thank distan

its to hard pleasee tell me how to do this on Andro-IDv3.2
PS: i havent rooted my phone but i have in andro-idv3.2 a app called superuser

i think it'll work on andro-id too....but is ur sd card partitioned? are u using a2sd?

Second partition must be called ''sd-ext'' to use this.

move download cache to sd-ext using s2e or darktremor a2sd and it will be solved...

Give me a tip !!! to move apps on SD

i installed Froyo 2.2 via cyanogen link
but running on ths Rom, unable to move apps on SD..
help me out pls~
According to Google, the OS will automatically decide whether an app needs to be moved or not. For instance if it is more than 20 MB, the Move to SD button will be enabled.
thx 4 helping me dude..
u r d only one who reply to me hehe..
i've already figured it out!

[Q] Short of space

Hello,
I was wondering yesterday why my hero (2.1) noticed short available space
I checked the app manager and 3 of them seem very very big
- contact: approx 15MB
- twitter: approx 19MB (unistall + re-install = 3.5MB)
- google maps: approx: 9MB
Is this normal?
Can you advise me how to reduce the size af these apps? (its not a pb of cache)
Thanks !
Just get app2sd on the market and move all movable apps to the sd card.
Sent from my HTC Hero using XDA App
You may try to delete the files used by the app from application manager in settings..
that may help you..

sure, it works... however I'm not sure if you need to root your phone first...
this is a little late, but if the Move To SD Card button is pressable, does that mean they are movable? I did it once and lost all icons for my apps? >.<;

[Q] low space problem !

any ine can help me with internal low memory bug
The problem here lies when you download apps from the market. The phone caches the apk to a folder in you root "/cache/download (or downloaded)" when you are downloading an app from the market. What happened there is that the apk of the installed app wasn't cleared from "/cache/download" so if your rooted your best bet would be to go to the said folder and delete any apk there.
Get back to me if I helped.
Galaxy ace X The End V3 deodexed X LagFree X Adrenaline boost X Beats Audio mod.
Download marketfix from market then run it then voila

thx but my problem not with the market bug
i think i read a thread that make me :
1.partition my SD card
2.install link2SD.apk
3.do some steps to fake the phone and make one of the partitions like an internal memory
any body read any thing like that ?
Yes, that is what you need to do. Your step.3 is done by link2SD so once you install and configure link2SD it should all just work ;-)
I think you need to start from scratch. Have you partitioned your SD card first?
Btw, give more details when you ask a question here.

Make an second partition on sd through cwm, first format your sd card.
Then install link2sd(thats my personal favourite) or any other app of this type and then move your apps to second partition.
Voila! All apps moved to sd.
If u want to fix low internal memory message then try market fix app from market. Its free.

Done....Thanks Guys For Helping
You can use s2e, look for the apk somewhere and ready a cwm made partition on your sd.

hmm so let me get you straight. You want more space for apps? If so why put bugs on the thread name? O.O

Hhi There,
Well there are a lot ways to free up memory inGalaxy Ace aka Cooper. The easiest way is to type this code and choose ''run dumpstate'' the 2nd option. Type this code *#9900#. This will free up memory.
If Helpful then click thanks.
Good Luck

How to install NFS:MW?

Sorry if its been asked and resolved earlier. I just downloaded the apk and sd data for NFS:MW. Now the internal memory left on my dhd is like 866MB. And the extracted sd data is around 1.86gb! Where should I move it?? I mean i cant really move it to /data/data/com.nfs...... as there is no space. I have link2sd and a 4gb ext2 partition but not sure how and where to move this sd data.

Useless but funny reply! Just because I don't wanna download game data directly on the device (IDM works way much faster) doesnt mean I got a pirated copy. BUT PHLLEEAAASE can you shed some light over "Google Apps" in Custom Roms HERE...even the one you're using on your Inspire? Thanks for the reply though...gonna keep this thread alive for a while
Issue solved!! Mods pls remove the thread.
Thanks

[Q] D2SD for cm10.1

Does anyone know of a script or app that mounts \sd-ext as \data that doesn't bootloop rohan007's and erikas's cm10.1 for galaxy mini?
script can't do it and one needs to make changes in the kernel
You can use S2E in CM10

Thanks

Thanks. I'll ask rohan007 if he can modify the jellaxy kernel. Then we can live with our low memory devices!

I already tried it but when I try to install apps through Play Store, File manager or ADB I get insufficient memory error even though I have more than enough space. ~95mb free internal and ~1.64GB SD-EXT.
In Settings>about phone>partion info Free space shown as -12457720mb?
If you know what the problem is pls let me know. I'm having to use link2sd which slows down phone and crashes play store after app install.
A2SDX by michie was perfect in cm10. I flashed cm10.1 as it is miles better. Now A2SDX results in no wifi. Any other script bootloops. It's really annoying. You can't use a galaxy mini properly with the dreaded 'low memory error".
Any working script really appreciated.
