8.9 4G 7320 - Any physical (size) difference to 7300 / 7310? - Galaxy Tab 8.9 General

Hi,
Without all the boring details for why etc...
Samsung galaxy 8.9 4G (7320) through Telstra. Looking for a specific case for it which i found on ebay, but it says its suitable for the 7300 and 7310, just like most of the cases i can find.
So i was wondering if there is any physical difference between the 7300/7310 and the 7320 that would mean it wouldnt fit a case for 7300/7310 versions.
Any help is much appreciated.

There are no differences in size between the 8.9 versions.

Awesome, thanks guys.
Realise its probably a stupid question but i just wanted to check as its not my tablet. Otherwise i would have just ordered it and tested it out myself.

[Q] Besides G.Tab, any other Tablet that offers 'Phone' abilities via SIM Card?

I currently own a Samsung Tablet with Phone functionality via T-Mobile, I'm wondering if there are any other tablets out there that offer this capabilities (hacked or not hacked)?
I use T-Mobile, so itd have to be compatible with T-Mobile/SIM Card... or is the Galaxy Tab my only option?
Love my tab as phone, so much real estate on the screen it's amazing, totally outweighs the size of the phone... just wondering if i have more choices out there
I believe the flyer and the 8.9 tab

[Q] n7000,n700 or i9220?

hello everyone
i'm getting the galaxy note very soon, i know that the n7000 is the international model, i also searched to see if there is another model and i found the i9220,
i want the international model not any other model (happened to me when i bought the galaxy s ii i9100, and it was replaced with i9100G model), so i called
the salesman and asked him to ask what version does samsung provider in my country sell, he replied that it is the "n700", not n7000, "n700", and said that they may mean the n7000, i searched in google and it seems that "n700" is really there (i couldn't find any picture for it) so my question is what is the difference between these three models? does the n700 even exist? and can i use any of these model's' roms in the other two models?
thanks everyone
Hello darkelfa2,
The Samsung Galaxy Note is called N7000 or i9220.
Those are surely the same.
I've googled but the Galaxy N700 does not exist.
This is a mistake of the salesman.
If you want to go sure, that you're buying the right model, give a look at this:
amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Unlocked-Android-Smartphone/dp/B0061YRDX6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326991931&sr=8-1
Sorry for my bad english...
Schnizel.
thanks for the fast reply,
so, you mean that n7000's roms 100% work on the i9220 and vice versa? is that right?
n7000 = i9220, so yes
i9220 is the prototype of n7000. all galaxy note's that can bought are surely N-7000
but i9220 can be seen as an alternative description/product code.
So, yes all Roms for i9220 ARE working on N-7000 and all N-7000 Roms an a i9220.
xD

be careful i have a i9220 and it is not a note it does not have an S-pen which is what i wanted in the note, but, as far as the rom's i am not sure about that if they are compatable i would like to know so i can buy an S-pen and try to see if this will work on it

[Q] Can you explain the different models, I'm confused

Hello
I'm a Canadian looking to buy an 8.9 from Negri Electronics, but I'm confused on pricing and models. Here's my confusion:
Samsung P7300 3G 16GB 3G/GSM Galaxy 8.9" Tab (Soft Black) $498.50
https://negrielectronics.com/samsung-p7300-3g-gsm-galaxy-8-9-tab-soft-black.html
Samsung GT-P7310MAYXAR Tablet 8.9 16GB Wifi Only (Metallic Gray) $495.50
https://negrielectronics.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-101-16gb-mg.html
Samsung SGH-i957 Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE (AT&T) (Unlocked) (Black) $579.50
https://negrielectronics.com/samsung-sgh-i957-galaxy-tab-8-9-lte-at-t-unlocked-black.html
What's confuses me the most is that the P7300 3G 16GB has been reduced from $594 down to $498, the same price as the wifi version ($495.50), but it has 3G/GSM. What gives? Why is the P7300 3G so cheap?

I think the question is, Why is the P7310 so expensive? In the US you can pick one up from Best Buy for $400. If you don't need the 3G functionality, it's a shame that you have to pay for it!
FWIW, I got my P7300 in Cambodian for $477, which I think is pretty average.

Will anyone have information about this variant being able to upgrade to ICS based on this model (SC-05D). Thinking of buying this variant vs the international N7000.
Or this japan variant is really closed to N7000?
Thanks in advance

It's going to upgrade to ICS for sure. When is not curtain but there's nothing to worry about. Especially because it's the LTE version. LTE is all about speed!

The Docomo variant is more closely related to the "original" Korean variant SHV-E160 or the American variant I717, because they are equipped with the Qualcomm SnapDragon processors for the LTE bands and NFC, albeit with the exact same exterior as the N7000.
I'd definitely stay away from this model for the following reasons:
1.) It will be locked to Docomo, just like the Galaxy Nexus that they price slashed on.
2.) Development will be very limited due to low ownership of this phone in XDA.
3.) LTE bands may not work at your region due to frequency differences.
4.) It requires a MicroSIM instead of a regular sized SIM Card.

Galaxy Note N7000 - Hardware Differences of the same model?

Hi guys,
Recently, I purchased an Unlocked Galaxy Note N7000 at J&R NYC. As there is no unlocked U.S. Model, the O.S. that came was Chinese or Korean. I checked the label behind the battery and I concluded the model was from some Asian country. Ok, after some time the screen along with the digitizer broke and I had to purchase a new one (as Samsung Brazil don't fix models from other countries not even paying for the repair).
I purchased one officially from Brazil that is also a Galaxy Note N7000.
I feel it strange though. I seems slower, the screen sometimes lags when scrolling and I don't remember this lag from my previous one.
The question is, can they have different hardware ? Both are N7000, one from China/Korean and the other from Brazil.
Thank you and best regards,
Amid
I can't say for certain, but I know there are different versions of the firmware for each region which could account for the differences you are observing, at least in part.
If they're both N7000 model than they have the same hardware ( unless one of them is a fake, which i'm sure it is not ). Any differences might be caused by firmware though. You'd have to flash the same stock or custom rom on both of them and then check.
Thank you guys. So, this also implies that the digitizer is the same for both so if I can purchase one digitizer from Samsung Brazil it will work in the other one, correct ?
