Constant Market Issues - Xoom Themes and Apps

Anyone else having issues with the Market? I'll explain a little further. Anytime I purchase/pay for an app, it says Completing Checkout or whatever and then Waiting to Install...
I wait. Then I wait. I wait some more. Nothing. Sometimes it says "Please check back when Market Purchase is resolved" or something to that effect. It seems like the purchase never processes in full. On rare occassion it purchases successfully. If I go to the app and try to Install, I get Download Denied or something. Of course, if the purchase goes through successfully, it downloads just fine. It's such a struggle to purchase and download some apps. I'm getting pissed off.

I am having a similar issue whether it is pay or free. Dowloading just stops or install does not complete. No error message just stops. So far not a big deal but reported the issue through market to google (reported as an issue with market) . Hopefully its one of many minor bugs they address soon.

having issues here too, I get it when pressing install, sometimes nothing happens till the 5th or 6th time then it says connection error and I have to hit retry several times before it shows me the permissions page so i can accept the download. Thinking about returning This and waiting for the Samsung tab

for whatever its worth, the market has been doing that on my other two android devices (vibrant and droid) as well... ususaly force stopping it and clearing cache does the trick, but its annoying obviously. pretty sure its not a xoom problem per se.

Out of curiosity are you trying to download while connected via wifi or thru 3g? I noticed that I was having this problem also but only when connected thru 3g. Wifi it downloads just fine with no problems.

i am no longer able to download anything. The market on my xoom is not functional and using the web does nothing. It says it will be installed shortly but nothing ever happens. My guess is because my Market app is jacked.
EDIT: A reboot seems to have fixed the issues. After the reboot about ten or eleven apps just magically installed themselves and the Market works again.

New market doesn't work right

I got the problem, that when i want to update any single app (not when i update several apps at once) via market, the loading screen after i tap "update" is going on and on, i never reach the next page, so i can't update until there is more than one app to update. I didn't have these problems with the old market. Anyone knows what to do? I'm on cm7 #127 with cm7 kernel and 725 bb.

Tap on the app, and you should have an 'Update' button
No no, i got the first update button when i hit the app, but after hitting update there is another loading screen, after which you have to confirm the update by hitting "download & install" but it never gets to that screen, it just loads forever...

I have that problem aswell sometimes.
Usually i fc the market (hold back key for 2-3secs, you need to enable it via settings first if not done already) and restart it, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Mabye try wiping market cache/data. (didn't try it myself until now because it doesn't happen so often to me)
Yup the problems are there...me too facing update probs

Yeah i have similar issues varying from slow loading/never loading, the update button being absent though there's an update for the application, and so forth.
I've found that simply going to the web market and installing it again forces the newest version out just fine though.

That bugs me too, it's usually an app that has recently been updated already, so I think it's just confused.

In the cases i've had it definitely didn't update, most recently i got the update to Clockworkmod, but it didn't update at all, so not until i went into the market and installed it that way would actually get the new version.
That's even if i tried completely uninstalling Clockworkmod on the device and then reinstalling, it would still install the older update and claim that there was an update, which there was.
This happens to be with every newly updated app, i think the problem is directly related with the new market version.

App has stopped message to early

Since upgrading to the official ICS 4.0.4 XXLRK, quite often the OS tells me that 'unfortunately' an app has stopped and then only gives me 'Report' and 'ok' options.
In some cases I can still see the app working behind that message, and in any case I think the OS is to quick to determine this.
Were there a 'wait' option in all those cases (occasionally I get I've, but what determines that is also unclear), things would be ok, but without that option I gave to kill the app and try again.
Is there any option to tweak this feature, like the time before the OS detects a 'hung' app, it that a wait option should always be given?

I think what your experiencing are what mostly called "Force closes" or FC (abbreviated)
it's pretty much common especially when you have your ROM upgraded or updated.
What you can try to do is go to CWM, wipe dalvik, cache and fix permission and reboot. Check if your still getting FC's after.... If not.. .Then its good to go!
It seems to me that the apps are not really hung and thus don't need a force closer. It apparently happens to apps which wait for a server reaction, if the server is just a bit slow.
So if there is a way to tlc extend that timeout..
And no, I have not flashed anything other than an official OTA update and I have rooted my device by installing the superuser stuff

Hmm... I'm kinda intrigue on that apps of yours that wait for server interaction... Are you referring those to your emails perhaps? Usually when something timeouts, that means to say your phone has intermittent connection to the internet. I doubt it's on the 'server' part that is having the issue itself. Could be your data connection that times out. That is my own understanding only.

[Q] Atrix won't stop rebooting? help?

I'll try to keep this brief. Earlier tonight I downloaded the Nova Launcher on the google play store. It worked fine, I set it up how I wanted, etc etc. Well I went to looking for an app to replace the circles app on stock ICS. I found an app called "Fancy Widgets" and downloaded it. Practically as soon as it finished downloading my phone rebooted. I thought, maybe, it just needed to reboot for the app to take effect. I had to do that with a previous phone.
But no, Now my phone is just in a constant loop of boot and load to the home screen, wait 10-20 seconds and reboot. It just keeps going through this over and over so basically my phone is useless at the moment.
Does anyone know how to help this? I'm lost. If I can't get it figured out I'm going to have to stay up all night trying to figure it out because my phone is my alarm clock and I'll oversleep otherwise. So.. Please help!! Thanks!

Already tried power and volume down button (6 sec)?
Good news is the att sound works as a good alarm. I found out when mine did that. Restart in safe mode by holding down power and volume rocker then do a factory reset.

funny, I've had nova launcher working with fancy widgets when i updated my phone and it went into a reboot loop. it only happened to me when i updated the phone though
My first Atrix HD rebooted itself daily, sometimes bootlooping and causing me a lot of grief. The phone was fine for the first two days. After that, it went haywire. I would run logcats to try to determine the causes of the bootloops. I always found an error with some random app. I'd uninstall it and the phone would be fine for awhile. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that a problem with the wifi radio was the underlying cause. If not, the wifi problem and reboots were co-morbid, so to speak, and related to the same problem. I was pretty sure the real problem had to do with faulty hardware. I exchanged the phone for another. I've had this one for three days now and it just rebooted itself about 15 minutes ago. That bugs me.
I like the phone, but I think there may be an unusually high number of defective units out there. That's based solely on anecdotal information, but I believe it to be true. If anyone has any additional theories or has an explanation for these reboots, that would be a great help to me.

Yeah, I wish someone knew what the problem was. After I posted this originally at the beginning of October, I deleted Fancy Widgets and didn't have any more problems with boot loop until this week. I blamed it on my two newest apps and un-installed them, but the problem is there somewhere and I randomly reboot after installing Nova back.
This really bothers me. I had just gotten used to how I had everything set up in Nova. The stock launcher is disappointing in comparison now that I've experienced something better.

Replying to myself, but yeah..
It now looks like my issue has something to do with DoubleTwist music player. Nova worked until I tried to put a DoubleTwist widget on my homescreen and it IMMEDIATELY went into boot loop.

Stupid linkbucks and wifi problem

Since I upgraded to jellybean, anytime I go onto websites on Chrome browser 50% of the that bloody link bucks shows up saying wait 7 seconds before skipping the ad. Sometimes when I skip it, it will reset to 8 seconds, its a nightmare. It even does it to me on the XDA forums. I don't get the problem in the stock browser.
The next problem is WiFi. It doesn't seem to wake up properly when I haven't used the phone for a few hours and I have to switch it on and off to get it working again. Anyone experience these problems in Jellybean? I am tempted to go back to ICS. Was more reliable.

The second problem, a factory reset will fix it! I think you had been using smartactions at some point..
For the chrome problem, go to settings - Apps - Chrome - Clear Data & Clear cache

Loading issues??

For some reason I would constantly have issues with my One loading YouTube videos, opening up the play store, or just browsing the web. When I want to watch a video on YouTube the phone would sometimes take forever to load the list of subscribers and would usually give me an error saying "There was a problem with the network". Same thing with my play store. I would constantly have to press retry because it can't load.
Also happens with my browser sometimes when in trying to load a webpage, it just take forever to load it and would just end up giving me an error saying that the webpage failed to load! Any way to stop these crashes from happening all the time?

Are you on a Custom Rom? Maybe something went wrong while flashing..
First step: Check if deleting the app data of the apps having problems works
Second Step would be to make a full wipe.

I'm on the stock sense 5 rom. Not even rooted. I tried deleting the app data but the problem still persists.
