Bestskinsever.com now selling Focus skins - Focus Accessories

Hey Hey,
Just wanted to give folks a heads up, Bestskinsever.com is now selling full phone skins for the Samsung Focus.
I just ordered one, and it was only $US 6.99 plus $2.00 shipping. You can't beat the price. I ordered from them for my last phone (Samsung Impression) and I was very happy with the product.
Just thought folks would like an alternative to the $30 price point for the InvisiShields of the world for what I feel is a good option. Check it out if you like.
ps - For the record I am in no way affiliated with this company!! Feel silly saying so, but there are many spam wary people out there

I bought a skin for mine from Gadget Guard (like an Invisishield) via ebay, but paid about $13. This seems like a pretty good deal.
Does it have the same tackyness that these types of skins have? Mine does and it definitely affects the feel of the touch screen. It's something I'll probably have to get used to but i'm considering just using the side and back skins - I'm glad these people offer a body-only option.

Mail order is not a good answer, by the time it crosses the border, even though our dollars are as of right now equal, the border cost and shipping make the accessories more than double the price. i.e. $15.00 screen protector came in at $32.50 from one place I tried.
isn't there sellers in Canada? They really don't have to declare it a purchase but a gift.

Okay so I am trying these out. I have just ordered two of them... just in case I screw up with one of them. Hope they are my answer... if not my mistake will only cost me a few bucks. Thank you for the links! I will post again after I have placed one on.
The extreme guard is the one I tried out. Seem pretty good so far.
Got on in TO
I just got my focus a couple of days ago at the Rogers Plus at Wellesley and Yonge. They have the Zagg Invisible Shield screen protectors for the focus. Just put it on tonight- I like it so far, but it will take a day or so to let all the little bubble go away. Before I got the phone I had gone out to Pacific Mall to see what they had and there was nothing! Even the Rogers stores out there had nothing.
I was actually told by a very young asian woman at Pacific Mall that "...if I didn't mind my phone was a white peoples phone" and that "Pacific Mall probably wouldn't cater to me". I love Toronto... I really do. I actually paid for the ones in the links abouve from Extreme Guard but I haven't received them yet. They said 7-10 business days, I am hoping they will come tomorrow. I will report back when (if) they come.

So I mail ordered the XtremeGuard and it finally got here yesterday. I have to say I only needed the 1 out of the 2 that I ordered. The screen protector was easy to put on, it looks fantastic, there are no bubbles and it did not cost me $15-$25 at a local store like Rogers. It looks fantastic, although the die cut is about 1mm too short. No biggie though, and I am now not afraid to throw it in my pack or let other people try it out. (My iPhone friends seem to be uber curious - but then again they are not the Sheeple type)
I can whole heartedly recommend this company... and they were extremely inexpensive!
Great, thank you for the link ITDRAGON!
Just wondering but does anyone know of any places that sell invisible shields preferably in the steeles east region and not downtown? Really don't want to go searching store to store and order online
What is the texture on the Xtremeguard? Is it rubbery or is it smooth and glossy?
It is clear, not as glossy as the real screen and somewhat rubbery. At least that's what I make out of it.

[Q] Wholesale Parts from TVC - Any experiences?

I've seen people mention the website http://www.tvc-mall.com/ a few times, pointing people there for parts, accessories, cables, etc..
Has anybody actually ordered from them, and received their products in good condition, and correct to what they thought they were ordering?
I realize that they are overseas, and that shipping can cost more, but the products are very inexpensive to begin with.
Or, would I be better to pay 10x the price and order from US Vendors (that get their products from overseas also).
Looking for real purchasing experiences please..
Thank you,
I have had two sales transactions. I have purchased a new front gorilla glass, three car chargers, two pocket cases, three A/V cables. I used PayPal. The items arrived within five days of my order.
I really like the company for gold service and great prices.
Thank you for the response. Sounds like you would order from them again if you had a chance, or need?
I was just very concerned about the low prices, and the location from which it is coming from, but using Paypal would help me be a bit more comfortable.
Has anyone had any experience with replacing a screen digitizer of the galaxy tab?
I have a two huge scratches in the glass. I'm not sure when I replace the glass it is going to get worse. Then I don't have any scratches anymore but something else is wrong. Like the screen not fitting or the quality is worse or something like that....

Yes, I love the prices and the fast, great service. The shipping costs are the bad thing, but TVC-Mall doesnt control that.
What are you ordering? I need a few things - maybe we could combine to save on the shipping - it's $30 to the US.
I replaced my front glass. It's pretty easy if you are familiar with replacing stuff in ipods and phones. Go see a video first. Google "front glass replacement galaxy tab" and see the tab tear-down video on youtube.
Ranger, I'm still looking around the site, but I am looking at a car mount, stylus, and some accessories for my wifes Epic 4G.
Combining an order sounds like a way to save on shipping.

Four official Nexus 7 cases and a screen protector. There are prices but no release date as of yet.

Rotating Stand Case
Non-rotating Stand Case
Folio Case
Bluetooth Keyboard Case
Screen Protector
The bluetooth keyboard case looks interesting. I'm wondering how much would it cost..
Edit: "ONLY £79.95"
Mobilefun seems like such a rip off, I don't how they can justify the £39.99 price tag of their folio case...that's $62 for you US folks!!
I imagine over time, the price will come crashing down due to a lack of demand. The prices they have are an absolute joke for what is actually a very average case.
There's always a mark up from the US to the UK, the 8GB Nexus 7 (£160) is the equivalent of $250. It does seem larger for the accessories though, think they're trying to increase their margin.

Good point but even still, from a UK perspective, £39.99 for a folio case (unbranded) is a joke! I don't even think Marware/Case-Mate, Incipio, etc will charge that much!
LOL I love the 'official' - part of the description...
the rotating one and folio - look like the endless ones on ebay.. 'leather' covering the screen..
I would advise people to check ebay before paying that amount for a generic case - no way they are official Asus products..

lol only... half the price of the tablet.
The keyboard case is also the same generic one that's been making the rounds for quite a while. Stamp "genuine" on it (not even "official") and some folks seem to go ape over it.
all of these accessories look the same to what's out already. they will probably cost 2-3x more

The cheap $2 cases in eBay have this feature, it's nothing special anymore and even it were, it does not justify these ludicrous prices.
Proof that MobileFun is inflating their claims that these are official, as well as their prices (or perhaps their supplier is fibbing to them?):
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX40691
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX40692
EDIT: My posts about this on the various "news" sites are being deleted, so folks aren't being informed. Hopefully the sites will post an update. I hate to see a retailer get all of this free advertising and make their customers pay inflated prices due to false claims.
I can't imagine using a such a small keyboard.....
The keyboard case definitely looks like an improvement from what's available - thinner, smaller, more solidly built. I can't imagine those are the actual prices they will be sold for in the US - no one will buy a $125 keyboard case for a $250 tablet.

Is it Worth the extra money?

Hi all, I know both of these cases have been around this forum at some point, but I don't want to bring up a dead thread.
I'm just curious to owners that have either of these cases:
http://shop.portenzo.com/hardback-for-nexus/
And:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251139617...:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_11985wt_1037
I just want to know, is the eBay case good quality etc, I've heard good things about it.
Or is it worth the extra spend, and go all in for a portenzo case?
I love the portenzo cases especially how you can design it to represent you, but spending that much on a case is something I have never done. Is the build quality etc really that much better to warrant spending over 40$ on the portenzo?
The portenzo comes to 43+$ for me as the shipping is quite expensive due to me being in the UK.
THANKS IN ADVANCED !
I was happier with my $7 Amazon case then my $50 Portenzo case, so I would say its not worth the extra $$$
I've just taken delivery this morning of the case you've linked too on eBay from seller wedo-bestdeal.
Ordered Tuesday afternoon, came this morning. So good service.
As for the case, I'm happy with it!
It doesn't add too much more bulk to the tablet, folding the cover back turns the device on, as expected, and folding it right behind it, like you'd hold it whilst using it wth two hands, doesn't cause the tablet to sleep. I've read on a few posts that the magnets in some cases can be too strong and cause it to sleep by doing that.
I've folded the case to stand the tablet up, and to just have it at a gentle slope, both works well. It will jsut take a little time for the cover to be less stiff.
my only moan is that the case over laps, and curls underneath adding a little unavoidable bulk to it, but it's not much, and after playing with it, I can live without without a problem!
Get one, for £10, what's the worst that can happen?
I have that eBay case and it's just fine, it gives good protection and is hopefully hard wearing. I also have another case that I think is much nicer looking but isn't holding up living in my pocket all day.
Can't speak for the Portenzo from experience but from looking at it, it doesn't protect the N7 round the edges at all, that may not be a problem for you but it is for me.

anyone tried this one, well ive just ordered this one, will give a review once it arrives, probably monday
Cheers peeps, I'll buy the eBay one then.
Was just wondering whether the price difference offered much more protection etc.
But by the sounds of it the 10£ one from eBay is sufficient, plus it does look nice although the portenzo is BEAUTIFUL !
The ebay case is really good, you can't go wrong for that money.

I guess this is a unanimous decision, the eBay case is the winner.
Probably purchase later today, tomorow or next week. As I tend to put things off, as I only bought a case last week for it, BUT I HATE IT.
They sent me wrong colour, the case was different than in picture, the stitching was all over the place, the material was coming off etc etc.
But thats a different rant altogether, thanks for the answers people !

FlyGrip a necessity?

I am surprised no one has posted about this as of yet.
QBKing77's youtube channel has a video review of this "contraption".
Currently there is a deal where you get a free TPU case (i think thats what it is called) with the purchase of a $30 FlyGrip.
He also mentions how you get a discount by using his name at the checkout.
I am almost convinced to get one, but would like your input on this.
Check out this video where he discusses the flygrip (somewhere in there).

Not sure if it would add too much bulk
Pricing with shippingmmakes it quite expensive for us international buyers
I've been using it for about a week now, and haven't regretted that decision. It's definitely a must if you're using your N2 a lot with single hand. I'm still waiting for Aduro case to release their awesome kickstand case that they had for the GSIII:

I would love to hear from you! I need someone to convince me into getting this, its just that $30 doesnt seem to worth it...
I've been on the fence with this since i saw a video review of these a few weeks ago. I am horrible about ordering things online. I search the heck out of them and then never buy anything. I really like to see things in person.
I really like the idea though. Seems like it would really make the phone more comfortable for me. I have the flip cover and i usually have one finger between it and the back of my phone which gives me a pretty secure grip but after a few minutes my poor finger starts to feel smashed back there.
Maybe i should just break down and go for it. I could use the free case for testing the mod for using a tpu case with the flip cover.
So indecisive....

Too bad they had super expensive shipping to Sweden

I got one. The guy is real easy to deal with. I had to swap mine from white to black since Tmobile had no white Note2s. He did it without issue. I carried my phone for a week w/o the clip and now about a week with the clip. I find its a nice bonus. I mostly use it when I'm relaxing and holding the phone at odd angles. Its great for that, very secure. In day to day use I don't really use it since my TPU case has really good grip already.
I had my phone for almost a week before I got my flygrip. In my opinion it makes the phone much easier to use one handed. I have maybe slightly above average hands and I can reach the whole screen easier with it. The stand feature is very nice too. I have mine on a body glove and feel extremely confident I have a very secure grip on my phone when using it. Weird angle gripping is much easier as well. I would recommend one for the GNII 100%
Regurgitated From My Giant Note II
What time curious about is how easy it is to transfer between cases or devices. I saw a video of somebody removing the FlyGrip and it looked to be some super adhesive material.
How resuable is it exactly?
Edit: Took a closer look and looks like you could grab a pack of 3 replacement adhesives. Was really excited for it despite the price since you could say it's justified with the TPU case throw in....but unfortunately the shipping code "QBKING77" is limited only to the States. Really disappointed since I'll have to pass just based on the shipping costs.

I had one on my Sensation, and am awaiting new adhesive, but I LOVE my Flygrip. Thing is simply amazing. I didn't think that I would get 30 bucks worth out of thin cheap plastic, but I've been sorely tempted to pickup a second one for my tablet. Also, they have pretty good customer support, I've called three times, and it's always the same guy that answers. I actually prefer this to the kickstand cases because of the one handed grip support. I can't text on my bike without it, especially with this phone. I'll upload a couple pictures as soon as I get my sticky backs

I just took mine off of my Sensation, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It took some forcing to actually begin to remove it, as it is really pretty damn strong, but once I got it separated from the old case it was simple enough to just rub the remaining residue away. It does leave a very clean rectangle on whatever case you put it on after removal lol.

So emailed FlyGrip with some questions. Response was very quick, not to mention a nice surprise with the great customer service!
" .... Additional tape provided”, are there extra adhesive tapes in each FlyGrip package? Or that we would have to buy the pack of 3 if we were interested in replacements?

Flygrip comes with (1) extra adhesive. So after you remove it, you can put the new adhesive on.* "Some" people try using the existing adhesive.* It depends on how sticky it still is.* We recommend to use a new one, but sometimes the adhesive is sticky enough to reuse.* We sell (3) packs for $2.47.

Also, a shot in the dark but I'm wondering if you do happen to have any promotions going on for international shipping (namely to Canada) as the FlyGrip was something I was immediately excited for, only to see the cost of shipping.

Love my FlyGrip. I enjoy knowing I'm not going to drop the phone, but I really purchased it because I'm an ex-EVO user and knew I'd miss the kickstand. I use it as a kickstand whenever the phone isn't in my pocket. Right now I'm using the free case that was included, but I'll take it off in a few weeks. I usually don't go for bold colors, but got the blue kickstand and a royal blue case. Nice looking.
He has lots of videos on the site to help with making a decision. Oh, no, it doesn't add bulk, it's only 1/4" deep. USA made and the packaging is very good looking, would make a great gift.
I think it's a smarter decision to look at these.
