The only Blur ICS is the razr leak, that someday be be ported, but hasn't yet been.

I hope so cause i really want to find out

Take a look at this then. Currently, it's been pulled, and there doesn't seem to be any new activity here, but it was there for a little while...
http://www.droidhive.com/forums/index.php?/topic/485-rommotoblur-android-404-beta-2-24742-033012/

The link in the last post is the rom I was referring to. Most of the ICS rooms can be found on the droidhive forums.
You asked a yes or no question so I gave you a yes or no answer.
I recommend waiting for an official ics if you really want blur so badly.
Or just get an ics theme for your blur rom as you wait it out.

Why not just link to it in the first place or tell him where to find it and save the forum some posts. Just because it was a yes or no question, don't mean your actually helping by only saying yes.

In the top right there is a search button.
If people actually use it this thread would never have started.

Some people use the xda app, which doesn't have a search button on top. I have barely used a computer to access xda in almost 6 months. On another note, finding things for the bionic is much harder than it is on many other devices. This is my first android which I had to use 4-5 different websites to find all the files I needed. With my previous phones, xda was the first place to look for something, but with the bionic, it seems like xda is the last place you want to check. With some files, it was easier to google bionic root than it was to find it on here.
I've always felt that the rooting community are the embasssadors for Android and unless we are actively developing, we should be more than willing to help others who are having problems. The more we can help them, the less they will have to bother the developers for help. While some questions are based on people being lazy, many of them are based on the user not knowing better. The bionic seems to have a lot of newer android owners which helps explain the repetition of questions. I suggest when offering help, also let the user know of the rules we go by when searching before asking.
The sooner someone can get their phone running nice, the sooner they can go show it off to their friends and help promote the growth of android. I know I used to impress my iPhone friends back when I was new with wifi tether. They couldn't get a signal and needed to use mine. A couple of those people are now on Android.

I agree with everything you said, OTHER then the search functionality. I as well only use the XDA app. But from the home screen if the app, if you click the upper right hand tabs that says "more" it has the search function there. Which would save reposts over and over in all phone forums. It is irritating to read through forums, looking for new things, and reading the same questions over and over.

Bootstrap is up and running thanks to CVPCS.
Our phones are almsot identical, so I don't know if someone wanted to take the plunge since you have recovery now too.
Just wanted to give the Droid 3 owners a heads up.

I cannot stress enough that THIS IS FOR BIONIC ONLY. You should not attempt this for use with other devices such as the Droid 3 except at your own risk. The D3 specifically has differences that will cause your internal storage to wipe if you attempt to use this bootstrap on it.

I'm brave, but not that brave.
Yeah, its a use at your own risk kind of thing, obviously.
Maybe someone can get CVPCS to take a look at the D3, the work is mostly done with the bionic.
DO NOT USE THE BIONIC BOOTSTRAP. He posted on his blog this same warning.
I REPEAT: DO NOT USE BIONIC BOOTSTRAP.
It fries your internal memory apparently. Wait for the D3 version, should be out today or tomorrow.

I think I'll just wait for Hashcode's Recovery/Bootstrap. Should be out in the next day or so.

Not sure what's wrong with a dev-related topic being posted in the dev section, but in my opinion, the real bummer is that CVPCS is developing for the Bionic instead of the D3 (like I hoped). The Bionic has been out for about a week and a half, and already has a pending CM7 mod waiting in the wings. Hopefully we can get some work going on the D3…

BTW guys, there is work being done with the D3 don't worry. We already have a semi working CWM based recovery in the beta stage atm. there are a few dedicated devs working on the D3.
Also keep in mind its only going faster for the bionic devs because our devs have been working so hard on things like 2init and root, granted it does seem we were skipped over by the majority of devs.

On other areas of the site the Developer forum is not for questions but for development. Questions are ether directed to the developer thread of interest or posted in the General category.
I am kind of surprised that no sticky post has been made here stating similar rules.

[Q] development stalled?

It looked like devs were jumping on the Bionic at first, but now it seems there is nobody working on new rom development.
I have tried unleashed and it is nice, but was really looking forward to CM7.
Goto IRC, and the channels for Bionic are DEAD.
Anyone have any news of any new rom dev going on at all for the Bionic?

And Team Liberty has been working hard on our ROM... Although its still a week or two out... I do release test build on IRC though
Its not always dead in there. But I have to agree its not hopping like the Charge channel.
I think the locked bootloader and lte radios have a big part in things being slow. I'm willing to bet it will pick up soon enough

Thanks kejar, I was downloading your latest 39 build and you must have cancelled the page when my download was about finished, because it said complete on my end. I formatted everything on my Bionic and tried to install the 39 zip for it to only tell me it was a bad zip.
No biggie, I made a nandroid
I'd say the biggest problem is this: devs don't get paid for this and the bionic is $600 off contract. Alot of them have families and jobs/careers outside this - actually I would say most do.
My best advice? If you like a dev and want to see him give the bionic love, reach out to him. Start a donate thread.
For the time being, Unl3ash3d is doing me good. Looking forward to Liberty and CM7.

I agree, I have donated to most of the devs. I had thought everyone donated to one of the cm7 devs.
I don't ask for anything for free, that's not my point.......
My point is, dev has stalled on Bionic.

[CM7] on Droid Bionic with dual boot!

This is an amazing hack by Hashcode! He built a hack to load CM7 on the Droid 3 that will also work on the Droid Bionic! I tested it on the Droid Bionic today and it worked! (ya I am crazy)
Now you need to note that this is in the begining stages, but with us Devs teaming up, this can be great!
Thanks to Hashcode and of course Cyanogenmod team!

What is performance like (for both this current working version and the D3)?
What's currently broken in this one?
Just curious, I know this isn't a stable release. More wondering into the generals about it.
This is the excitement I've needed lately. I've been reading the hype on the galaxy nexus and razr which have been eclipsing our new bionics. I know that's just how it seems to me, in reality its the bootloader that its slowing the development and further excitement. Cyanogen was stellar on my OG Droid. Koush rules!

I'm greatly appreciative of your comments mistawolfe. I was a victim of TDB with the X2 promises. After two months of waiting and very little progress on the X2 anywhere else, I gave up and threw in the towel. That was my lesson -- money wasted. I now own a Bionic and I can't be happier. And now, when I donate, it's to sites like MDW, Rootzwiki, DL and here. At least that way, I have a reasonable expectation that my money is going to good uses. I live for forums like these and I will do all that I can to help them thrive. I was just very touched and happy to hear that someone else identified with my pain. Thanks again.

I was already gone from my x2 when I stumbled across the Rootz thread. It's funny, Butch starts out all nice and open to the other members, then as soon as he gets the phone he changes tone. I'm in sales, so we call that the old "bait and switch" - By the end of it he was just downright nasty - probably crushed many people. I sat and read the whole thread one day and was just disgusted.
I'm not saying he should have given them a blow by blow on a daily basis, but if you read the thread from start to finish you'll see what I'm talking about. Absolutely no respect for that guy - ZILCH.

A lot of the people who need help on here is because they haven't taken the time to read through the information and follow instructions. If they can't take time to read and follow instructions, can't really expect them to click a thanks button.

Ive had a Bioic for over a year and have had dozens of ROMs on it, but I cant quite seem to find the perfect ROM. Im looking for something that would be like Clean ROM, but for the Bionic. Does anyone know of any ROMs that are complete, clean, and fast? Battery life is also a plus!
Thanks for the input!
Thanks for posting in the wrong section. You are looking for Eclipse ROM, which can be found [HERE]
You're better off finding another website to ask on. Xda has been a joke for the Bionic since the phone came out. For a while rootzwiki was the place to go, but now droidrzr forums will have what you need. I only come back here because I got used to it with my previous Android devices. Be prepared, some online forum people act like trolls and take offense to regular people posting in the wrong place. I like to think of it as revenge of the nerds.

This is difficult answer because i as well use multiple roms. It really depends on the users taste. I switch everyday to a different rom;
IcarusHD
Wizzed Bean
SkyL1n3
Eclipse ICS
