HOW TO RUNNING THIS THINGS :
1. Turn On wifi in WinMo (it's a must or you will never got online)
2. run haret from SDCARD\ubuntu\haret.exe
3. done
HOW TO GET WIFI WORKING :
1. click ubuntu logo on the upper left
2. select network -> Wicd Network Manager
3. click refresh to get your active Access Point

This is great.
Please make first thing on todo list to be touchscreen calibration
And i don't care for making calls/sending sms on ubuntu.

Error ind download..
I have now 3 times tried to download the file..
everytime it sees the file as an 110 mb file.. which is okay..
First time.. Down was said to be complete after 5,50 Mb.. ???
Second time .. It told me complete after 54 mb.....
3. time.. after 27 Mb..
Would it be possible to use another hosting service since I have not much trust in 4shared anymore... :/
BTW: I can only download with app. 20kb/sec which is taking over 2 hours to download a 110 mbit file.. Should take me nothing more than 1-2 minutes... (Is on a 15 Mbit line)

I don't think so. Rooted ROM and official are different, the OTA update only can use in official, but if it only minor update, like fix the bug, rooted rom still can do it.
Just try it, Make a nandroid backup first, you will know it later, if it ok, no error notificarion will happend.

WIFI & Tethering (incl. usb) Fixed (all credits to Zuk for help)
Now only carrier network needs to be fixed & then it will be ready for release, You got to wait atleast a week or two Coz' m going out of town

what about stock camera .... have you succeeded to port it ....

stock camera app is already there but screen is black when using new egl drivers, working fine with old one

everything is working fine, games n all
.35 is less patching & newer is always better, i updated to .35 but there was no miui, so i decieded to make one (i dont make anyone to update to it, just the one are on .35 & finding less rom)
mine is based on 2.3.16 u8800, old but i dont care as now weekly miui gb updates are minor
all credits to zuk i was just medium

According to Sony's article, the Certification and Approval phase can take up much time, so yes, the firmware could be ready a month ago and be released much later.

anyway to use the new kernel rather than the ICS beta kernel?

The certification can be done in phases. This firmware was probably ready on the network layer (WiFi, GSM, BT, ...). When that happens they can send it in for certification because those are the major changes. When they send in the next ICS version (final?) it'll take a lot less long to get through the certification process, because some elements won't have changed when compared to the last certified version.

This article over at XperiaBlog seems to think it's not final too. I'd hope this too because I would have thought they'd update the apps to line up with the new style (more like the Xperia S apps, they did it with the phone, why no more?)

no WiFi, I flashed everything required but nothing, this is the second time i tried

I tested this:
BUG:
- not too smooth
- video recording **** (1280x720, 24fps some lag on recording )
- this rom is not official (from China, more chinese apps)
- superuser not working me
Working:
- working with ics beta kernel with cwm
- bt, wifi working
- apn, gsm, data
- phonebook very very fast

Go onto android market and download wifi tether for root users its the one in the picture below. Then you will have wifi tether

i tryed uploading to my putlocker account but they doing fixes so cant upload so for now im uploadingto file dropper its the best i can do untill putlockers back up
EDIT: i just started upload to devhost and it says 22 minutes left
