[ROM]Stock Firmware N7000XXLA1/LA3/LA4 [one file-odex-save root] - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Android Development

Stock Firmware N7000XXLA1/LA3 (2.3.6) Open Europe
Repacked the three firmware file into one (odexed, file extension .tar)
Stock Firmware (no wipe) N7000XXLA4 (2.3.6 one file, odexed) Open Germany
Warning! Firmware deletes all data and settings!
ROM established with FULL WIPE
You need to have the root right
Installation by means of MobileODINPro https://market.android.com/details?id=eu.chainfire.mobileodin.pro&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImV1LmNoYWluZmlyZS5tb2JpbGVvZGluLnBybyJd
(If you do not have root rights and you want to leave the counter "0" and no yellow triangle,
flash the first stock firmware is not above KKA and get root in this way selecting the method 2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360
and then it flashed this ROM.)
Installation :
0. Save all the necessary applications to the previous your firmware, using Titanium Backup.apk
1. Download and put repacked Firmware N7000XX***_N7000OXA***_N7000XX***.tar
and root kernel CF-Root-***-v5.0.tar оn the internal flash drive.
2. Install MobileODINPro_v1.25 (Update plug-ins) then open it.
3. Press "Open file" choose at the top N7000XX***_N7000OXA***_N7000XX***.tar
4. Press "KERNEL" specify the path to root kernel CF-Root-***v5.0.tar
5. Deselect "Enabl EverRoot"
6. Press "flash firmware" (further "ok...")
Wait about 5 minutes...
Castom binary "no"! No Yellow triangle! Have root right!
And so the same program will install : SU v3.5, CWM recovery 5.0.2.7, CWM manager v3.
My feeling with the kernel CF-Root-***-v5.0 running smoothly.
I installed repacked N7000XX***_N7000OXA***_N7000XX***.tar on top of CheckROM™ Revo NoteHD. Everything went without a glitch

Sorry for my english...

I already have CF Root + CWM for KL3 . Meanwhile I have also installed Mobile Odin Pro on my Note. What is the best way of updating to LA1 ? And will I lose the CF Root after flashing LA1 ?
Could you also guide how to Flash LA1 with CWM manager app from Chainfire , as suggested by you earlier . Abd after doing that , will I retain Cf root + Cwm app ?

Changelog 1.2
Auto-full root finally fixed.....
Added ICS Stock kernel LP1 N7000
Changelog 1.1:
Auto-root at each reboot
Tested with rom unrooted
Changelog 1.0:
Added Touch Recovery CW ver. 5.8.1.5
Added Auto full-root and Auto-installation CWManager
Added auto-backup folder EFS (in /data/.Abyss)
Added Battery auto-calibration (you must delete the file /data/.Abyss/calibrata)
init.d scripts support
Added ability to change the bootanimation and the startup sound (in internal usb memory you must create a folder called boot and insert ourselves bootanimation.zip and/or powerOn.wav, then reboot)
Please note:
When you install the fist time the kernel it will run the full installation of the root and CW Manager.
Then, if we want flash again the kernel (after having already installed it the first time), we will have to delete the file /data/test.
Otherwise, auto-root and the installation of CWMManager will not occur
Bug: Usb Storage mount not working in recovery
I am not responsible for damage caused by the kernel
to the device and/or media.
If you encounter problems using this kernel, in what a way, I am not responsible.
You flashed the kernel, it is your responsibility.

I had flashed the kernel on imilka's AOSP ICS, and lost root (cannot mount system/ as r/w in Root Explorer, data/ gives message: 'you don't have root access').
I reflashed the kernel with the same result - still no root.
Am I doing something wrong here?
Yes..........
Edit:
imilka's AOSP ICS is aosp rom, not stock
This kernel is for stock rom (chinese leak and derivatives)

Unlikely,
You already have root with imilka AOSP. Why would you even flash this?
hopefully this has better battery drain life. I'm on rocket 1.5, so I just use cwm recovery to flash this?

The first step for you is to get root, and the easiest way to do that is to flash one of the pre-rooted stock Roms from here. Use PC Odin.

ICS Stunner Flashing Guide

so,having already LC1 i have to flash via PC odin the pre-rooted file "3*Files Wipe N7000XXLC1_N7000OXALC1 Open Europe (02/03/2012)"
and then follow the guide "ICS Stunner Flashing Guide"?is this all?

Yes, that's right. You'll only have to double check if you get CWM Recovery with the pre-rooted Rom. If not, you'll need to flash CF--Root LC1 kernel to get the recovery.
After that, you're set to follow the Stunner flashing instructions.

I think the latest Stunner could be flashed over a rooted GB kernel(Abyss to be specific), no?
Edit: Confirmed
NEW STEPS BETA 4.3 ONWARDS:
Backup data apps.
Download and copy latest Stunner ROM on your SD Card.
Make sure you are on Rooted ROM. Reboot in recovery.
ONLY IF YOU ARE ON GINGERBREAD: Flash Abyss Kernel. Goto Advanced and Reboot Recovery. Tested and confirmed working on CF-Root Kernel.
Wipe Data (Recommended but not mandatory if you on Stunner ROM already)
Flash ROM.
Flash suitable Modem (Optional, recommended ICS LP5 modem)(not included in ROM)
Reboot and Read Caution.
Do not restore system apps or system data.

Zip files are CWM flashable.
Bin files are Mobile Odin/PC Odin flashable. Never rename bin files, or Mobile Odin will not recognize them!
Warning: Even if you want to flash bin file with Mobile Odin i advise to download CWM zip file and extract bin file from there, as it will give you extra CRC protection in case your download was corrupt.
ICS modems can be used with GingerBread ROM's and vice versa.
At least i never have problems with it before.
If you have new modem - post it in this thread and i will add it to the OP.

Best Radio for ICS ?
Which is the best radio to use with ICS Official German..
I had Europe version of GB from new before flashing the ICS release
But it would seem the Signals on both Phone and Wifi aren't as strong as they were when I was running GB.
My original baseband was XXLA4
would this bring back my better signal if I flashed this one with ODIN ?
(assuming that I read correct that you can mix GB and ICS radios ?)
Cheers Chaps.....

Stock Rom v4.0.4 with CF-Root LRG Kernel and Binary Reset Tutorial(FULL METHOD)

Hey Guyz... This Thread is just a help from me to those xda members who dont want to mess the upgrade to latest ICS update i.e. Android v4.0.4 with all tools required to help you in update firmware, all in ONE PLACE... this thread is although is associated with recognized XDA Contributors ( Many Thanks to them)...
I Just Find a Stock LRG Rom (Android v4.0.4) (Thanks to Dr. Ketan) With CF-Root LRG Kernel ( Pre-Rooted Kernel include CWM And Super-User), easy rooting method ( Thanks to Chainfire )
It totally based on stock kernel... So far works pretty smoothly without any earlier issues in CF-ROOT Kernels...THANKS to Chainfire
It is just a Stock 4.0.4 Version Samsung Touchwiz Interface Rom For Russian Countries (Thanks to Dr. Ketan and Samfirmware) which will rooted through CF-ROOT LRG Kernel.(click on title to downloaded)
which runs without any issues as earlier with easy method below by Dr. Ketan ( Click Stock 4.0.4 Version Samsung Touchwiz to download the rom)
If you want to download other Stock Roms then click the title...
or try Dr. Ketan's Method Of Rooting LRG Rom.
(Req to all plz read full thread before installing the ROM.)
1.a Pre installation : (For clean installation, optional)
- Make backup with TB or other same app.
- First flash GB ROM if you are on any other ICS/Custom ROM
- wipe cache, data from recovery
GB Rom Is Recommended As Wipe in ICS can Trigger the Brick Issues..
Dont forget to wipe cache, data from recovery before each installation for preventing your cellphone from BRICK Issues...
1.b Final Installation
- Download ICS ROM, and extract it to .tar file
- Download Odin, open it (click on title or link below)

The phone will reboot after the flash. Rooting Done.
Cheers...!!!
See Below Video Link for Chanlog (nothing new but bit faster):

After Flash Kernel through Odin you will raise your BINARY COUNTS and you will notice a YELLOW TRIANGLE along with boot animation. This will affect your WARRANTY as Samsung wont accept any binary counts. SEE IMAGE BELOW...
to reset use TRIANGLE AWAY.APK which reset your counts to zero. THis Will Install Normally...(Click on title to download)
Follow the method below:
1. click the Reset Flash Counter from the bottom of the app
2. click Continue
3. then you will redirected to recovery mode
4. Press Up Volume Button to reset
5. It will automatically Reset Your BINARY COUNT to Zero
6. Done........Cheers...!!!:good:
Note: Must Wipe Data and Cache before ever flashing for safe installation and be prevented from any brick issues
This is a 1st thread of mine, so if (by badly coincidence) any technical error occur happens "I" or any XDA Contributors Introduced in this thread is not responsible....But I am assuring you all if u follow the full method, you will not come across any issues....

[Q] how to flash pre rooted GB ROM

hello.. i'm quite new with rooting and flashing.. and i'm having a problem. i tried to follow the instructions to the letter but somehow i got confused and now im stuck.
i was from and lrt stock rom with philz 2.7 safe kernel.
i wanted to change my ROM to ics paranoid android and the instruction on the thread was to flash a gb rom and root it.
i was able to flash the gb room but was not able to root it as i had downloaded a non directly rootable kl3 rb rom.
now i downloaded chainfire's pre rooted kj1 gb rom. i received the zip file, extracted it and got a .tar file. (not .tar.md5 like the previous non directly rootable kl3 i downloaded)
now here's the problem:
they said that it can be flashed with pc odin. i get an error using pc odin.
how will i solve this?

hello.. i'm quite new with rooting and flashing.. and i'm having a problem. i tried to follow the instructions to the letter but somehow i got confused and now im stuck.
i was from and lrt stock rom with philz 2.7 safe kernel.
i wanted to change my ROM to ics paranoid android and the instruction on the thread was to flash a gb rom and root it.
i was able to flash the gb room but was not able to root it as i had downloaded a non directly rootable kl3 rb rom.
now i downloaded chainfire's pre rooted kj1 gb rom. i received the zip file, extracted it and got a .tar file. (not .tar.md5 like the previous non directly rootable kl3 i downloaded)
now here's the problem:
they said that it can be flashed with pc odin. i get an error using pc odin.
how will i solve this?

You're initial mistake was going back to a GB rom, because philz safe kernel means just that, a safe kernel that you can directly flash PA/CM ICS/JB.
Can you atleast reboot back into your phone? even with the KL3 GB rom? If so, just follow this:
Download any new and recent ICS stock roms from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997. I suggest the recent October ZSLPN, and follow the same installation/flash using PC odin. It should reboot, then after the phone reboots wait a few min and let it settle, then reboot into recovery and install and flash Philz ZSLPN 2.7 zip file, NOT tar, wipe cache/dalvik, and reboot. Back to working stock ICS, with root and safe kernel, then reboot back into recovery and flash whatever Paranoid Android or CM rom or any other AOSP rom you want, ICS or Jellybean.
If you still have the XXLRT rom file that you used and the matching Philz file, just flash them again. Boot into recovery and flash any custom rom you want.
go back to ics and philz and flash PA from there
so its not posible to flash jb rom over a stock pre rooted gb rom??
it is. All you need is cwm
