[Q] Touch Diamond to become like Android? (Eg: Gingerbread) - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

I have been searching through the ROMs in development for HTC Touch Diamond. It appears that some are outdated since this phone is old. My girlfriend asks if there is a android ROM compatible and stable for this ROM? If there is, can you please link me to it?
I am hoping it is also to latest, such as Gingerbread on Android.

Please give me answers, i'm confused on wich rom i have to install !
You can't really be told. It's personal preference.
As it stands, the only fully functional Gingerbread option is the official (or a slightly tweaked official) offering.

[Q] Best Firmware for Acer Liquid?

Hey guys,
I haven't upgraded my Acer Liquid in a while, the last ROM I loaded on was the BETA version of Froyo 2.2.
What is the best ROM/Firmware for my Acer Liquid now? Could you please direct me to a download?
I see a lot of different roms been thrown around but I need to know what is the best, opinions?
Thank You
I think you have to search at liquid.modaco.com. Some gingerbread rom and others.
Yeah, latest MIUI, LeoGinger, and CM7.0-Kang (my current choice atm) are all good roms me thinks. And also i've read that you should avoid the VFIT-based rom because of battery drain.
LeoGinger + 1
the most stable and problem-less 2.3 rom in my experience

[Q] Poll: Most stable Rom

I'm here, i'm human, i'm confused. I want to upgrade to the most stable android rom or revert back to webOS because my Touchpad has been unusable for 2 years. It's just been sitting...
Where do I start? Is there an active chat or clear tutorial? What's the simplest way to upgrade? i never flashed the rom myself.
Poll: Most stable rom / os (android or other)?

I want to use it for school so it must be stable.
I'm on CM 9-20121007-Nightly

New Device Roms, Dev Ubuntu Touch
I am curious about this as well. I would love to use Ubuntu Touch on my Nexus 6. I thought it would eventually be officially supported, but haven't seen anything yet. Any one got this working and if so what functionality because searching gives little results.
Thanks
doesn't look like its for lollipop. all I see on the git is for 4.4.2

there seems to be a leaked rom for another phone. i wonder if this helps?
I'm no expert by a long shot, but doesn't that device use the older version of Android as well? At least the android counter part.
I am super excited about Ubuntu Touch. Now that it has released for real I'm thinking this thread needs a look.
BUMP!
Ubuntu Touch is based on Android 4.4.2. The Nexus 6 never shipped with Android 4.x. So there is an additional complication that no one has figured out how to solve. You need to build a kernel and base from the 4.4.2 source code, which... doesn't exist for the nexus 6 or newer devices.

Running new apps on old OS

I would have simply updated the app but it is apparently not compatible with my device since this phone runs on an older OS.
The newest version of snapchat requires at least Android 4.0
Is there any possible way I can update my OS on my exhibit ii from my current version, 2.3.6. to Android 4.0?
I read a lot of posts about rooting and such but I really don't understand what it is or how to do it
If someone could provide me with a fix for the snapchat issue (running it on my current OS) or detailed instructions on how to safely root my device to run Android 4.0 on my phone then I will be the happiest girl in the world!
Please please please help! I just want snapchat back
