[MOD] Autorotate Stock ICS Launcher v0.1 - Nexus S Themes and Apps

Here is a flashable zip that will install an ICS launcher that I modified from Koush's CM9 Alpha 11.
It will enable Autorotation of the stock ICS launcher enabling you to use it in landscape mode.
THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON KOUSH'S CM9 ALPHA 11 BUILD!
I will take no responsibility if anything gets messed up but will try my best to help. Be smart, make a NANDROID backup.
Version 0.1 Fixes issue where launcher would still rotate even with auto rotation turned off in system settings.

I want to test this on BM V6 but first I want to know how I will reverse it if it doesn't work?

reflash the BM zip. I'm gonna see if I can play around and create a zip to restore to whatever launcher it was before. I'm fairly new to this though so we'll see.
In anycase, BM's rom is based off CM9 A11 isn't it?

BM V6 3g version (Koush) doesn't auto rotate even though its AOSP. Which is why I wanted to try this. I'll try it out soon and get back to you OP.

Tested on BM v6: Works like a charm. Thanks alot man

Yeah... every AOSP ROM that I've tried doesn't have autorotation enabled for the launcher... What ROM are you talking about Zigg?

sdk Ports had autorotation. This works great on Brainmasters v.6, 3g
Sent from the bowels of hell

Proud to announce it works perfectly on BMv6 3g, except it's always active and doesn't comply with autorotation setting.

There is NO 4G on the Ice Cream Sandwich roms. Check back in January.

I just installed it and:
1. the settings have a lot of things in chinese so I dont know what some things are...
2. it kinda feel sluggish, CM7 feels smoother and faster overall
3. Torch widget wont work
I tested this before installing neutrino 2.7, used MIUI before on my last phone, but the atrix really doesnt have a smooth MIUI rom yet... will test agin on the next update, for now I will go back to CM7

***This project is no longer maintained following the release of AOKP M6***
Thanks for everyone who used it, maybe make a return in Jelly Bean
Modifies Search Key to Recent Apps instead of home long press.
Compiled by me using code kanged from evilisto http://bit.ly/JJ88Jl
I know there is another thread but Since evilisto took a break there have not been updates
Thus I will compile and keep flashables updated with AOKP builds and every so often with CM9 nightlies.

AOKP M6 REVERT
CM9
**CM9 has now integrated the mod in the latest nightlies and only a key edit is needed now**
With a root explorer, open /system/usr/keylayout/cypress-touchkey.kl and change SEARCH to APP_SWITCH the reboot.
You can also going into /system/usr/keylayout/cypress-touchkey.kl and edit APP_SWITCH to SEARCH to restore search button.
Disclaimer: These may or may not work with ROM's based on CM9 or AOKP. If you try, prepare the revert with android.policy.jar pulled from your ROM zip framework.
CM9 nightlies are subject to change, which may cause incompatibilities. I will try to update weekly, but please post if it doesn't work for a specific nightly and I will try to update ASAP. Also I only have a Vibrant so I cannot test for all devices.
Does not work with ICS Slim right now. Stock ICS work in progress.

[ROM][JB][4.1.2][N8000/13][Unofficial] Paranoid Android UPDATE V0.3!! Dec/14

I just finally got around to porting this thing over to Galaxy note 10.1
I really wanted the PA rom for my tablet but since there wasnt much available I decided to go and make one.
This is literally the first build so there are probably lots of bugs so please bear with me. (Also I am relatively new to building roms and this is my first public rom).
/*Standard disclaimer: I am not responsible for anything that happens to you device so please be careful. I will try to help you as much as I can but give no guarantees */
THIS ROM DOES NOT CHECK WHICH DEVICE ITS BEING FLASHED ON (REMOVED SOME LINES DUE TO NAMING SILLYNESS) ONLY FLASH ON GALAXY NOTE 10.1 N 8013
INSTRUCTIONS:
0. Make a backup
1. Flash the zip
2. Flash google apps
3. Profit?

Awesome. I would like to know if this would work for the n8000 WiFi version as well?
It will work on the US Wi-Fi version... Please do not flash this on a 3g version.

Yeah that's one of the bugs I found about 10 seconds into the ROM I will see if I can have it enabled by default in the next release.

Yeah I can try to fix that. I will have to lower the DPI limit. I overestimated the DPI of our tablet.

I just tried it, couldn't reproduce it. Can you get me a dump/log ? Logcat? If it happens again. Maybe try factory reset if it persists? (In the mean time I will try to reproduce it). =]
Does This ROM have face recog? Thanks
EDIT:yes it does

Hey,
Can anyone tell me if there's a way that I can flash only the kernel from this rom? I upgraded to the OC kernel and it works but I am experiencing bugs in the wi-fi connection and short intermittent freezes. Thanks all.
Thanks for the great ROM!

I can make a kernel only zip for you some time this week if you are willing to wait a while.

Yeah, compiling takes 2 hours on my 2.6 GHz 4 core AMD processor, with 8gb of ram
And you should do a complete rebuild after major. Changes
