Well this is a huge step in the right direction for Aosp! Awesome, Nitro!

Of the lingering 4.2.2 bugs we know of due to kernel support, which ones still remain here? Great to hear that the camcorder is working but I use BT in my car so the BT issues have been holding me to blur based ROM's.

Majority of everything works.. playback caused a reboot..even though I know the video recorded.. gonna try a diff video player. Also is it possible to include in the next version the ability to turn off Lock Screen Rotation? I know you can do it with Xenon and some other 4.2.2 roms. Thanks in advance for all your fantastic work Nitro! You da man!
edit: also the phone will fall asleep and pressing the lock button won't wake it...I've seen this in CM10.1 for the XT912... need to press volume down + power to reboot it...

Tried this today and BT problems sent me back to his 4.1.2 Eclipse. I get pairings(eventually,) but no audio.
Doug B.

What has kept me from going to a 4.2.2 rom (aosp or aokp) and has kept me on rage hd is battery life and stability problem After installing 90+ apps with titanium backup (app only restores of course and no data) So how is the battery life for this rom and stability?
Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Flash this ROM in the morning and no SOD yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. Haven't tried BT yet.
Sent from my XT926 using Tapatalk 2
update: SOD occurred later in the evening after running the rom all day.

I've heard good things about this rom from my buddy who has a note 2. Looms forward to trying this. Thanks for sharing!!

How's battery life on this?
Sent from my XT926 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

I'm pretty sure anything compiled with the latest kernel commits will be having force closes, battery drain, and sleep of death. It's not Nitro, the ROM, or anyone else's fault right now. Just flash and be happy, things are moving along.

I am forever grateful of the progress that is being made. I am just providing feedback and I am sure others want to know about the performance of the ROM. Isn't this the reason why we have forums?

Interesting development...initially in was able to take video but couldn't watch them through the gallery..now after a reboot and fix permissions I can.. let's see if the fix permissions also fixed the SOD problem too..if so then this ROM will be my daily driver for quite a while

Whats SOD?

Sleep of Death..
Screen goes black won't turn on with power button. Have to simulate a battery pull.

Found a way to avoid SOD by upping the minimum clock speed; that will howver increase battery drain soo we'll see... however video playback with either the Gallery or MXvideo causes a reboot of the OS... hopefully the new version with the kernel update fixes this problem...

[ROM][4.0.4][Crespo] Apex v1.1.3: Features Keep Pilin' On! (5/13/12)

There's a severe issue with the dialer in 1.1.3, thread has been reverted to 1.1.2 for the time being
This is a crespo build of my maguro ROM found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399238
Happy Mother's Day!
This is a generally stock ROM with mods chosen to add to functionality without detracting from the Ice Cream Sandwich experience that Google envisioned. I built this ROM from AOSP, merged in mods from CM9, AOKP, Gummy, RootzBoat, and other ROMS, to create what I feel is a perfect mixture of stock feel and helpful customizations.
I had a lot of fun building, testing, and running this ROM. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!
Features
Built from AOSP source code - 4.0.4 IMM76I base
Stock look and feel with useful mods
Device specific control app (Galaxy Nexus Parts, Crespo Parts, etc) for low level adjustments
Customizeable Lockscreen (2-5 targets, custom targets, custom icons)
Customizeable Notification Pulldown Widgets
Customizeable NavBar w/ tutorial
Customizeable batteries (%, circle, bar, miui bar)
Customizeable Trebuchet Launcher with adjustable homescreen grid size
Advanced sound settings: quite hours, expanded volume control, unlink ringtone & notifications
T9 Predictive (smart) dialer w/ advanced settings
Built in CPU Perfomance Settings w/ voltage control
Facebook sync enabled
Quick unlock (toggleable, for PIN and Password lockscreens)
3.0.31 CyanogenMod Kernel
Advanced Power Menu w/ reboot and screenshot options
Rooted and busybox preinstalled
All apks deodexed/zipaligned/optimized
Credits
Google: for creating ICS and the AOSP
birdman: for CMDA build, proprietary files help, helping me fix camera effects
kejar31: APM, auto restore fix, and more
CyanogenMod: Kernel, Trebuchet launcher, back button app killer, T9, lockscreen, navbar, and more
paulobrien/romanbb: facebook sync fix
romanbb: volume controls, volume wake, and more
rascarlo: custom boot animation and wallpapers
jrummy16: Performance settings
xoomdev: clock controls and more
syaoran12: customizeable batteries, miui bar, and more
And anyone I may have missed, thank you!

Instructions
Wipe data and cache! Just wipe cache and dalvik if coming from Apex 1.1.x
Flash ROM file
Flash GAPPs file immediately afterwards, prior to rebooting (also if you are updating!).
Reboot
Profit
Quirks
2G/3G toggle does not work
Battery types sometimes don't change (just toggle back and forth until it does)
MIUI battery bar requires a screen toggle (on/off) to update after an orientation change
Yes, lockscreen and navbar settings SHOULD be under UI Customization, but I am lazy and cut some corners. Shh!
Things to be aware of
If Facebook picture sync is not working after contacts have synced, please clear the application cache and data, sign in again, and it will sync.
Please allow the phone some time to sync initially (calendar, picasa, bookmarks, etc.)
If market auto restore gets stuck, a reboot should fix it

BTW, also posted the T9 dialer mod in the OP. It looks and functions like this:
It's stock with a few nice options added and together with Eugene latest kernel this ROM is running great!
Thx for your awesome work!
First I would like to thank bigxie for this ROM, it's very fast and smooth with GLaDOS 2.6. I have however a problem with the BLN Control Pro app. It reports that "this liblights is not supported" (translated from Swedish). The BLN function does work but it looks like the control app doesn't work with something in the ROM.
mirror link for rom says temp not available
edit:mirror link working now
Excellent rom - Definitely suitable for daily usage, one of the fastest i've used. Only thing im missing is BLN. I want to keep on the stock kernel for now due to it being so stable :] Thanks again for this ROM, excellent work

Think I might try this ROM later on this week, missing not having a deodexed ROM so that I can have a battery percentage displayed in my status bar.

Thanks for the good work!
This is looking extremely good !!
Awesome, now I don't have to worry about maintaining my port!
The backlight error is pretty simple (assuming this hasn't been found yet), the array in config.xml has been misnamed. Should be config_autoBrightnessButtonBacklightValues.
Let me know if you'd like my code for softkey rotation. I'll try and submit it to CM when I get a chance but it might not be for a while.

[MAY7][ROM] SlimGen|v2.0 PRE-BETA|4.0.4 IceCreamSandwhich ICS

SlimGen V2.0 PRE-BETA
Get the SlimGen Wallpaper HERE!!!
SlimGen site has been made! Visit regularly for exclusive features! http://www.sethworkz.tk/
 What is SlimGen 2.0?
-SlimGen is an Ice Cream Sandwhich based ROM which is focused on being the fastest and slimmest ROM for the LG Optimus One
Why did you create SlimGen ROM?There are many other ROMs for the P500.
-The main reason I created this ROM is because for now(5/03/2012) there is no customized ICS rom for the LG Optimus One.
What do you expect from the community?
-Nothing at all. I made this ROM for myself, but because of the great feedback I got,I thought to release it to the public. The only thing you can do for me,is to donate any amount if you like my work. That's all.
How to install the ROM?
-Flash it like any other ROM. There are plenty tutorials on XDA about this

KNOWN BUGS: READ THESE TO AVOID GETTING IN TROUBLE!!! Updated: 5/07/2012
-Power menu is bugged if you enable POWER SAVER mode. DO NOT ENABLE POWER SAVER MODE or it will instantly reboot your phone when pressing the power button. To fix this, just wipe data and dalvik and reboot. It will fix it and don't mess with the power menu, you can add the screenshot option and airplane mode but nothing else.
-As mentioned above, POWER SAVER mode is bugged, DON'T USE IT!
-When changing from stock ICS Lockscreen to something else, it works, but when changing back to stock lockscreen, it just doesn't show any unlock option.
To fix this if you manage to encounter it, reboot to recovery and wipe data + dalvik and reboot. Lockscreen will be reverted to the original one. Need help in fixing this.
-USB Mass Storage working but sometimes, an annoying bug occurs: Sometimes, even if you press to turn on USB MassSt, it won't turn on, unless you enable or disable USB debugging. Very annoying, but it can be fixed with a reboot. Need help in fixing this.
-Changing LCD density from stock to any other value, will cause the phone app to crash and force close, use it with caution!!!
-Cannot set navigation bar icons to transparent. (Not really necesarry but, it looks cool)
-Navigation bar sometimes overlaps lockscreen text(not big problem...)
-Camcorder and panorama not working
jaibar said:
Music listening: works fine both with speaker, wired headphones and Bluetooth headsets.
Phone conversation:
- internal speaker and external speaker: volume is almost the same, so there is almost no difference between them, thus external speaker for conversations is useless.
- Bluetooth: whereas one can listen to music via bluetooth, for regular phone calls the volume is zero. This applies for BT headphones and also car speaker systems.
- 3.5mm jack headphones: conversation works well.
However, there is a huge volume difference between phone call and music, so if listening to music with reasonable volume --> incoming call will have too low volume, if one puts the volume to max in conversation, after phone call ends the music volume will blow the ears
Some other minor issues:
- Battery usage does not show any applications- only the graph
- Disable boot animation doesn't work (yeah, I know, I'm a jerk )
- Choosing a different wallpaper for lockscreen, shows the homescreen wallpaper along the status bar area. It looks weird/ugly, and I guess it is affected by statusbar transparency settings..
-It isn't possible to add transparency settings for the whole notification pull-down, looks like the present settings work only on the status bar itself...

TO DO:
APP2SD - Can move any app to sd card
Custom framework-res.apk
data/app enabled so you can update/uninstall some system apps

Looks awesome!
Two quick [Q]:
- Does it have low volume problem during phone call using speaker and/or BT?
- If coming from similar ICS build (hephappy's), Full wipe required or cache/dalvik will do?
It doesn't have any volume problem at all
And yes it is needed full wipe. It is coming from similar build, however it has some kernel and system tweaks which need the full wipe.
New version gonna be uploaded on Tuesday!
Hilarious, if I choose to disable boot animation it tells me I'm a jerk... but does not comply with my command
What's the swagger button on notification bar?
Speaker volume is quite low during phone calls, and it doesn't seems like I can change volume during call?

We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ

A place holder for now.. I have mentioned.. If you need that.. Go to build.prop and make ro.config.low_ram=true from false..
