I think you're right. Any time I've ever seen Flash 10x was in a sense ROM and I kind of miss it being I run GB. Personally I'd like to know if this works as well and what ROM you're using this on.

yes i meant 10.1.. and yes i can confirm this works on my hero!! only oon stock though for some reason. it doesnt work on cm7 or cm6 or fresh but it does work on stock..

Flash 10.1 cannot run on our Arm6 processors. Flash lite is in some sense ROMs. It has been discussed in depth and you should be able to search and find the threads on it.

Looks like they just confirmed it runs on stock 2.1, and last I checked, flashing a rom does not change your processor.

Works on your phone. Running a stock 2.1 rom. As you can see in the discussion in the link you posted, only people with HTC phones running stock/Sense roms can run it. Flash Lite only works with Sense. Enjoy.

Unfortunately, only Motorola can do this by either releasing a 2.2 update or unlocking the bootloader.
You aren't alone, a lot of people are in the same boat.
At least we have root/overclock etc!

Didn't work for me, error during install. I think it only works on 2.1 running sense (but don't quote me on that).

We have full root. We dont have an unlocked bootloader.
Apples and Oranges.
The etc referred to the things you can do with root, overclock, apps to sd, kill processes.......

This only works for devices with Flash Lite 3.1 already installed. It replaces Flash Lite with Flash 10.1.

Htere is n o pseudo, root is root, means root privilages. Means we can do whatever we want with system folder. What we can't do is boot another kernel, so only custom roms on same kernel allowed, means no froyo for example. But someone could maky Cryogen ROM but using this kernel, that would mean quite some work.

Actually, No.
We can boot a kernel, Sort of, Inside the current kernel (Kexec)
We can't write anything past the bootloader. Nothing. We have to do everything during runtime.

i have downloaded 10.1 and it does not work with milestone ....only works with htc devices on 2.1 ...reason the are set up to run flash lite so when u add 10.1 it works the browser is the diff it is set up to work flash with 2.1 us milestone ppl must wait for froyo or someone to make a working 10.1 hack

flash lite, doesnt work on the milestone, its linked in by code with the HTC browser and well i manged to get the APk for flash lite or (hero flash) but it doenst actually work.
unless anyones knowlegable on how to edit the browser i cant see it being available.
but saying that it cannot be that easy, ive had dolphin HD, which states that it is very very flash friendly, and neither apk will allow the flash to work.

That's not true. It's just a placebo effect. Flash 10.1 doesn't replace anything.

Seriously? This is turning into the 'ask the same questiln without reading answers' thread.
Milestone can'T have Flash 10 because of the locked bootloader.
The download people have that works on 2.1 with Sense UI, which isn't native on milestone. Use lite.

Yep. I've easily installed Flash 10.1, but as already mentioned it doesn't help. The problem is that the browser itself doesn't support Flash plugin.
I am planning to buy a Windfire but the thing that would make it stand up for me (instead of a BADA powered phone) is support for flash 10 from adobe. Here on forum there is a ported flash version for Android 2.1 here.
My worry is that the Wildfire does not have the steam to run in a reasonable way flash enabled sites. I've seen demos on Desire and flash was running ok. Did anyone tested it ?
Well, the stock flash does not play any videos. (There is a youtube app, but dailymotion and others I tested are not supported and won't play in the browser.)
I did try listening to an engadget (embedded flash) podcast, but it was waaaaay slower than preferrable and even lagged (i.e: every 1-2 secs, it seemingly stopped for 1/10th).
Again, this was with the stock flash. (I don't have the phone any more.)
It works on wildfire Rom ported for HTC Tattoo, with lesser hardware, so I'd imagine it'll be fine

has nothing to do with the resolution, its about the processor.. and as far as I know it only works for armv7 processors wildfire have armv6

We used flash 10.1 ported for Sense on Android 2.1 on a Wildfire ROM which had been ported to Tattoo, which has the same CPU and resolution.
i have flash 10.x on 2.1 rom. will release a beta in a few so ppl can test

Hmm testing danne_jo's implementation and it's not working for me (on his 2.1 Sense ROM) :/
The new HTC gratia has exactly the same specs as HTC legend.
its preloaded with the new HTC sense and froyo 2.2!
any one knows whether we can port that rom over to legend so we can finally have our 2.2?

U can find it on the hero gsm thread.. I already ported it to the eris.. just a few issues.. wifi and camera.. other then that.. it flies for being a sense rom lol

Edit: Tried dsixda's kitchen, boots fine on the Legend but the WIFI and SDIO drivers needs work
I also managed to create a bootable ROM with the xda kitchen and using the porting tools. Running really fast for Sense ROM. WiFi not working and SD card cannot be mounted. Getting the same performance as CM nighlies according to Linpack and Quadrant.

They are using a Broadcom chipset, if I'm not mistaken.
That one is incompatible to the TI radio used in the Legend.

Yes my ROM is booting fine with CM kernel. The major problem is that the SD card cannot be mounted. WiFi and FM radio are not so important at this point I think. I assume you're more experienced in cooking ROMs and could advise on this.

See above or the 31DEC release of it that was done by CM. I think it was the last 6.2 entry of the Froyo releases. Although, rumor has it that they picked up on the Froyo nightlys again. Might want to check that out too.
Come check out the latest Gingerbread when you get the chance. It's making great progress!!

On aospcmod, it's pretty much almost set, just have problems with trying to play more than 5 YouTube vids. But there is a work around. I haven't had time to try out the cm nightlies but they have a thread in the dev forums about both

If the browser doesn't work download Opera or Dolphin. Will work just fine. We optimized that rom to run pretty damn good in these old heros. Just don't fill up the home screens and tons of apps or it will bog down.

The Sensible Gingerbread says to flash FR-recovery. What is that? I currently have ROM Manager and the Clockwork Recovery. Whenever I try to flash Sensible Gingerbread with that, it reboots into recovery every time I try to reboot it.
firates is just a tool that partitions your sd card for better memory management theres a thread in development on how to set it up.
