I'm using your app, it's pretty nice. I have a couple of suggestions.
First, the panorama on the first screen seems unnecessary, and makes it somewhat difficult to see shirtaday, about, and dailysteal. Maybe a vertical StackPanel inside a ScrollViewer would work better.
Second, when something is clicked, I immediately see the literal words "Item Name" and other placeholders that change once the data is loaded. The change between those placeholders and the real data is a bit jarring. I'd recommend a simple PerformanceProgressBar in the middle of the page until you have all the data, at which point you can safely display it.
These are only suggestions, feel free to ignore them Again, it's a nice app.

First and foremost THANK YOU for the feedback and constructive criticism.
I have had a rough bout getting v1.1 passed through cert, but it does include less jarring transitions, and a progressbar on each deal page for loading. I am also aware of the placeholder names, and that is on the roadmap to get rid of in the fit and polish section of my big OneNote file I have for this app
The Panorama issue was brought to my attention by another trial user. I tested it with both the trial and purchased app and have found it has something to do with the size of the panorama when the app has the ad bar on the bottom. The paid version kills the add and gives you a 3 row view, and it scrolls much nicer. The reason I went this route was for future deals it would be easy and natural to extend the pano indefinitely. That can always change – im not married to it, just like the way it looks.

Hahaha, I know how enticing a panorama control is I used it in the unreleased version of ArkWords with the beta tools. In the end, I went with a pivot, which functioned better. A pivot wouldn't work well in your case, though. Thanks for the quick reply!

My other app, BART Live (http://bit.ly/BARTLive) uses Pivot really well I think. Once there is more content, I belive the Pano will work well creating a wall of deal site icons. If I have to ditch it, I will. It currently housing a WrapPanel with a custom template that I probably should have made into a button template, but I'm a noob
And I am doing my best to reply to feedback as quick as possible. Its intresting to be on this end of the app scene and having so many avanues of contact. Makes having a smartphone super handy.
I currently have a facebook, twitter, email, and now these forums, for both apps.

Ah, good luck juggling all of that! And good luck with your apps

Thanks for the feedback and intrest. keep an eye out for v1.1!

Downloaded also. Is it just me, or does it kinda...suck? I can't even figure out how to search for a friend.
its version 1.0 im pretty sure there will be plenty of updates to catch up to other facebook apps
relax!
its finallly here!
i like it so far!
I dont know why but I always havr FC when trying to launch the app.
Anyone else haveing the same issue?
i like it, great start. widget is bit ugly, they could do to mimick the sense ui twitter widget. but im happy
It's funtional. It is a shame you can't view galleries or search for people, but it's a good start.
The Facebook Live Contacts Folder integration is awesome! It's a shame it's limited to 125 people and you can't search.
**EDIT** Also, has anyone uploaded a photo yet? Is it incredibly small?
This is NOT developed by Facebook. Click to view the developers link and it goes to a Facebook page that says "this application was not developed by Facebook"
gonna stick to bloo for a little while longer..
After reading as much info as I could find about the app, it seems Google was behind developing it but they were given access to the API's by Facebook. I was able to sign in without having to give the program special permissions, so even if it isn't developed by Facebook, it seems to be closely tied to Facebook. I guess this is as "official" of an app as we are going to get.
It's an OK start but really needs search capability...
I'm glad I can comment on feed updates - that was sorely missing on the x.facebook.com or iphone.facebook.com web apps.
As far as 1.0 releases are concerned it's pretty damn solid.

touche. be it as it may, this app is definitely streamlined and to the point. i wish it had a little more functionality, but this is definitely a SOLID base to build upon

c'mon the widget isnt that bad but i agree they should take some pointers from the htc developers
Good Lord people. Stop comparing this to the Facebook app on Hero. We will never see that level of integration on a Google build. Never. The only reason you saw it was because HTC built the contacts and dialer apks from the ground up. Google is not going to open source either of those. That level of modification and app building is not going to happen on a 3rd party level. It's just too much work for too little of a return.
I don't know about you guys but I really like it.
FINALLY!!! long over due, like it so far
I notice that we're not able to upload videos, view albums, and search friends with this official app.
i actually think its pretty ****ing great to tell you the truth
i agree its pretty solid in my opinion, plus i love the widget!

[App] Lights Off

I can amuse myself silly until I topple over dead with that stupid game. So I'm making my own version. In special LCD dotmatrix Tron style. Or something.

looks like a lot of fun!
Nice graphics too.
It looks cool!
When can we get it, I would like to write an article about it.
Let me know
Almost done. Needs a little more code polish and I need to make a quite bunch of 5x5 levels. Then I'll submit it. Hopefully as Silverlight application, it doesn't have to go through that silly XBL peer review.
It's submitted. Should be online any time, unless they find the most impossible bugs again.
Toodle do!

Looks awesome - will be checking that out today!
Looks great! Good stuff, man!
Got it! I used to be good at this game haha

Thanks for the support guys.
One of the next days I'm going to update it. Add more preset levels (it's kinda hard to make some that don't look entirely random, I don't get how the iPhone one has like 250 of them) and put a LED Banner mode into it for ****s'n'giggles.
Bought it. I suck at this kind of game, but maybe with practice i'll figure it out. Plus hey, I thought i'd support someone making apps for my phone.
Really nice application. Would be nice to have some extra options (as useless as they may sound). Some light sound effects, an option to either change the colors or to continue to have it match the user's theme color. Also, I find the screen glare effect a bit distracting, maybe an option to turn that off too.
Oh! And run under lock screen would be great too.
Oh, and while I love the tile itself, it looks rather low-res, and the slight white border doesn't really match any of the other tiles on the phone.
Just FYI: Might come off as it sounds like i'm complaining, i'm not, just making suggestions. I appreciate your work and you've done a great job thus far.
Does it lose any information, or why should it run under the lockscreen? The current behavior is that it saves its state and returns to it as it was, bypassing the start animation and all. If the app was left more than five minutes ago, it goes back to the start screen. It saves the current mode, move count and grid layout tho, simply hitting Start again should get you where left off. I figure I could bump that timeout a little higher, tho.
As far as the icon border goes, I did that because on dark themes, the dark background kinda didn't make it stand out on the home screen grid. I figure I have to think of something else.

Spent a lot of time on the UI, so Im glad it's well received. Trying to figure out some more deals to add, any suggestions on deal sites you would like to see added?
Also testing out a website companion for Deal Flux, but built for any PC user who want's to keep track of the same deals available on the Deal Flux app. Still just testing, but figure I would mention it and see if anyone found any value in it, or has a few suggestions.

[App] BootyShaker for WP7 - Gone FREE during SPRING BREAK

BootyShaker - the app uses your phones accelerometer and touch input to manipulate round object joggling as realistic as possible on any selected image.
Features:
Create new projects using pictures from your phone gallery or taken with your camera
Add circle regions to the image
Scale and rotate the image in the design window
Run your project and make the marked circle regions wiggle by shaking the phone or by touching the screen.
Set some advanced settings for your project: gravity, damping, weight, frequency
Set overlapping circle regions to merge or overlay
Save a project
There are some similar apps out there, but it was developed without any influence of predecessors, which makes this app stand out from the rest:
Objects react to actual gravity, not just the shake gesture.
User friendly UI and easy editing
Follow BootyShaker on facebook
The app has a trial option which has almost all that you need: you can save up to three projects and add two shake objects. The trial is also ad supported, which you can get rid off for just 0.99$

I am planing to finish some UI improvements and bug fixes in the middle of October. And i am looking for beta testers willing to try it out.
Please PM if you want to participate. Thank You!
Wow, they kicked my "Am I Drunk" App out that uses Facial Recognition, Voice Recognition, Accelerometer, and other items to help determine if you're drunk but they allowed this?
THAT IS GREAT, ahahaha! Terrific, glad they have a sense of humor.

ouch, did they tell you why they rejected it? Marketplace is full of drinking apps, doesn't seem like yours could be any more "evil". I was rejected too, two times. Have been struggling for almost two months, since I have no direct access to apphub.

[App] DaFox's Wallpaper App For Adroid

This is not your normal everyday wallpaper app for your phone. This is a collection of photographs taken by myself over the years. Each photo is very high resolution, most are 4000x6000 in size. These photos not only can be used for wallpapers on your phone, they can also be saved and printed out for your own use. At this moment, there is 300 images. I will be adding more as time goes by.
Please read this entire OP in full....

The best way to set a photo as your wallpaper is to save it to your device, and then crop it to your liking and applying it with your home screen launcher. After pressing the save icon, you may see "Something went wrong" pop-up, but ignore it. The photograph will still be saved, and can be found within your device's gallery. It is also possible to apply the photo as your wallpaper from within the application itself.
I also use Wallpaper Wizzardii to get the wall set how I like it. It has many option like scroll, no scroll, zoom etc. It also is on the Playstore. http://bit.ly/1xVC2cZ
Unfortunately, every phone or launcher will handle wallpapers differently, some zoom, some don't. It is not a flaw of this app.
Warning: It is recommended to only use this application while connected to WiFi, as it will consume data quickly with all the Hi-Res pictures. Also, if you are tight on storage space on your device, it may be necessary to clear the application's cache after a certain amount of time browsing the wallpapers.
There will not be many updates required for this application, because new photographs can be added instantaneously due to it being a cloud based app. If you have any issues, please feel free to email me, and I will try to help as quickly as possible.
