If this program has helped you, please consider donating.
There is a new download link as the Multiupload one was broken so everyone should be able to download the file now.
Description: To help automate flashing custom ROMs onto the Samsung Vibrant.
MODS: Please do not move this to another section as this is for Android development and is installed on the users computer not the phone. Thanks!

Things to do/know before using this program:
When you select the PIT and PDA files, it should default to the installed location and if not then browse to where you installed AIO Vibrant Toolbox as the files are in there.
Have .net4 installed. Download Here.
Enable USB debugging mode- Go to settings> Applications> Development> And then check the box next to USB debugging.
Have the ROM of your desire downloaded to your hard drive (In the program, Select ROM means the custom ROM you downloaded.).
Know a little bit about flashing and ROMs.
And that's about it. Most of the instructions are given to you by the program and are not needed to be written out here. If you find any part confusing, please comment in this thread and I'll try to implement it in the next release and I'll tell you what it means as a temporary solution.
If you ever accidentally press the download mode button when you didn't mean to, just unplug your device and do a battery pull.
To perform a master clear using ODIN, after flashing the stock firmware back onto the device, leave the phone plugged into the computer and keep ODIN open. Just click Master Clear in ODIN. !This will wipe everything off of the built-in storage (besides the stock ROM and stock apps)!
Download
If there are any bugs PM me and I'll try to get them fixed.
Just in case anyone wanted them. Here are the drivers in a smaller and automated installer that I created. It's the same that's used in my program so if you have my program installed you don't need to worry about these. -32 bit -64bit
Donations are appreciated if you found this program helpful:

This is a really good idea. Nice job.

Nice to see someone making this kind of app for the Vibrant. Was starting to seem like we were the only phone without one.
P.S. What's under "Advanced"?

Thank you! I've tried to make it as beginner friendly as possible as I remember trying to flash my first custom ROM on my captivate and had to read for like 3 days straight to finally figure out an easy method to do so and figured I'd write a program to help others out.

Very nice bro. Keep up the good work!!

Initial release 2.5? no 1.0?
thanks for the program!!! i'm just messing with you.
can't wait to try it out.

looks like a fantastic app... I do have one question. Does the app take into account lag-fixes, particularly voodoo? From what I could see it does not and a new guy could easily rely on the app for protection in these regards. If not an in app disclaimer might be a worthy addition.
Great app and it will come in very to a lot of people.

Doesn't flashing back to stock with ODIN eliminate the lag fixes? That's what I always thought.

Excellent job!
Excellent, all seems good and ready to go even before I get my device this week. Now we need someone to port CyanogenMod
Effin awesome! Device shipped out today, I can't wait to start modding!
Sweeeeeeeeeeeet!!!
Tested on my adam with pixel qi and wifi. It appears to work great! Although, the up and down is reversed. One more thing, you should port over the touchscreen calibration option from the stock recovery to cwm, then it will be complete.
Great work!
cant wait to test this out, anything in particular that needs testing?

I guess any of the features in clockworkmod that are not mentioned as tested in the OP. I'm going to hopefully work on it some more when I get back from my work trip at the end of this week.

ok, Thus far I have noticed adb reboot recovery now works from command prompt on windows 64bit, it didnt work with 3e. I will do a few other tests later.
Latest update on 02/06/11 fixes the backwards button issue.
Excellent work. This is quite essential for any further developments.

I redirect to that so I don't HAVE to update multiple sites. I can update one link and be done with it. By your standards, there is a lot of spam on XDA.
Do you not update these lines anyway:
Run the update.zip(named cwmod3005_020611.zip)
Clockworkmod 3.0.0.5 for Notion Ink Adam - 020611
Its still spam.

I did this time, but as time commitments changed I'm not guaranteed to. Just like when people cross post anything I maintain on XDA to another forum. I ask them just to copy over anything they want except for the download link. Therefor, I don't have to go rounding up posts to make sure they are all up to date. They follow back to the one key place I'm maintaining them, which for the adam is notioninkhacks. The reason being the focused device forums give much more separate forum options, like bug tracking we are starting there. The reason I'm a mod is so I can test and move bug tracking items to forums.
Man, ungrateful, entitled, neurotic pricks like yourself make this hobby a lot less enjoyable.
Rothnic - please ignore daml. I don't understand why he's being so ungrateful. You're spending your personal time to release something that benefits the whole community. The rest of us appreciate the effort that you are spending putting together ROMS like this!
Keep up the great work and don't let the haters get to you!
Keep up the good work!!
Cant wait till my adam comes this week hopefully.. I will test and report anything out of the ordinary. Much love!!
Looking good - my Adam is currently 'shipping in progress' but when I get it this is one of the first things I'll be loading on there - great work!
Works great, thanks for this.
thank you.. works great for me. love the security of having my rom all backed up

Very Sorry! I have pushed them as far right as possible let me know if that works better. Sorry for the Ads just trying to pay for the hosting for the kitchen.
Works now when viewing the full site, still not the mobile but that isn't a big deal. I understand the need for the ads though! What better way to get clicks than to cover up the submit button
now though it is giving me an error "content error - the requested file is too large for conversion in the gateway/proxy". Sorry for causing all this trouble! Is there anything i can do to help?
Just want to say thanks for all of your hard work new to the ROM thing here , love Serendipity makes my phone run 1000% better than before!
Now to find the equivalent of Serendipity for my wife's xperia x10a
BTW funds are low right now but I plan on making a donation soon
Just updated to 5.10 and tried out the Add-on Kitchen for the first time. Very impressed and thanks for streamlining! No problems to report at this time.
So I've been working hard to change the look of my phone. I came across this post under the i9000 themes forum for VA Green:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11129613&postcount=811
After some tinkering I got this nice epic unlock. But the Orb and Glass unlock kept the month and date. So can anyone help me with remove that? I don't know how to edit xml, but I'm willing to learn.

The layouts for the lockscreens are in the framework-res.apk so decompile that and then try removing the <textview> that correspond to the date and time.
Used rom kitchen for the first time today. Was excellent and worked like a charm.

Nice work Chance. This was great to build a mod update pack.
Running rgb v4 kernel and serendipity 5.10. The update packages compiled thru ur site aren't updating the mods I select. Haven't tried an app but the batt mod, clear not, animations do not change
Edit: 2.6.32.9 build on the kernel
Nice work Chance x4. U 2 are what make this rom so good.

Received today new galaxy s and I want to flash it

Hi,
I received my galaxy s today and I realy like it. While using it I saw much things get a lil laggy like app market. I want information for the best Rom/Kernel and how I have to flash it. The phone doesn't have CWM or something its just new with the original android froyo. I want to make it fast and let it have more ram free and maybe overclock it an bit.
So please tell me whats the best to do and give me some guide to flash.

Lol, that's nice, you have the phone for a day and you already want to flash it. Welcome btw!
First of all, get the 3 button download mode working on your phone, and if it's working you can think about flashing. You'll also need Odin for the 1st time(it's a handy software to flash your phone).
It's quite a hard to tell everything, so all I can recommend it to search through the sticky posts in the development section(and generally everywhere). After that you'll have a rough idea what to put on the phone and how.
Hi and welcome ,
If you don't want to brick your phone, first of all and mother of all custom flasher is to read all sticky topics here (twice or more if possible, in particularly the 3 Combo one): http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=657 .
Remember it's better to ask before a flash than being sorry.
Enjoy your flashing.
Thanks for the replys,
Yes I want to flash it the first day because i had a htc hd2 before this one and I had android on it (flashed) and I liked it very much.
I have an 3 button boot and I come in an boot menu whichs looks like cwm but with less options, ill check out odin. Any rom or kernels you guess suggest?

Doc rom kitchen will help to choose the best of them the easy way:

The combo JS7/Speedmod is a good option to start.

What to do? Do I need a kind of driver?
If someone wants to help me flashing my sgs through msn send a private message please
Odin don't detect the phone, simple, and yes it's a driver issue.
No offense, but sorry i'll not help you further more until you read the basic (your issue is a part of the basic btw). Careful you'll end with a brick phone!!! (don't want to be responsible of that)

Prerequisites: The android SDK, which you can download from here: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html and the USB drivers for your phone, which you can get by either installing Kies or by downloading and installing these drivers: http://www.mediafire.com/?a6ni32dk6nn953b (password is 'ragin' -- I didn't test them, so feedback on these is welcome).

hey man nice, id be willing to try, just one thing, i already flashed the OLYFR_U4_1.5.2 SBF on my phone. will it work with that? And three more things: the kernel is still the same as with the stock "roms", i can jsut reflash the OLYFR_U4_1.5.2 SBF if something wont work/phone gets bricked, to restore it back to the "normal" state and for the last part i have the adeo mod installed right now (can i install it over that or shoudl i reflash the stock first)?
thanks, keep up the good work

I'm not sure if it'll work perfectly with the new SBF. It can't hurt to try! If you know what you're doing, the backup will save all of your /system/app and /system/framework. Then you can adb push that stuff back if your phone is borked.
Atrix cookies!!! XD lol so know what im doing at work today XD looks awesome downloading now
very nice! Finally a custom ROM! thanks!
Everyone be warned: I haven't tested this on anyone's phone aside from my own. It could be a total disaster.
I need feedback ASAP once you've installed it!

Just flash right over Adeo... shouldn't be a problem at all!
I wanted a rom like this so badly. Thank you for making it.
Once we are out of beta I will install it. (too scared)
Thanks again.
Oh snap...
I'm going to be doing upgrading of my desktop this morning, but once that's all finished, I might have to give this a go. I reflashed my phone x3 yesterday, so another couple flashes hopefully won't matter
Nice work!

When I install over Adeo, will I have to reinstall the webtop hack/hdmi mirroring? Or will I be okay?
Just flashed over adeo .1
everything seems to work fine, except the gallery app isnt showing in my app list...
love the gingerbread-ish lockscreen/theme

Sort of same question...is this like a patch or a brand new image (meaning it erases everything we have and we should backup/start over)?

Instructions for Installing
There's a few ways to get this app installed on your phone...
The easiest is as follows:
1) Open this page on your phone, scroll down to the download link, and click it.
2) Your device will download the .apk and ask you to install it. Follow the on-screen instructions.
An alternate method is to download the apk file, put it on your sdcard, then open it using a file manager on the phone.

Instructions for Use
Make sure you're on a fast connection, like wifi or 4G. Downloading over 3G may take a long time!
Open the app, and you'll be presented with two buttons:
Check version and Install recovery.
Click Check version, and accept the superuser prompt.
If you don't have Clockwork installed, it should output the installed version as "Revo Stock".
If no version is listed, STOP and post here.
Once you have determined your recovery version, you can click the "Install" button. From there you will be asked which version to install. Select the most recent version (topmost), click OK and accept the superuser prompt.
After clicking OK, do not touch your phone until the process completes! A pop-up will inform you whether the process completed or failed.
At this time, there is no way to cancel the installation process once it has started. Exiting the app will not cancel the install.
Once the install has finished, you can press Menu -> Reboot Recovery to painlessly enter ClockworkMod Recovery.

FAQ
I get an md5 error! What do I do?
For the most part, don't worry. Just don't reboot your phone into recovery, since then you'll get stuck in fastboot mode.
Just wait a few minutes and try installing again. If you're using Wifi, try using 3g/4g to download and vice versa if using 3g/4g.
I get some other error, or the program doesn't even run at all!
Make sure busybox is installed to /system/bin with the proper permissions.

3 Monitors helps
Application is coming along nicely!
Features so far:
Check installed clockwork version
Update installed clockwork
Install custom CWR version
Reboot into recovery button
Copy last logfile to SDcard
..and an easter egg
All pretty good for my first Android application
It's not that bad once you get the hang of Java...
Wow looking good already!
Looks good man. Can't wait to test if you need it.

Looks good. What's the advantage of writing your own app as opposed to incorporating your CWM port into Rom Manager?
Ooh, "Party Mode!"!

You are seriously awesome man.
Probably ease of implementation and also great practice for future endeavors

Two reasons:
1) For the LIFE of me, I can't get in contact with anyone with the power to get my CWM port into ROM manager... and
2) If it's THIS hard to get anything into ROM manager, imagine how hard it'd be for me to push updated versions to you as 'quick fixes'.
A third, and slightly less important reason:
3) It's my first Android app, and it seemed like a good project
well i cant speak for every Revo owner, But form me THANKS!
thanks for all the hard work.
I echo all the sentiments. THANKS!!!! Your work is awesome!!!
really looking forward to this!
awsome! This being my first rooted phone, im too scared to do anything until I have it backed up, including installing CWM the way you first posted. REALLY looking forward to this.
thank you. you're the reason i keep my revo. hopefully more devs will join you.
Status Update:
Okay, so Java isn't really my language of choice, else I'd have this done by now haha.
I'm having some troubles with my JSON parser, and a weird issue still with the scripts not being able to output to the log box...
However, hosting is worked out, and so is the function of "Party Mode"
Expect good things here by Friday! (had to move the deadline up a few days, wasn't feeling too well today/yesterday)
One more lovely teaser shot
Now you'll be able to switch back to the stock Revo recovery easily, just in case.
Can't wait!
