Help with charging issue. - Kyocera Zio M6000

My zip has been doing this weird thing for a week now and I have no idea what its about. Has anyone experienced this before?
When my zios Battery dies I plug it in and come back in a while try to turn it on and it won't start but the led just flashes red. The only way it will start is if I unplug it the start it. Also this week my phone will say its charging without being plugged in... charging light and all. One last thing the battery display gets stuck and displays 100 all day.
What could be causing this? Thanks for any help!

bad battery

Try recalibrating your battery. If that doesn't solve it then a new battery would be the way to go. You can find them for cheap online

Could you post a link to the instructions on how to do this?

Factory reset and a stock restore fixed it

No battery

Hello I have a verizon droid no longer in use since its battery pretty much crapped out doesn't charge causes random reboots. However it does work without a battery and I need a way to get some sort of recovery on it t flash roms but everything I use says low battery cannot proceed. Is there any workaround for this?

I believe you can try getting into recovery by plugging it into a wall charger, but I'm not 100% sure. Worth a shot.
Tried getting a new battery? Or borrow a friend's one

Phone Acting weirdly - Flickering, Battery issues, Random Restart

I keep shifting from rom to rom but never had a problem. Recently after I shifted to Utacka's PA I have been having issues with the phone. Sometimes the battery charge drops to zero suddenly. Sometimes the phone screen flickers with bands across the screen and sometimes it just restarts on it's own. Even after shifting to Alliance's JB i get the similar issues. PLEASE HELP
Pullout the battery, is it bloated? Download betterbatterystats and check for what's using the battery most at these times, first place to start in guess.

Agree... if that will not work, try to shift to again to other rom.

The battery is a little fatter in the centre. I just hope its a battery issue and not some corrupt motherboard..

Does your phone think its charging even when not plugged in. If so it's your USB charge flex board. It would show as battery plummeting to zero charge indicator flashing on off and in settings about phone status it would switch from charging to disconnected

[Q] hot phone, not charging

Hey guys need some advice here. My one just recently hit 120F the other day and now that's a norm when charging. (screen off charging) Also, it will not charge even overnight, after about 6 hours the battery went from ~14% to 64% and the led was blinking red, battery indicator did not show that it was charging.
What can I do on my end? I know I'll probably have to get it replaced but I just wanted to know if there's anything else that will fix it.
Thank you

Try charging with the phone powered off. I know this might help cuz you need your phone on but it's the only option. After that send it back.

Blinking red while charging means the phone is too hot to charge. Wait until it cools down and try again.
You can also try a "battery pull" by holding down the power button while the phone is on until the capacitive button lights start blinking and keep holding it until it turns off. Temp sensor might be stuck.

Yeah ill try doing it powered off. It's weird cuz that's how I always charge it, but hey its hitting 100F ambient temp here so maybe that's it. My phone also gets super hot when watching a video and can drain a full battery in about 1:30 hours

Might try a battery stats app and see if something is running away on you. I occasionally use opera browser and found it would kill my battery really fast with the screen off if I didn't actually exit out of it - can't ever leave it in the background. Maybe you have something similar...

Are you using the stock power adapter?

maybe try doing a nandroid backup and then factory resetting before an overnight charge to see if it the same on a clean phone...

Battery draining extremely fast

Hey guys I'm having this issue with my phone.. I'm on stock Rom but have modifications on it.. rooted..soffed.. etc but this really weird thing is happening like I charge my phone then I unplug it but don't use it.. after like 3 minutes u check on it and it's 90% .. happens every Time... Maybe it's a battery problem ?

Do you have any battery monitoring apps? Something has to be eating the crap out of your battery, I'd recommend GSam battery monitor.. see what is using your battery and adjust accordingly, May need a Rom reflash if all else fails.

It's called trickle charging. Phone charges to 100% then drops to 90% before starting the recharge. The phone will show 100% though because otherwise, the forums would be flooded with people saying "MY PHONE/CHARGER DOESN'T WORK OMG"

Battery not charging completely

My battery has been acting up for the past few days. It will charge up to 71 or 74% and then stay there...if I unplug and replug from usb it will start charging again for a little while(1 or 2%) and stop until I unplug and replug again.
I've tried recalibrating the battery and nothing...bought a new battery and it is still the same. Changed ROM and still the same.
Any of you guys had that happen or have any advice on what else to try? Thanks for the help!

Try dialing *#0228# in the phone app and then press the button at the bottom and restart the phone
Thanks...have you tried that before?

Lol yes... Thus why I suggested you do so. But it's up to your discretion
Got scared with the message and dud a little research...can't hurt I guess! Lol thx!

Odin the stock DOK2 ROM fixed the battery issues...
