I incorrectly backed-up the bundled apk files on my Samsung Galaxy Tab (Verzion). Can anyone give me a copy of their original bundled software, especially; News and Weather, Blockbuster, AllShare, Daily Briefing, Let's Golf, N.O.V.A., Slacker Radio, V Cast Apps, V Cast Music, V Cast Song ID, VZ Navigator. I deleted these out of /system/app to make room for some of my own apps. I need a copy of the original apps to restore if/when I re-sell the tablet.

I tested a Nexus 1 for a while - was very happy with it but bought a Samsung Galaxy instead.
I'm disappointed with all the Samsung-styled apps such as the phone app (contacts being a separate app), music player etc.
Is there a way to get the "native" apps into my I9000?
Or is there a ROM that has all the "original" apps?
I tried Darkys ROM - which in the newest edition has a keyboard similar to the Nexus 1 keyboard - much better than the Samsung breed. But the phone and music app are still the silly Samsung adaptions.
answering my own question - finally switched to Cyanogenmod and this has all the original Google apps on. Not sure though if it is not possible to just install the original Google apps via .apk files
This will be my first tablet - the i815 LTE version (Yaaay) What are your must have apps? I'm sure to come up with some more, but can't wait to load up Torque in the car, for sure!

Not sure if there are specific apps i use on my Galaxy tab that i wouldnt use on my Galaxy S2 but these are some essentials i use
Titanium backup for backups
Some Officepack for filereading
ES File explorer for copying files and connecting to FTP/SMB
Chrome for awesome web-browsing
Podkicker för Podcasts
Tapatalk for the forums
G-tasks for tasks etc
Spotify for musik
Instagram (is better in a tablet, bigger images )
Tablet SMS, (and Desksms on the phone) for smsmanaging on the tablet.
Swiftkey 3 tablet keyboard
and ofc "speed test" since its an LTE tablet

Given that I've now seen the infamous camera video bug (permanent zoom) on ICS with my own eyes...is this a driver issue or would a third-party camera app bypass the problem?

I just bought the new galaxy tab 10.1 wi fi,
According to the samsung site, allshare play is supposed to be pre-installed on my tablet, but its not, it only has allshare.
How can I get this app for my tablet?
The website wont even let me sign in from my web browser, never mind doenloading the app!
Check to see if its not disabled. Go into settings, application manager, and click on the ALL tab. Look for it in there. You should have an Allshare service and an Allshare Play listed. If its disabled it will be at the bottom of the list.
You can also look in the /system/app folder and see if the apk files are in there.
You should have 3 total:
-allsharemediaserver.apk
-allshareplay.apk
-allshareservice.apk
If you don't have it I can post a dropbox link to download it
allshare comes in 4.0.3 , allshare play comes in 4.0.4.

I have a new Galaxy Tab S2.
I have trouble updating the preinstalled apps with Play Store.
In brief:
With my old smartphone (HTC One M8), after I reset the phone, I can go to the Play Store (My Apps) and it shows more than 30 updates. With the new Galaxy Tab: No Updates.
Only after I install 1 app, it shows if this one app is up to date. If I open a preinstalled app it may be that the software redirects me to the Play Store and that I can install an update for this single app.
What's with that?
In detail:
Usually (on my Nexus and HTC smartphones) I go to "My Apps" in the Play Store and I can see all the installed apps that can be updated, or not. Like for example: Google Drive, Chrome, Google+, Hangouts, ...
But with my Galaxy Tab I see no apps. Only if i manually install an app (like for example VLC for Android, then I see this single app in the list of "My Apps". If I install another app, then I see VLC and the other app. But not the preinstalled ones.
What's going on? I don't understand it.
Maybe the preinatalled apps are tied to the Galaxy Store
