Hi i just wanted to talk about the HTC Hero specific ScummVM Problems in some games. In the current version we cant acces the Game-Menu, for example to save the game in Monkey Island 3. Also there are other functions we cant access, e.g. because of the missing camera button.
Is anyone in contact with the Developer Team for ScummVM on Android?
We need to get the virtual Keyboard like in the WM version, so we all can play our favourite games.
Lastest version supports right click with the search button.
Pressing the trackball won't left click by the way ...
For MI3, I enabled auto saving every 5 minutes. If you want to backup your savegames, download a file manager from the market and use it for backing up your automatic save slot.
It's just a workaround, but you can play without having to wait for the developper to update it

Edit: Figured it out, unfortunately MI3 crashes when i pick up the chocolate inside the ship...
So far I know that Chrome/Firefox to phone work and MobileDefense is working on using the new push mechanism for their software.
Just curious if anyone has heard of any other applications using it (or planning on it). I personally think this is the BIGGEST game changer with the 2.2 update. Things such as MobileDefense will no longer need to use an SMS to turn on the tracking software. It can be done silently.....
Hi guys. This is my first post! I recently created an account with XDA becasue i LOVE the work and information i get and how everyone gives each other a hand Hope this hasn't been posted befrore!... I recently downloaded the droid x multi touch keyboard on my evo. When i installed a message came up saying that the app can store passwords and credit card numbers Has anyone had any issues with this? Is this really an issue? I currently use it for texting and convert to stock keyboard when inputing personal information. I would like to use my new keyboard comfortably. Thanks!
That happens when you install any keyboard, its a precaution in android itself, because android doesnt know whether its the well known, trusted multi touch keyboard, or a keyboard filled with virus. You could install a keyboard made by google, and it would still say that.
Okay so I downloaded the app and all is well. The controller seems synced (it is in position 1, though not listed in bluetooth menu. I enable input on nesoid, but nothing happens... am I missing something stupid?

At some point I will make this more clear in the description, but to use the controller with the Droid x2, 3 and Bionic, you must enable 'Bypass IME' in preferences. As a bonus, this will also allow you to use a normal soft keyboard at the same time as the controller, as you will no longer need to switch the active IME.
bought this app last night after my post. got it up an running this morning. i'm a megaman junkie. took a little messing with to figure this out, but you just made my lunch breaks a fantastic part of my day. ))) !!!!

I think it's clear enough in the description, I suspect the op "downloaded" the v0.1 apk that's floating around the net.
Earl, I have a question about syncing. Once I sync the controller with the phone using the PC app, will I need to go through the process each time I use the controller on the PS3 afterwards, or is it like a bluetooth headset that I can switch back and forth between the PS3 and the phone based on which one has bluetooth on for pairing when I turn the controller on?
Is there a certain way I have to map the buttons? I have the IME option checked and my dpad seems to be working, but none of my other buttons like start, A, B work and Im assuming their mapped wrong but they are set to BUTTON START, BUTTON A etc dont know what Im doing wrong here
** Nevermind I figured it out. They have to be set to the hardware key mappings in the emulator its working good now

The controller can only store a single master address, and will only ever talk to that master, so unfortunately you will need to use the PC tool to change the address back to the phone before use. In theory it should be possible to change your phones bluetooth address to match your PS3 using bdaddr or some other method, but I haven't done any research into that.
Hey xda! So I just got a tv in my bedroom, so I decided I wanted to put htc's tv app back onto the phone. I had made a nandroid backup, so I was taking the apks from there. I got the app to launch, but everytime I hit the IR remote button at the top, it FC's. Also, upon launch it gives me the follow error:
"Some data downloaded from the internet was invalid. Please exit the TV application and try again."
Maybe I missed a file or something. Can anyone think of something I may have missed? I maily want to use this for the remote app. I just like the way the GUI works. Tried the peel app, and I know its almost identical, but I guess I'm just stubborn
I am running Insertcoin Kitkat 4.4.2 r253 with sense 5.5. Again, chalk it up to stubbornness, but I just like the old sense better.
EDIT: I managed to get the app running properly. it seems that for some reason the apk's had to be placed under priv-app for whatever reason. I configured the remote, and it works great for both my TV and dvd player.
One small annoyance though is that while using the my phone to control my dvd player to select a video file from the connected usb, I can only scroll up or down the list one file. if I want to pick a file 2 positions down the list, I have to push another button first, then the down button again. Can anyone think of a reason this would happen?
If no one can solve this, I could lean to live with it, and just rename whatever file I want to watch so its at the top
