon Pack, also floating around all over the net. Here's a quick link for that too. I got this from Vista Icons as well. It was written by Danial Flaco at Deviant Art.
The rest of the images were taken from various logos on the web, images I've come across, and stock WM 6.5 / ATT Tilt 2 icons.
Obviously, I make no claim to the original artwork and do not request any kind of credit (I only super-imposed the images I liked, after all) and I place no limits on what you do with this set. Feel free to use, distribute, alter, etc. etc. I'd suggest that if you are looking to sell any of it that you contact the artists listed above first

Hi wokwitme
In WM6.5 use reSTART by Showaco to reassign icons to folders. In this case image files must be placed in:
\Program Files\reSTART\icons\
In WM6.1 you need to convert icons into .ico files and then into a .dll library. once in a .dll library you place a link in the folder you wish to assign an icon to called icon.lnk. The shortcut of the icon.lnk file must point to the .dll library and the index number of the icon you want to be displayed.
There are better WM6.1 tutorials on the forum.

I'm not sure if this was directed at me or what you're asking for here... The icons just go in a folder on the device of your choosing. I use "\My Documents\My Icons" for convenience.
To apply the icons for you would be very tough, a lot of people have their own layouts and organizations to folder structure. Unless you have the exact layout I have, automatically applying them wont work.

Hi.
This thread was initially about changing the font colour which I have since achieved, but run in to a couple more issues that I can't seem to figure out. The image I've used for my notification area is set at 80% transparency in photoshop, but when viewed on the phone it's a solid image. I've tried creating a new image but get the same result.
I've used an image from my other theme which shows the transparency on my other theme but not this. I've used an image from another theme which in their screenshot shows transparency, but doesn't in mine. I thought it might be the services.jar, but having used the one from the other theme it's still the same, solid black on my phone, so I'm a little stumped?
I've also changed the stat_notify_sms image in contacts.apk, but it shows the default image when I get a message?
Like I said I'm not a noob, but could do with some pointers or suggestions?

Thanks for the link, but I've still not managed to change it. Look at the image, to add code after the next instance of 00 00 1c puts me on the next line, when I do that I just get boot loops.
Sorted it, finally. I pulled each statusbar file from layout and went through them, so I've sorted the statusbar and the notification area. Could you point me in the direction of the operator text in the notification area?

Need a touch more help, in my eagerness to change the font colour I've changed something but don't know what. The image I've used for the notification backdrop I've set at 80% transparency, but on the phone it's showing as a solid image? which obviously isn't the look I'm after.
Any help as always, will be much appreciated.

Yes, I've done the same thing I've done with other themes but for some reason it's not showing the transparency on the phone this time round...
Hi.
Had to to start from scratch due to Zdzihu releasing a beta2 for the X10, but this time round I'm having new trouble, I've edited the files but my operator text and clock is still showing black text. Can someone take a look at my files, I've checked and double checked but still I've got black text. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, but the reason I'm asking is because I have already changed my smali file to white, but see no change, where as before I did, and I've changed my files in res/layout too, and while my notifications are white, the carrier remains gray, and can't figure out why it worked before but isn't doing now.

Sorry, i thought point 3 might have helped.
You could try applying the original framework, see if changes apply, then re-applying your mod again.
I resolved a similar issue a few days back with that method, seems it just needed a kick up the arse.

That's why I've uploaded the files hoping some could take a look because I've changed every file like I did before, but the clock and the carrier text refuses to change, and don't really want to start from scratch for a third time.
As far as i know from cooking themes for dell streak, the rom itself needs to be set to allow transparent status bar etc... i presume you're working on the x10? If so to set the rom you're bootloader would have to be unlocked to customise a deoxidised rom, then you can have transparent built into themes. Please correct me if I'm wrong, its info i have read and hopefully will help you too

Hi.
I'm not trying to make the statusbar transparent, I'm trying to make the statusbar font white, but what worked for me before just isn't working now and I can't figure it out. Any one who checks the files I've uploaded can see they have all been edited accordingly but the font colour just wont change.
The rom I'm trying mod is in beta stage 2, and the reason I'm having to start again is because the services.jar has changed from beta 1, and having changed the only instance of 0x100 in StatusBarIcon.smali, nothing is changing, so think I maybe missing something, but need a theming pro to take a look and point out what that might be. I've followed stericsons guide, I've watched TheFXNs vid, I've read dullys link, none of which are of any help with this issue, because I know I've edited what needs editing, but still stuck with black font in the statusbar.
There's a $10 or £5 donation for anyone who helps resolve this as I'm past the point of frustration now.

Tutorial/Download:
1. Go to the Theme Store, then under the section "Different landscapes of city" scroll all the way to the right, then click on the "Urban" Theme, download and also apply it.
2. Flash the .zip down below (you can also manually move all the apks inside to their destination in /data/app and correct the permissions, but that's a lot more work)
You can also use FlashFire (instead of a custom recovery) for the flash process. (Knox won't be triggered, stays at 0x0)

One Bug to add:
Changing the wallpaper using the wallpaper selector (Settings -> Personal -> Wallpaper), the top left drop down to choose Home Screen, Lock Screen or Both is there but the words are black on black.

I just saw that you don't use a compatible device (G920F/G925F), so no support from me. Reboot menu works perfectly on my device, you can also see it in the picture in OP.

1. I don't know. Try. The ZIP only overwrites some files in data/app and data/overlay, shouldn't brake any system functionality -> no bootloop possible
If the material design theme from @cambunch works for you, this does too.
2. You can flash over it. The memo app will stay material though.
