Hi.
I ahve just flashed the KANGY ROM for the nexus s, and it has a theme chooser.
But the standard theme for the system ui, and contacts, dialer, you name it isnt the stock Ice cream sandwich theme. Its more black and white..
So my question is, is there any theme for themechooser that is the exact copy of the stock ICS framework? dialer, contacts,sms,settings, the right colors .???
Dont really like the standard for this rom
maybe one of the holo themes by RICARDO CERQUEIRA, serach form him on the market or xda, his themes are stock like with oher colors. if he provides one with the original one I don'd not.
Wondering the same thing for the same ROM. Doesn't look like Ricardo has any stock themes in Play.

EDIT: Applied the outline theme to see it. Doesn't change the dark email, sms, gmail, etc.

The KANGY ROM uses the Nova Launcher, which doens't support other themes, it uses his own theme.
With the Apex app, you can download themes from the Play Store!

I actually do use Apex as well. The themes I have tried don't effect the email and other apps though.

It's been a work in progress but I think I've finally perfected my themes. They're more a compilation of a ton of other themes with a little bit of tweaking. I hope you enjoy. These will only work with MIUI.... Which i'm sure those who use MIUI would already know, but I figured I'd refresh ya. I'm so glad you like them! The pink is my favorite too. It's the OCD coming out because my themes have to match my phone cases. Hopefully i'll be able to finish them in a few more colors soon!
I'm really loving this theme and all, but I have a couple of questions. How do I fix the fitting issue with the dial pad? It seems to not register the right buttons like when I press 5, it presses 3. Also, the icons that are not themed are very dark and hard to see, how would I be able to correct that issue?

I like the outline color when switching screens love the folders. More background colors would he nice and maybe a window for the icon themer to add a reflection to the icons, and of course more icons themed. Maybe more wallpapers too. For folders just to try something different maybe a little more color and rounded to match icons. Love the theme for most part. Its my favorite out of the 7 I have you really should put in the market. Ill continue to test for you too.

i love your work and waws wondering if you can help me here.
I have developed a theme for tsf launcher myself but am running into a problem and was hoping to get some help.
i have created a theme for TSF and signed it as well
when i try to install it from .apk file through my sd card >> it works
i emailed it to myself and installed it through there on different devices and it worked.
i uploaded it in the market and when it is installed from there , it installs BUT DOES NOT appear in theme section in tsf launcher .
i need to know what i need to do to ressolve it.

I was so used to using the Nexus "X" logo as my applications drawer icon on my Nexus 4 and 5 that I didn't think twice about using it as my app drawer icon on my OnePlus One. Then it occurred to me to use the OnePlus logo as the app drawer icon, but I couldn't find a version that was translucent. So I created one, plus one, plus one.... Here's the collection of OnePlus icons that I made. Hopefully, this will save some folks the time and effort if they want to use these as icons.
Some screenshots are included in the second post to give you an idea what I'm talking about...
Please note that these files are in the .png format -- it's easier to work with transparency in that format than .jpg. My trial and error indicates that they have to remain in .png format to remain transparent...

The steps are roughly the same, whether it's Nova or Apex Launchers.
0. Download the graphic image(s) you want to use from my original post.
1. Long-press the App Drawer icon (i.e. hold it for 2 seconds) so that a menu appears
2. Tap Edit, and the next menu shows the name and graphic image associated with that icon
3. Tap the graphic image (for App Drawer, it's usually a circle with several dots in it)
4. Navigate the choices and select the graphic image you downloaded in Step 0.
The following screenshots are for Nova Launcher.

Couple of questions:
1- do I just hold down the image in your OP and select save image. When I do so, it goes to my gallery.
2- now, when I try to edit the image to select the downloaded image files, they do not show up with my apps. I can fallow your nova steps fine, but not sure method to download the images to then view and select in the apps icon screen.

Official Case and Cover Colors
All right, some downtime at work allowed me go a little crazy! :silly: :silly:
Here are the clear and translucent variations of the OPO logo using the official CASE and flipCOVER colors available.
Even did the bamboo one as a background. And the native black sandstone from the 64gb OPO.
My apologies for being "quick and dirty" -- there are individual pixel deficits that are noticeable when the graphics are enlarged (as in these full views) that are not visible when the files are used as intended as icons. As I have more time, I will go back and fix these and let ya'll know when my perfectionistic inclinations are satisfied. {EDIT: Completely fixed and cleaned up}

I've been unsuccessful in porting the stock launcher for custom roms since it's designed for SDK24 and keeps fc. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do so? I'd prefer not to use another launcher. I'm slowly learning Android coming from iOS.
If you haven't, give NovaLauncher a try. It's very customizable, and has a bunch of extra features!

Try install the pixel launcher. Which 99% the same as the stock launcher
Hey, I googled Moto G5 launcher apk and it took me to tech droid. You can actually download the apk for the stock launcher and clock widget directly from the article or just search XDA threads.

There used to be a black version of the email app. I installed substratum, but haven't learned how to fully get it going. So I'm not sure if it will theme the email app or not. If not, does anyone know if there is a black version of the email app still?

I use swift dark which is a paid version and works for android 7 and 8. It's got ton of apps you can choose to theme and both gmail and Samsung stock email app are supported.

I actually have swift dark myself. I just started with the substratum system and this is my first and only theme. I'm having problems with the "online" status of Andromeda. I finally got the basic theme working, but none of my apps changed to dark. I was disappointed, but then, I read about some of the issues. I have had a chance to hook the phone back to the machine, in order to try and get Andromeda online for good(if that's possible at this point???).. But I may have some time today to try..

Yes they seem to be Chinese devs with their main focus on money making and there for have added some kind of verification feature to andromeda to stop piracy. This is a mega pain in the rear end but it's only for non rooted phones so you could just root your phone and then the hassle of andromeda will be gone.
In regards to the theme it self I had many issues my self but I used the telegram group for swift dark and I found the many random people there very helpfully in explaining the how to.
From what I can remember was u need a modded version of substratum which they linked me in the telegram group.
Also I had my apps themed which caused major issues due to apps getting updated and after the updates I got FC spams. In order to stop all that u need to carry a damn pc in your back pocket to reapply the stupid theme for an updated version of the theme.
Or you can just disable to auto app update in play store but I forgot all about this annoyance and tapped update all which rendered me screwed as I was out and about without a pc in my back pocket.

I am currently using the High Contrast Theme that is currently available on the Samsung Theme Store. Which provides you with a black background.
