[Q] Any changelog for redstar kernels???? - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I dont know if this is the right place to post this question but anyways... i've been using redstars kernels on the N1 for a while and know that his kernels are hosted at restar.euroskank.com but there does not seem to be any changelogs for his nightlies???
Is there a site or blog which has the changelog to what his new kernels bring????

Not that I know of but you can just look thru the commit history on his GitHub source repo to get an idea of his changes.

[ROM NIGHTLIES] CM7 not by crackflashers or cm just straight nightlies

I am aware that there is a thread about crackflashers makeing nightly builds. I repect their thread and have nothing against it since I did not really try their rom yet.
I am compiling CM7 for the evo as well just i want to hlp those non compilers get a non tweaked 100% stock CM7 Nightly.
I will be makeing add ons such as battery % and things of that nature.
They will not be prebuilt but instead will be add-ons
For now i do not have an INC to test the builds myself (hopefully i will after donations! : )
Someone with an INC and good wifi spee please PM me to become my official nightly tester. I will be compiling everyday and will actually be makeing a changelog.
First build will be comeing tonight i just need a tester. It is already compiled just need someone.
Follow me on Twitter for early releases and live changelogs. Also will be able to give you guys live help through XDA and Twitter.
I am not starting a war just want to help those who actually want a changelog, some help when needed and some fun add-ons.

Nightly 01/12/11:
Build 1
All credit to CmTeam and Cyanogen Himself. I only take credit for building compiling changelogs and addons!!
Changelog
Build 1 (Nightly 01/12)
-Initial Release
-Nothing but stock
Thread closed for cleaning and to determine whether it should be re-opened at all. Not too happy about a dev that doesn't own the device he's cooking for. May not be any word till tomorrow PST.

Where to get official Kernel source code?

I'm looking to build the kernel from source for the hd+ but I can't find the actual official b&n source code. I see Fattire posted some source but not for the actual kernel.
Does anybody know where I can download official b&n kernel source code for the HD+ please?
Thanks for your help

If you look through verygreen's CM10 thread, I think he posted the source location somewhere in his thread.
Hi and thanks.
I went through the thread and all I can find is 2.0.0 not a recent one. I just want to build from source so I needed original kernel source and sgx source as per verygreens build instructions.
Anybody got an actual link to the source please?

Scroll down the page about a quarter of the way.

Ok, lately we have seen a lot of roms being posted that do not have kernel source links.
Be advised that XDA requires that you post kernel source when using non-stock kernels.
Stock Kernels
If your kernel is stock and not modified in any way, then you may post the link to the manufactures source (if available). If not, then state the kernel is stock.
If you have re-compiled the stock kernel, then you must have a link to your Git Hub with changes listed.
All others, including CM, AOKP, PA, etc
Link to your Git Hub, or which ever Git Hub or source you used. Along with changes. DO NOT just post a link to CM's site. Be specific which source you used.
All links to source must be links to a compilable kernel that works and matches what you have included in your rom. If you have "Cherry Picked" from other sources, please ensure you have their permission to do so, and, give credits when necessary.
Generally XDA will allow you 5 days maximum to post your kernel source. Please do not abuse this.
Failure to post kernel source will result in the ROM thread either "disapproved" or "Thread Closure" with all download links removed.
Most of you know the rules and GPL, so please abide by them.
Thank You for reading.

[Q] building novafusion.pl cm11/kernel

Hi,
I would like to build kernel based on novafusion github sources. I want to look at some btle and NFC stuff, so i wondered if anyone is building from there? And if so how do i get all sources cloned? I figured most things i would look at is kernel, so building that would be a perfect start. But eventually i would like to do complete builds.. So a full guide to getting the correct sources would be great
I am a newbie to building Android, have done it for my defy+ though.

Yeah, I am trying to get source from novafusion's github, but I have trouble figuring out how the Novafusion repo's are tied together and once kernel builds I will need to figure out the same for CM11 I think. I would have expected to get a manifest from one of their repo's but that does not seem to exist? (As noted I am a newbie to android and the repo tool, but I am no stranger to coding)
So I wondered if anyone have cloned and built the sources.. If so I would be gratefull for a guide to how I get a local build up and running.
P.s. I have not yet had time to try and put together a manifest myself - Or ask one of the novafusion guys to share theirs, but I thought there might be a general interest in this.. And I figured that there must be someone having it up and running.
