Frequency boost on tilt

I traded my Moto q9h for a Tilt...is there a way to boost the frequency search on the tilt like on the q9h secondly i have the new jawbone headset the sound quality really sucks on it is there a way to fix it
Yuo really should search the forum first before posting things that have already been answered numerous times. To improve your signal, I assume that what you mean, flash a new radio. I highly recommend the one I'm using, listed in my sig. To improve quality with your bluetooth set, use advanced config or kaiser tweak to change the settings. Both of these things have a ton of info available in the Wiki's
I already look through the forums tried the tweaks and have the newest rom from att

Why should i change radio?

Hi!
What will change if i flash the radio? There is a lot versions out there, but i dont know why i should change, what are the benefits?
Which version should i choose?
Radio 1.10.25.18
Radio 1.11.25.71
Radio 1.11.25.76
Thanks in advance!
read the radio's thread
search for it, should be on the first or srcond page of this subforum
Yeah, i found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=439566 but i still don't know why i should change radio? What are the benefits?
Well done for finding the thread, now try reading it
I just did this for just the first 4 pages, and so far have figured out that people are discussing and comparing the effect different radios have on GPS sensitivity & fix time, signal strength/quality, battery life, and other issues.
If you have fine reception, battery life & GPS performance, there's probably little point trying new radios.
Best bet is to keep reading that thread & others about radios (plus wikis) - you'll learn a lot more so you can make a more informed decision.

Need a good radio

Hi everyone! My Diamond is running Radio version 1.12. My reception is horrible in my area, where it usually is not. I'm looking for a different radio to try out. I can't seem to find any CDMA radios for the Diamond anywhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Also, does anyone know of a good Cricket Rom for the Diamond?
Go to Google, type in Roms for cdma htc diamond, then click on the first link (pocketpcGeeks) once the link comes up notice in the top section cdma radios choose one.
Thanks! I'm usually pretty good at seeking out radios and roms, but the diamond doesn't seem to get as much attention as other CDMA phones.

Nexus one potential

Copied thread from another forum but there were no good answers and I know I'll get better answers here. So the question is, what can we expect from the Nexus one based on the hardware and the future google/developers software creativity?
From what I've seen:
- FM radio
- 720 recording
- better gingerbread UI
Also what is the likelyhood that we'll see the features from Google (un-rooted update)
(I know the information is available in other threads but it would be nice to have it all in one thread and also people knowledgable can speculate from what they know about programming)

Unrooted pretty much guarantee, just a question of time.
Rooted: gingerbread for sure. 720 most likely, I'd say. FM Radio - if google wanted it there, it'd be a part of 2.1 or 2.2 already. Something makes google not put FM radio there.
Any Nexus will see Gingerbread.
Non-rooted most likely won't see 720p recording, and almost certainly won't see FM radio. The purpose of the phone is to be developers' phone, so these features are very low priority for Google.
Rooted will most likely see both, since it only depends on the community, and both features are in quite advanced stage.

New Radio?

Hi Guys
Flashed a few roms on my sexy nexy but my brother had recently flashed a radio and told me of the signal improvement. I'm using Kang O Rama rom and wondered whether anyone could suggest a good radio to flash?
Cheers for any help

First one to say it: Wrong Section
Should be in Q&A.
But, to answer your question, I have seen that it really depends on your own experiences with each radio. I found that none of the 5.XX radios worked well for me. So, I'm running the older radio. But mos people say that the newer ones are better. So, you should just try them out. Just be careful when flashing
Cheers for that. I noticed that I had posted in the wrong forum straight away but didn't know how to move it with tapatalk.
Thanks for the info. Anyone got any recommendations?

same here:
5.12 horrible battery and terrible internet speeds
5.08 terrible battery
4.xx no problems
and the same bad reception on all of them
=> UNLESS you actually have a PROBLEM with the radio, leave it alone!
5.12 radio here, wonderful battery and blazing speeds. No problems at all.
