Snap

ha they had a sale a few months ago, 16bg class 8 for like $28, free shipping. always a great place for a good deal!

I always keep an eye on newegg. I've spent... a LOT of money at newegg haha.

Meritline often has great deals on MicroSD cards too!

Woot can be quite dangerous, especially combined with the shirt site.

I love newegg. I got all my computer parts from there.

Thought I'd share... Kingston 4gb microSDHC for $12.95 shipped

Use a new Google Checkout account and choose the free shipping to get it for $12.95
Awesome. I just got one.
I ordered one as well
Great find! It's also a class 4 card which is certainly quicker than a standard class 2 variety.
Thanks for the find. Mine is on the way.
I tried getting one, but they are all sold out, and the price is $22.95 and there is no option for google account anymore..
Looks like it's over. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did since I pulled it form slickdeals.net and those deals usually end in a couple of hours.

is 12 bucks for a 2gb Micro SD Delivered a good deal?

I h ope I'm not breaking a rule. I just want to share this deal with my brothers and sisters of xda.
http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/819065/
Yes, $12 is a good deal! to bad I couldn't get that deal a year ago. I have since moved on to the 8gb Micro SD and find anything less than 4gb useless to me as I cant fit all the music and movies on it.
Thanks for sharing.
WOWZERS, I wish I was leet enough to get a 8gb. I find that I can't watch a ton of movies on the phone so I don't carry a lot of them, I can stream my music and movies via orbit and sirius, etc etc. So 2gb is enough. Now I will have a spare card.
I have (2) 1gb, (1) 2gb, (1) 4gb, and (1) 8gb Micro SD cards and I'm sure I'll get the next larger one that comes out just because I like making my Tilt happy. So I don't spoil myself, I spoil my Tilt...
4gig micro for 15 after rebate. 20 before

I my case, it was 42€ (66 USD or 33 GBP). Bought it in Austria, in Slovenia costs 60+€.
soon 16gb will be released

probably a fake
seems good if its not fake, can always try researching a bunch of estores and compare prices or use pricewatcher or pricegrabber, etc to find best price.if you arent worried if you could be spending a lil bit over what its worth then go for it
Funny thing about these cards.... In a couple months people will complain about those prices. lol
6GB here and it works great.
thats a good price. Make sure that card wasn't anwhere near the fires of Mordor in Frodos pocket or something. That's hella cheap though.
$8.99 for 2 gig
http://www.supermediastore.com/pqi-2gb-micro-sd-microsd-transflash-memory-card.html
get what you need, dont get what you need.prices will come down and capacities get larger and larger

8GB Class 6 MicroSD = $20 w/ Free shipping

http://www.meritline.com/pqi-8gb-micro-sdhc-class6-with-adapter---p-34293.aspx?source=s2010
Meritline is an awesome site. I order tons of stuff from there (especially their 3 packs of HDMI cables, usually with coupon for 6.99)
But there shipping is quite slow unless you live close to California. or can wait for things to arrive from the Far East. (Hong Kong, Singapore, China)
The other thing is their customer service is top notch!
For just a couple more dollars you can get one from Newegg if you are in a hurry...
I got a class 2, 8 GB card at my local electronics store for $17. Don't waste money/effort getting your hands on a class six because the Hero won't read it at it's native speed.

That is false, and frankly I'm damned sick of hearing that BS repeated over and over. The "class 2" thing comes entirely second-hand from some user who apparently got a note from a random low-level customer service rep saying something to that effect. Well it's not true.

The Hero is fully capable of exceeding the read and write capacities of a Class 2 card. My Hero maxes out at about 2.5 - 3 MB/s writing to the included Class 2 card, but easily reaches 6-8 MB/s using my aftermarket Class 6 card.
Definitely, definitely, definitely get a Class 6 card, whatever size you buy. It's absolutely worth it.
Anyway, NewEgg will ship you an 8GB Class 6 card from the US for $22.95. I'd recommend that instead.
Great find! Thanks!

Assuming you mean the Transcend card, I got it at amazon at roughly the same price after shipping...and I'll +1 that recommendation.

Even if that wer the case (which is not), then you try and buy stuff hard proofing it for the future, so the logical way would be to buy a class six card, which you can use when in the future you dont have a Hero anymore and do have a phone that "supports" class six.
Even less expensive!
Meritline has another brand Class 6 8GB for a dollar less (with shipping)! Only $18.45.

This is not a deal. If you think it's a deal you're new to the internet. I got a SanDisk 8GB Micro SDHC Class 6 for $18 shipped from new egg. Keep your sights on dealnews.com for micro sdhc deals.
On top of that Meritline is good but has insanely cheaply-built knock-offish type stuff. Got my sdhc card reader from them for $0.98 shipped. See what I'm saying here?

His was also Sandisk, that's noteworthy.
I know a lot of people have good luck with Trancend, Adata, etc... but I try my hardest to stick with Kingston or Sandisk for my SD cards.

Well that just make me look foolish.
My point mine was not a deal, it was quite standard pricing; therefore, neither is yours.
Here, this makes it easier:
Take Your pick!!

Cheap, GENUINE, 32gb SD Card.

32gb class 2 sd card. 65$
Totally genuine, tested it with h2testw.
Working perfectly with Android+WP7 dual-boot.
Have had it for about a week and a half, no problems at all. Go to the link to get more information.
I wanted to thank you but, "Sorry, you are limited to five thanks per day"

no, it's because the seller relisted the item, but he's sold a lot of 'em.
When i bought it, he'd sold at least 12.
You can thank me later
Too bad the shipping charges are very high for International orders!
Not worth it with 22$ shipping, sadly. If shipping was 10 bucks I would... Then again, Class 6 or bust for me!
yeah, didn't know shipping was so high for international, as i paid the 8$ it says there.
A pity, it's a great SD card, so if you're in the US, buy it
has anyone bought from the following seller?
http://cgi.ebay.com/Sandisk-32GB-Mi...gital_Camera_Memory_Cards&hash=item1e612fa0d1
i have seen way too many fake cards and am trying to be cautious. the placement of class 4 logo made me a little suspicious.

32GB micro SD class 4 SanDisk
I recomand this seller, very good experience ( very guick shipping, very good sd, good price).

thanks very much for sharing your experience. i saw that one too but i wasn't sure. so you're satisfied and think he's selling a genuine sandisk card? i have problems in the past and trying to be careful this time around.

I got 1x16GB and 1X32GB both genuine, and very quick shipping (4-5 days to Belgium). The 32GB already 1 month working very smooth in my Trophy.
Unfortunately every large memory card I have purchased of Ebay has been fake, either 2gb reworked to show as a 32gb but still only holds 2gb or a cheap nasty card classed as Sandisk or such like, Im not saying these are fake but I would use Paypal where available, this at least gives you some protection.

Geez, I thought I might be doing someone a favor.
thanks for the tip
Ebay is the land of fake memory cards, YMMV
A 98.9% positive rating sounds pretty favorable to me.
The problem is that the price is nothing special. You can get the same or better at Amazon for example, and that is for non-sales. On sale I got mine for $11 with shipping, and sold directly from Amazon.
Yeah, but can you get a Sandisk for $11? From what I have read on this board, Sandisk is the best bet.
