[Q] Can't connect to Kies via Wifi: No Sim card detected. - Galaxy Tab 8.9 General

Hey,
Whenever I try to connect my Tab to Kies via wifi it connects all the way threw on my tab, but on Kies it sais that there is not Sim card inserted.
I have the WiFi version so of course there is no way to even insert a Sim card so that's out of the question.
What can I do to fix this? I have already reinstalled it but to no avail.
Regards,
Danny

Please, does anybody know a fix for this?

sim card missing

so i got this problem and hopefully someone can help.
i've been having this problem: my mobile worksxd--> then my connection is lost --> i try to reset my phone(comm manager and then the phone on/off button)--> but after that it says sim card is missing so i try to reset just by putting my phone off and putting it back on of by doing a soft reset but it keeps saying sim card missing.. I flashed my x1 with touch-it leo this afternoon and that helped(had touch-it 14 before) but now i got the same problem again does anyone know how to fix this or why this happens?
thanks in advance and hopefully i've given enough info just ask if you need more.
first I would try the sim in another phone
then I would try another sim in the phone
to see if it was a hardware defect in your sim card or in the sim slot in your phone

[Q] Samsung Galaxy s I-9000 Froyo Update problem

hello guys,
Firstly let me state that I am not a very technical person.
Here is the problem,
I have the above phone on Eclair 2.1, plugged it into Kies and Kies offered to update to the latest firmware which is obviously Froyo 2.2.
Everything went fine, the phone rebooted and it appeared that the software had installed correctly. However, I noticed that I could not get any signal, not just that but the phone is now stuck in flight mode.
When I go to Wireless & Network --> Mobile Networks it does not even let me into that option. It says "Insert Sim card - Insert Sim Card to access Network Services".
On top of that, when I click on About Phone --> Status there isn't even an IMEI number!
I have tried to rollback the upgrade, tested the sim card in another Galaxy S (it works fine) so I know this is a software problem.
Does anyone out there have any advice so I can get my phone working again?
regards
Chris
Remove sim card and sd card then factory reset then set up as a new phone would be my first step .

Hi there,
Firstly thank you for your help.
That step did not work, I just tried it. So what would you suggest now?
I was thinking of re-installing the firmware again...thing is Kies won't allow me to do this again as it already thinks the firmware is up to date.
This is a really bizarre problem...any further suggestions?
Thank you in advance
Two choices one take it to Samsung for repair as Kies broke it .
Second choice would be to invalidate your warranty and flash basic stock rom via Odin this would be at your own risk .

rebooting with new sim card

Hy
I have a little problem!
I got a new sim card in my motorola milestone. But the phone keeps rebooting all the time! sometimes i am able to write a text but if i wanna call its too much and a reboot starts!
i have tried another sim card in my phone and it works!
i have tried another phone with my card and it works!
i dont understand if its a sim card problem or phone problem.
i have 2.3.7 kernel 2.6.32.9 cyanogenMod 7.2.0
does anyone help me out?
Tell your carrier that your phone keeps rebooting with the SIM card they gave you and they unless they replace the SIM for free, you see no reason to continue service.
the problem is that my sim card works in other phones.
Now i got my milestone back to the stock and it seems to work.
I think it was the cyano 7 but now without it my phone sucks!

I've tried everything: Unable to connect to this network at this time.

Here's my story:
I just got a old Nexus One from my girlfriend yesterday who said it was broken and I could keep it if I repaired it but it was just stuck in bootloader with no stock ROM so I installed CM 10 and everything is fine BUT
>Insert Virgin Sim CARD
>Disable SIM lock just in case
>See signal but no network
>Go in wireless setting
>APN is there with right infos
>Search for networks
>Virgin discovered
>Great!
>Click on it
>Registering on VIRGIN...
>ERROR : Unable to connect to this network at this time. Please try again later
>Flash latest RADIO
>Looked for IMEI, it's there and matches the number under the battery
>Retry
>ERROR : Unable to connect to this network at this time. Please try again later
>Reformat
>Install CM 7.2
>ERROR : Unable to connect to this network at this time. Please try again later
>Reformat
>Reinstall CM 10
>ERROR : Unable to connect to this network at this time. Please try again later
>Try Bell sim card
>ERROR : Unable to connect to this network at this time. Please try again later :crying:
>Try another Virgin sim
>ERROR : Unable to connect to this network at this time. Please try again later :crying:
What is wrong, what did I miss? Any suggestions?
Edit:
Just tried removing the battery for 30 min trick, didn't work.
More information: Is it possible that trying to use a sim card that is already registered with another IMEI cause this problem since I try to use my GS2's SIM which is also a Virgin mobile sim to do my tests.
