I haven't bought this as I don't have issued with the standard battery - but I have bought lots of things from Brando for many years now and always found him to be very good indeed (have his anti-reflective screen protector on my HD7 at the mo!).

Thnx - bought one for my HD2 too.
Only thing I wasn't sure about was whether it included the application spray?

Yes, it does.
Got that email about 50% off today aswell mate- shame is that the invisishield for the HD2 is really quite appalling! - I saw my mates today and took some pics - and will try to post up pics.
Unlike the iphone one which covers everything, the HD2 one leaves allot exposed and also is a rubbish fit overall - i'm quite depressed as I expected more from Zagg - even my colleague is still going out and buying a different case to go ontop of the invisishield!

I installed the InvisibleShield and was dissapointed that it left a lot of the phones most vulnerable points exposed such as the corners and edges of the case so I'm also using a FlexiShield Skin from Mobilefun:

Hi,
I have just been to the ZAGG website and couldnt find the HD2 Skin, please can someone point me in the right direction?
thanks

New Battery for under $3+Free Shipping

Found this today. Its so cheap its definitely worth a shot. I've ordered from this site in the past with good results. Shipping is a little slow but it is free. Can take up to 3 weeks to receive your order.

Nice find,
I can second the legitness of Deal Extreme, I have ordered plenty of items from them.
Moved to Vogue Accessories...
nice deal, if i didn't already have 2 and an extended battery, i would get one.
Has anyone got this? Does it fit the Bell Touch?
FYI, I ordered several and they seem to work fine. Have Norfolk compared battery life though as it was not for my phone
Sent from my HTC Vogue FroYo using XDA App
I have ordered from them before. I ordered 2 extended batteries for the vogue from them. Works well. Only thing is that the back case doesn't fit, but I just ordered a cdma extended back case from amazon, which was a good price too.
What are these extended batteries you guys are talking about... I've searched around and haven't seen anything better than the standard 1100mAh batteries. Can anyone link me to one of these extended batteries?

It's also called the Dopod S1 or p3450 on dealextreme. The battery will fit but the back cover won't. You'll have to find one on ebay or amazon for the fitting back cover for the vogue/xv6900
Well my original battery seems just fine, but is a couple of years old so I thought I'd order one of these as a backup. Well, long story short, I decided that at less the 3 bones a piece I'd order 2, just in case one was bad. It took about 10 days to get my order (slow boat from China and all), but they arrived today and work just great!
I don't know how the hell it can be profitable to ship 2 batteries from Hong Kong to Iowa for under 6 bucks, but I'm not complaining!

I got a extended battery, it's 2000mAh of pure energy...your phone will look pregnant once you put this bad boy in, but the performance is well worth it. It has battery with case, it usually lasts me the whole day (7am - 10pm) and that's with moderate to heavy use, gps on, data on, gmail on, as well as other email accounts that pool approx 6x a day. You can Google "2000mah, vogue battery" & it should pop up...happy hunting!

where you pull a strip up on the back of the case which lifts the phone out of the case slightly
I bought one from a seller on eBay.
I had to search 'HD2 case', and then find it by looking at the pictures, very few on there though.

I'm sure he knows how to find eBay
I bought it months ago, I would have to troll through all the listings to find it again.

A great Pull case
Here is a case i bought from ebay. It arrived today and after testing it for a couple of hours I am posting my positive comments and recommendations on it. First of all - it is the cheapest pull case of the "puller is fixed in hole on the side" type (see pictures). Costed me just 8$ (free shipping to Taiwan)
It may seem expensive given the fact that one can order a pull-case for just 2.07$ as in here. But after a sad experience i had with hard case i learned the lession with sad consequences. This case is well worth the price. Soft pleasant leather, soft inner velvet lining, and the pulling design is just brilliant. I used to have a conventional pull case with not fixed "puller tongue". Well, every time i was going to put the phone back into case i had to make sure that the tongue is on the right side (otherwise the phone would not dive till the end) - annoying, especially if you have to do this operation fast, "on the flight". With this design you do not look for the tongue neither while inserting, nor while pulling the phone out.
Too long a review for just a leather case... anyways, nice purchase it seems:
The photos are from ebay site.
P.S. Also they include a screen protector, but i doubt the quality of it, though haven't tried it yet (it seems 0.5 mm longer then needed).
P.S.2 I am by no means related to the seller, I just searched ebay for a leather case, sorted them by S&H price and scrolled down until i found the first one with this design.

Silicone Case for Extended Battery?

Hi all,
Did someone find a silicon case for HD2 with extended battery. All I see is for regular battery only.
I just cut a hole in a cheap case.
It works just fine.
Yes, it's seen like the only solution after spending a lot of hours on the net searching

Where to buy genuine HTC HD2 battery?

Anyone have any idea where I can order the genuine battery for the HD2? My stock battery is dying and it would be awesome if I can get a brand new one that performs well. So far, I ordered two of those Chinese imitation batteries from two different sellers and they have the same serial number haha. They don't hold nearly as much charge as they should. Any suggestions?

If you take a look at the reviews, it is NOT an OEM battery.

Yeah that's why I mentioned not having HTC branding. I figured he mainly wanted something just like the original battery but not a generic Chinese rip off.

Thanks. I tried. T-Mobile doesn't carry HD2 accessories anymore. Still haven't found one. Those imitation HTC batteries don't work that well. They heat up very quickly when charging and don't seem to hold as much charge.
I think I found it

Yes, it says UK but they ship to USA/wherever you are.
And Yes, they are sold out at the moment, wait for restock.

Well, I'm using the Andida batteries. They are marked 1600 but actually run at the same capacity as stock. They work the same for me.

Hate to quote myself but this link is valid. I ordered one the other day and it arrived today. It does have the HTC branding and is the exact same battery (P/N also) as my HD2 battery.
A reviewer on the site said they got one without the branding. I read that after I had ordered. Doh! But I got a genuine battery.

is the mould 100% same on this battery & the wrapping cut & folded the same.
Also look at print for matching size & quality.
Most batteries at that price will not be original but if lucky it will be quite good battery in a HTC copy wrapper.
Another way to tell is get other buyers to forward the serial of battery, copies only have a few differing serials at best & normally just one.

Haha... now I'm worried about copy wrappers.
Original battery on the left and new one from Amazon link on the right. (I'm pretty sure... could have gotten them backwards). I'll go dig around for their serial numbers online and see what I find.
Hard to tell from that image. compare moulding on edges & how wrapper is folded around. Also look at water label & contacts. Original battery contacts are quality copper & look a bit satin if look at an angle but look shiny when view straight, copy batteries normally have a cheaper coated contact which is shiny at all viewing angles.
If it performs ok & charges without getting over hot don't worry about it too much.

They look exactly identical in every single aspect. So much so that I wouldn't know which was the originial if I hadn't taken a pic. No heat issues and I've been abusing the Netflix app testing both batteries.
Loving the Netflix!

You got a battery with the correct markings; at that price point, it is almost certainly a Chinese relacement. Be sure and report back after three charge cycles with the measured capacity.

We usually get what we pay for... so I wouldn't bet against you. I do plan on testing it under my normal usage after a few charge cycles and see how it does. I'm a medium to heavy user of batteries.
Just found that on ebay Germany, it has overheat protection aswell the CE quality sign.

I'm a little leary; the photo says 1500, but the description says 1300...
Original batteries are heavier than these cheap rip-offs. They use the copy wrapper to mask their lesser capacity.
Some copy HTC batteries will be same weight or even heavier.
I have a fake HTC battery that I picked up for my Touch Pro, slightly heavier & performs as good as original but probably not for as long as original cell.
problem with copies is quality goes from trash to almost on par with original but with not much way of telling what you are going to get.
I went for a compact USB power pack as got bored of looking at fake HTC batteries & official HTC retail outlet prices can be ridiculous, plus swapping, booting & charging 2 cells is a pain at times.
