The charger is Compatible with all phones HTC with appropriate (mini-usb or micro-usb), USB cable, so it does not harm the battery

Car charger damaged charge and data xfer functions

Hi guys: Somethings wanted to share with you guys. never never put your phone to the car charger before you start the car. It happened to my HTC HD2 T9193 now it can not be charged or data xfer. the orange led not light up also there is no ac icon instead of battery icon on the display. now I have to use swapping battery instead of charge it. if you see this post your are a lucky guy to know this experience . by the way, anybody knows how much will cost to repair and where?
To play devil's advocate. How do you know what exactly caused your damage to your HD2? Did it happen the first time you connected it up that way?
that's the same problem some people had with the HTC tytn 2 when using cheap chargers from ebay...
Apperantly theres something missing to stop the car from pulling power from your HD2 while it's connected to the charger.

...but: was it an original one, from HTC itself?
Yeah unless I have been lucky for so many years (knock on wood), it has to be a cheap or faulty charger because I hve llway had my phone changing when I am in the car. I have always used carrier sold charger's or a USB adapter and USB Cable. I do however remember reading about this a few devices ago.

[Q] Battery charger voltage-in

Hi,
I am soon getting a Nexus S and I want some details of the battery charger. I want to know if the charger is compatible with ~240V voltage input.
Thanks
Yes. 110v-240v
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Thanks for the reply! I got my answer.
Bump.
So this Blackberry wall charger should work fine charging the Nexus S? It says it discharges "100-240 volts—works with most international voltages"

I ask because I'd like to find a wall charger that plugs directly from the plug to the phone, without needing to connect the actual USB cable.

It doesn't matter which one that you buy... Sprint added a regulator to the HTC One that limits the amperage to like 600 MA (.6 A) so even if you get a 2A charger, the phone won't charge any faster. There was a thread on this, too late to go find it.
I noticed that I started with a full battery and drove for 8 hours straight that even on a car charger that I was actually using more battery than what the charger was putting out so by the end of the trip was at like 60%. But to be fair, was using GPS with the screen on...

Not an electrician, but from my understanding, the phone will only draw the power it needs. So, it should be safe although it won't charge the phone faster.
I use my N7 charger on my m7 all the time.
