definitely, unlocked means h+ on 850/900/2100 mhz bands and I'm pretty sure t-mobile 3/4 g is on the 2100 or 900 mhz band

Nah, T-moUS is 1700/2100 AWS band for HSDPA. The phone is indeed 850/900/2100 for hsdpa.
it'll work fine on edge though, cos it supports 850/1900 on that.

well doesnt that f-ing blow .. i just bought then immediately sold the infuse 4g for that reason .. now i just bought this for no reason? .. edge network blowssssss

Not meaning to sound like an arsehole here, but if you'd just got burned with one phone, why didn't you check before buying the next one?

To all Rogers users in GTA...

Have any of you guys ever got LTE signal on your raiders?
Ive had this phone for 3 months and i still havent ever seen the LTE symbol next to the reception bar...just 4G at most.
I live in Markham and the rogers map says its LTE covered but still..
Before I switched to chatr I definitely was able to use LTE. Mega fast, too! Faster than my bell fibe home internet lol.. I'm wondering if u have an LTE sim or not..? Did you get the sim new with the raider or was it from another phone?

You also need an LTE-ready plan, i.e., not all their data plans are LTE capable.

I got a new sim when I got my evo3d..didn't get a new one with my raider.
I also have a 6 gb data plan
Is that not LTE ready?
Don't think that 6GB plan is LTE ready. They have specific data plans for LTE
Ya u need to be provisioned for LTE

I'm on Bell with my Raider and I get LTE signal in strange areas. The coverage maps lie, Bell or Rogers. I work on the east end of downtown (Regent Park area) and sometimes I get LTE signal but most of the time it's HSPDA+. The LTE speeds are nuts but it drains battery much faster.
I live in Markham and I've never gotten LTE signal anywhere north of the 401.
All Bell plans are eligible for LTE speeds but you need to have an LTE sim.

+1 to that. If you install a One X rom, you will end up with a very expensive imported brick It's not a question of rom. Each device has a radio, this radio supports diffrent radio bands. Usually there are EU/US/Asian versions of each device, each one supporting diffrent radio bands. But there is no US version of the Sensation XL, so you will never get 3G no matter what you try, as the hardware does not support it sorry

T-Mobile

i live in Dallas,TX metro area; according to TMobile's 4G coverage map, my location is rated Excellent for 4G/4G-LTE service. doesn't T-Mobile primarily use the 1700 band for 4G LTE?

[Q] No 4g/LTE

Hello. I have just bought a One with Sprint, I tried several Roms and never I Reached 4G in Spain. When I selected LTE or CDMA no data , If I put it in automatic I have 3G or H but never 4g.
Same issue. I know I can get 4G beause when I drive around, my phone has said 4G on it. With that being said, I only get 4G about .00001% of the time im using the network so it goes to 4G when i dont need it. i doubt its my phone its Sprints towers but that really sucks cuz 3G is sooooooo slow for me.
It's probably because your Spanish carrier does not use CDMA or Sprints LTE bands

In Spain for the moment is 1800 and 2600. End of this year also 800 but not yet.
Sprint is using 1900 800 and 2500. The sprint HTC only supports the 1900 lte

Either you're in the wrong forum or its because you own a CDMA phone
The Sprint HTC One is both CDMA & GSM

As far as I've ever head the GSM is limited to the edge network, which leads back to my previous point.
