[ROM][4.0.4][Crespo] Apex v1.1.3: Features Keep Pilin' On! (5/13/12)

There's a severe issue with the dialer in 1.1.3, thread has been reverted to 1.1.2 for the time being
This is a crespo build of my maguro ROM found here:

This is a generally stock ROM with mods chosen to add to functionality without detracting from the Ice Cream Sandwich experience that Google envisioned. I built this ROM from AOSP, merged in mods from CM9, AOKP, Gummy, RootzBoat, and other ROMS, to create what I feel is a perfect mixture of stock feel and helpful customizations.
I had a lot of fun building, testing, and running this ROM. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Instructions
Wipe data and cache! Just wipe cache and dalvik if coming from Apex 1.1.x
Flash ROM file
Flash GAPPs file immediately afterwards, prior to rebooting (also if you are updating!).

2G/3G toggle does not work
Battery types sometimes don't change (just toggle back and forth until it does)
MIUI battery bar requires a screen toggle (on/off) to update after an orientation change
Yes, lockscreen and navbar settings SHOULD be under UI Customization, but I am lazy and cut some corners. Shh!
Things to be aware of
If Facebook picture sync is not working after contacts have synced, please clear the application cache and data, sign in again, and it will sync.
Please allow the phone some time to sync initially (calendar, picasa, bookmarks, etc.)
If market auto restore gets stuck, a reboot should fix it

It's stock with a few nice options added and together with Eugene latest kernel this ROM is running great!

First I would like to thank bigxie for this ROM, it's very fast and smooth with GLaDOS 2.6. I have however a problem with the BLN Control Pro app. It reports that "this liblights is not supported" (translated from Swedish). The BLN function does work but it looks like the control app doesn't work with something in the ROM.

Excellent rom - Definitely suitable for daily usage, one of the fastest i've used. Only thing im missing is BLN. I want to keep on the stock kernel for now due to it being so stable :] Thanks again for this ROM, excellent work

Think I might try this ROM later on this week, missing not having a deodexed ROM so that I can have a battery percentage displayed in my status bar.

Why won't you implement Toggles?
On the second thoughts, QuickSettings works better than Toggles.
Is this based on stock kernel?
Yes.
Why isn't this dark?
Because some users don't actually like dark. Besides, mako isn't AMOLED, so it won't look good.
I would ask you to update your recovery. Some issues might occur on 4.1 Recoveries..

Of the lingering 4.2.2 bugs we know of due to kernel support, which ones still remain here? Great to hear that the camcorder is working but I use BT in my car so the BT issues have been holding me to blur based ROM's.

Majority of everything works.. playback caused a reboot..even though I know the video recorded.. gonna try a diff video player. Also is it possible to include in the next version the ability to turn off Lock Screen Rotation? I know you can do it with Xenon and some other 4.2.2 roms. Thanks in advance for all your fantastic work Nitro! You da man!
edit: also the phone will fall asleep and pressing the lock button won't wake it...I've seen this in CM10.1 for the XT912... need to press volume down + power to reboot it...

Tried this today and BT problems sent me back to his 4.1.2 Eclipse. I get pairings(eventually,) but no audio.

What has kept me from going to a 4.2.2 rom (aosp or aokp) and has kept me on rage hd is battery life and stability problem After installing 90+ apps with titanium backup (app only restores of course and no data) So how is the battery life for this rom and stability?

I'm pretty sure anything compiled with the latest kernel commits will be having force closes, battery drain, and sleep of death. It's not Nitro, the ROM, or anyone else's fault right now. Just flash and be happy, things are moving along.

I am forever grateful of the progress that is being made. I am just providing feedback and I am sure others want to know about the performance of the ROM. Isn't this the reason why we have forums?

Interesting development...initially in was able to take video but couldn't watch them through the gallery..now after a reboot and fix permissions I can.. let's see if the fix permissions also fixed the SOD problem too..if so then this ROM will be my daily driver for quite a while

Found a way to avoid SOD by upping the minimum clock speed; that will howver increase battery drain soo we'll see... however video playback with either the Gallery or MXvideo causes a reboot of the OS... hopefully the new version with the kernel update fixes this problem...

PA 4.4 BETA1
On this week’s dose of awesome sauce from PA Headquarters. We are proud to bring you Theme Engine, a stable Hover and a bunch of fixes. Hats off to CM, Clark Scheff, Andrew Mast and Sony mobile, for their work on Theme engine Truly outstanding work. Porting it to an AOSP base was a massive effort, lead by +Carlo Savignano. We tried to do it in a way so that it can be easily ported to other AOSP based ROMs for the benefit of the entire community. We are also proud to mark Hover stable, after many betas and three rewrites. We apologize for all the betas, but we really wanted to try to get this right, we encourage you to compare this build to beta 1, some major improvements have been made. The lessons learned here means more/quicker awesomeness in the future. With Google IO only a month away we are nearing the end of Kitkat, but that doesn't mean development is slowing down. Our team is comprised of numerous students and with school ending we are now doubling down on making PA awesome, we plan to finish strong and have a few Major projects to release that we have been working on internally for quite some time. Awesomeness is coming *
P.S. This is still 4.4.2. We have merged and are testing 4.4.3 internally but it was released too close to our release to allow enough time for adequate testing.*
P.S 2 Like the Themes shown off in the image below they were made by our own +Matt Flaming* and *+Lo Huot* and are available on the play store (PiazzA will be available soon). Show them some love.

- Vastly improved triggering, and allow you to trigger from any area on the edge on tablets.
- Pie now rotates like the navBar (will appear on short edge).

- Fixed AOSP immersive bug issue where apps would register a touch when swiping statusBar*and/or navBar.
- Fixed numerous freezes.

Just go to about phone and type on build number 7 times and it shows up.

The Lego Rom was initially based on CyanogenMod, but now it's based on SlimRoms. The team members are me, cameron581, timpohladthomas, deadman96385 and Kiltnar. Our source can be found here. nice rom ! simply perfect !

I tried the Lego rom test build(few days back) on 1033xt device running 1032stock ROM.
Unable to receive calls. The screen stays as it is without incoming call screen(the calling person can here the phone ring)..
Hope the ROM dev will make it to work on 1033

is xt1033 dual sim? we will probably never get support for it. only cm and probably cm based have that

can you read? i made a note just right next to the zip name! it was unofficial cause up till now i only made test builds. next one'll have official tag

Now look what you've started! Working well, as expected. Thread already going as expected too!

Just a gripe, here goes: You listed that it should work just fine on the xt1031, but say right after that you're unsure of it works on the Boost mobile version... Correct me if I'm wrong, but it the xt1031 only the boost version?

i meant xt1031 as the us version, xt1032 as the latin american / rest of the world version, i think xt1034 is the us, and i listed it wrong

I will start downloading and flashing when its done.
Pd: may i recomend that you put the "QR-Code" thing in the download link?
