Sammys Custom WP7 Theme
This is the first custom theme for Windows Phone 7 it is still in beta and some things don't work. At this point you can change the wallpaper but only to a color. I also changed the keyboard to a custom color .
Ive decided to release it for people to try, theres no easy way to do this cause its not final yet so, it requires work but its worth it Okay you'll need a cheveron unlocked device, RegistryEditor 1.1.0.0, and HTC Connection Setup (download link below). directions in second post.

Instructions
1. Sideload the apps you download above
2. Run HTC Connection Setup and got through setup
3. Open RegistryEditor, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Themes\
4. Okay you have the choice to pick a theme you would like to edit unfortunately you cant just create a theme (Im working on that). 0 is the light theme and 1 is the dark theme i chose to edit the light theme since it takes up power. So click whatever theme you would like to edit.
5. on the light theme i have provided the original text that was there if you decide to switch (someone can post the dark theme original settings)

6. These are the only ones i recommend you to edit, For example, PageBackgroundColor is the background color on all non-custom pages, such as People, Start, Settings, etc.
7. I recommend editing the BaseThemeColor for the Custom Color Keyboard, PageBackgroundColor for your background color.

9. I only changed three lines and everything else stayed the same.
10. for your own colors visit (http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html) chose the color and copy the six digit number/letter of the color.
10. to apply your color simply delete the last six numbers (Keep The First Two Letters/Numbers in original Value Data!) then replace those last six numbers you deleted with your six numbers you got from your color chosen.
11. After applying your changes run the HTC Connection Setup, then restart the phone go to settings/themes and then chose the one you edited, simple Enjoy!!

For Transparency
to get transparent tiles just make the accent color transparent..
its in an alpha hex code form...
the first 2 letters are for alpha channel!!
so that means 0-255 in dec.
0-ff in hex
0 is fully transparent, ignore rest of color values..
FF is 0% trans.

But, kind of "as usual", there is always some skilled person like you here at xda who fixes what they forgot...
Looking forward to your finished product... I am a fan of "transparency" and nice home screen backgrounds (as a matter of fact, that´s one of the few things I miss in comparison to Sense...

yea the music hub is just my imagination im sure theirs a way to change the icon but its way outta my reach for now, but it would be nice to have , and about the music, i just added random songs for fun

Download the UI-TWEAK and the two themes (included in the ZIP)
install the UI Tweak,
1. run it
2. from the selection menu choose SYSCOLOER Changer
3. Choose Tools->IMport -> Select the Black/Grey Theme.
4. Tools->Apply
5. Tools -> Reset
6. Voila a completly Black Themed Device SWEET! :0

Of course it's totally undoable, since i've put the Default Theme of WM06. you can simply import it when u'll get tired of a black theme.

There is a picture.
Take a better look, the entire Backround of the Progarms is black , and the Whole device turn's black.

Nadavi, I'm not sure I understand how you undo it once you want to go back to the default theme. Are you saying that you need to import the default theme onto your device the same way you import the black theme?

Yes, the default theme is included in the zip as well.

Nice App, the theme needs a little tweaking thou. The highlighted tabs under SYSTEM, are the same color as the text.

I love the black theme! It looks awesome. However, some things are now unreadable. On my Tilt, my inbox is washed out, the message headers for text messages are gray on gray, editing outlook contacts is black on black, and highlighted tabs (as mentioned in a previous post) are white on white. Then there are other little problems like the dropdown arrow for select boxes being black on black. That's all I found before I switched back to my original colors.
It's probably a matter of tweaking the individual colors, but that's tough if you're not sure what does what because you have to soft reset to see what changed.
Does anyone have a black theme that is tweaked so that everything is legible? If you could export it and post it, I'd love to get my hands on that.
Nadavi, I'm tweaking your black theme to be HTC default gray, but I need a little help. What component controls the color of the selected tabs in the setting module? The text color is white and the tab is white. Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, you can always download the most current version of UI Tweaker from my site. Glad to see the interest here...it's motivating me to work on the next minor update (WVGA and VGA support) soon. Also got some bugs to fix in TdyScheme Changer.
P.S: If anybody have some nice themes exported from any of the "sub-programs" in UI Tweaker and wish to share with the rest, you can send me an e-mail and I can probably post the files you exported from the applications on my site (of course with credits).
I installed it on Storage Card but for some reason the phone start in safe mode, tried to uninstall it but the phone still start in safe mode, what happened, help would be great.

- this is a nearly original wheee theme, all credits for Idea and look go to Ufufu and i use again the sticker icons, other grafics and background made by me. This theme has new topbar graphics and a new missed calls-icon that will come to snowwhite and free! theme with next update (This 3 sticker-iconsthemes use exactly the same xmls only the backgrounds are different)

I recommend to do this SETTINGS for your ppc:
(how to: open the xml or txt files with with "totalcommander", or on your PC with "windows Editor", make the following changes, choose "save" (NOT "save as.."), put xmls or txt files back in the theme folder of you PPC and restart todaylife.)
Edit the config.xml :
1. go down to "emaildefaultparam" and there you find:"freenet.de". Replace this with the name of your account.
2. go down to CalendarAction and set it to 1 (=default windows mobile Calendar) otherwise my settings open thumbcal !
3. go down to time format and change it to 12 or 24
4. go to SMS Action and set it to 0 if you don want to open pocketcm
5. you can do more changes (SMS Alarm settings/Lock-settings), they are explained in the xml !
6. change language in the appointments: open the portrait.xml and the landscape.xml . You will find this text:
<Today>Heute</Today>
<Tomorrow>Morgen</Tomorrow>
<AllDay>.....</AllDay>
<MultiDay>.....</MultiDay>
change this four words in this lines to any language
7. change the date format in both portrait.xml and landscape.xml: <Format>dddd, d. MMMM yyyy</Format>
8. add the name and path of you applications for the launcher in the "Applications.txt". Can be ".exe" or ".lnk" and works also with parameters.

- you need nothing more. i works with wm 6.0 and wm 6.1 with NetFramework 2.0 or 3.5. And no need to install !!! unzip the folder put it on your phone and start the todaylife.exe. If you dont like it delete just the folder thats it.

- not everything, test it, but i update this skin everytime that there are some new functions for you.
4. I´m having bugs/Problems/Ideas ?

to this day ive never heard of "TodayLife", but i can guarantee u this..im gonna give it a try..
the theme looks good, not too heavy to dark or too bright..actually looks similar to a MS2.1 theme ive seen before lol

Guys - to change a skin pack to a different resolution takes time!!! the icons may be too small for starters - BUT - you can change most of it yourself - simply by editing the portrait.xml and landscape.xml and making all the X and Y coordinates double - S(ize) attributes for things like the calendar can be doubled too

I am still developing the program - so it is correct that some tabs are empty - this is by design and allows for expansion as I develop.
Please read the development thread for more info.
The unlock sequence is 4 seperate guestures : ^, >, \/, <
Can someone post more screenshots. I can't see the original for some reason.

buttons are ok now i must work beside text and fonts dimension maybe something cold work
When i click the speaker icon my screen darkens, but i dont get a volume control. I have to reset the phone to get out of it. Anyone else have this problem?

This is BETA 2 of my first theme, Ghost Black. For the time being, it is RC30 JF1.41 only, but I am planning on doing RC8 and ADP1 once I redo this for RC31.
As stated above, this is a BETA, and with that, you are responsible for any/all problems you encounter trying this theme. I have tested it myself, and have had no issues, but that doesn't mean you won't.

Thanks to everyone for all their input and suggestions so far. Even though I haven't implemented everything yet, I will in the upcoming days/weeks.
Still to do/current issues:
*Help finish this up for a proper metamorph release!
*Due to the black icons, they look really bad on the open slider. I have experimented in V2 with the Music and Browser icons, giving them a white glow (which makes them easier to see against dark backgrounds). If all goes well, I will convert the rest of the icons to have the whiteglow

Downloaded and installed with no problems.
Very slick. The icons look great against a light background.
However...When viewed in the applications tab, they are hard to see unless you highlight them with the trackball.

Just installed on my g1 gotta say it looks amazing as is just wondering if you can post that wallpaper you used because without it it dosent go well with a dark background
I found out that the current version you have of the theme, when I went to music the song icon is still green I guess you forgot to put it in there its just a heads up

I found 2 problems with the theme, in the music section the song icon is still green and when you pop out the keyboard in landscape the icon to pull the menu out has vanished. I will report more bugs when I find them in this post so check back.

I kept getting corrupt downloads while doing so. I found it works better to download directly through the browser. Hope this helps!

I think that you could fix this by simply making the background black and the icons white,but I don't know if this would take away from the theme as a whole...
Just installed it on mine. looks really nice, especially for a work in progress. A few minor details to change:
- Make the GSM signal bars look like the WiFi signal bars.
- Make new Data Status icons (G,E,3G) that fit in with the skin.
- The icons in the launcher are too difficult to see with a black background. If the background was a few shades lighter it might be easier to see.
Agreed on the issues posted so far. The big thing I came across is when I installed it my browser uninstalled. I use the auto rotate browser build which could've been why. When I put the browser back on though it still uses the old icon

Ditto please fix this. Gr8 theme though
a bug report...when trying to set a background from pictures this theme doesnt work with it....the picture viewer begins to act buggy.

Idk But i took it off of manup's bluestar.
As per request here are some keyboards made by me. Some are newer, Some are really old. If you want anything or need one made or modified please drop a note here or PM me.
Easy step-by-step installation.
NO ADB, NO TERMINAL needed.
1) Go into settings, Locale and Text and make sure Touch Input (if you have it) is NOT checked.
2) Copy or download the zip file to your sdcard and use astro to browse it.
3) click on the HTC_IME file and select uninstall (if only install is available skip ahead to step 6)
4) follow the prompts to uninstall the keyboard
5) go back into astro and browse the same zip file.
6) click on the HTC_IME file and select install and follow the prompts
7) Go into settings, Locale and Text and make sure Touch Input is CHECKED!
That's it! Enjoy the new keyboard.

Are the 2 Latin keyboards transparent? It looks like the wallpaper showing behind them but I can't tell if its that or if they are just designed to look like those wallpapers

I can make a fully transparent background (semi-transparent darkens as you press keys) and semi-transparent keys (already have em handy) If that is what you are after.
I make no guarantees as to what effects that might produce. Let me know if you are interested.
Note: Tested fully transparent. Discovered why it doesn't work. Everytime you press a key a new layer is drawn on top of the old one. So as soon as you press a key the transparency disappears and you can see the other key in the background. So even the slightest opacity is multiplied with each keypress. I cannot change the way it is drawn, sorry.
I would be interested! Lol. and many many thanks for implementing this great idea. I always thought it would be so awesome to be able to theme the touch input keyboard.

Beagz those KB's are sick man. I wish I could use them but I don't think I can cause I'm on Drizzy's HERO.

I tried pushing it but give me a FC right on startup...I thought that this should work since nothing has changed besides the looks compared to the original HTC_IME...although i did not c an odex file that might b the issue but i'm not sure

I tried to install the Poison keyboard from that second post but it wouldn't let me. All the other ones, or at least all the ones that i tried from the first post worked for me. Any possible reasons?
This is awesome which one would you say has the biggest buttons on the phone? i love the htcime but the buttons always seemed smaller to me even though the keyboard is the best at prediction and correcting

OK, I did have the wrong file for that one. Try the new download, BTW the function keys were changed to black with green outline. Just FYI

Try to remove the classes.dex file. If that doesn't work tell me which one you. want. I have the hero version that i can edit.
Awesome work Beagz. Thank you for all the hardwork and all the help you give people like me as well the community at large. You've done more to make our phones have zazz than many themes in this forum. I will picking your head as soon I get a day off. This is a thread for variations of the excellent work of Bluemetalaxe's iReflect icons. Right now there is three variations, each will have at least 500 plus icons so you can use them for just about all of your programs and applications. awesome, keep them coming. great mod idea. any ideas of a mod so they can be distinguished as folders. example i have a gps folder that i then have google maps and sprint nav etc in. i would defionitely appreciate a mod like this as well

It is already in the zip, the yellow ones are the folders Bluemetalaxe already created these and you will find a GPS one as well. Glad you like them I will work towards completion as soon as possible........
Its Been SOOOooo Long since i saw an icon set i actually liked. These are BOSS icons dude. Thanks MUCH. These will be in my ROM as soon as You've ported the set!!! Putting what I need off the first 120 in my kitchen now.

Glad you like them, Blue's icons are a great set to work with I will do my best to finish them all as soon as possible.

Glad you like them! Thanks for the screen shots and yes I will be finishing up the entire set by Sunday night then I will need users to let me know which ones I missed and/or need to be made. I like how you rotated them I am going to be making a set exactly like that when I finish this one. I realize that there are issues with this first set for "iPhone Today" users like yourself because of the overlaying text like for the battery meter and such. I will try to finish as soon as I can, thanks for the comment.................
note: I will make a few blank ones for you so you can use them for the text on your meters and such......

Could you pack your icons inside a dll? I would like to use them with SK Shortcut Manager and that needs dll files to take the icons from. I tried using Icon Changer but it does not work on my device.
Really very neat icons and i am thinking of changing the icons of all shortcuts so i could use them in SPB Mobile Shell.

I am sorry but I have no experience with "dll" maybe a kind soul here on XDA can hook you up with this? I am glad you like them and I used custom icons in SPB Mobile Shell and really liked it but I missed some of the features of sense....I will look into the "dll" method when I get a chance so I can be of more help in the future........

Thanks i did that, downloaded gconvert and created a dll from your actual icons. I hope to be able to convert all your icons before the trial expires...lol.

Do you know what size i have to give to the ico images, so that they display correctly in the shortcuts? If i leave them just converted from the png's the ico's are way too big.
