You cut down the SIM to fit. there are 4 standard sizes of SIM cards, as shown below. It's important to note that in all sizes, only the bit under the contacts actually contains the relevant circuitry. The rest is just empty plastic there to make the card easier to handle.

If you look closely or measure, you'll find you can fit 2 microSIMs (15x12mm) into a miniSIM (25x15mm, this is what the IncS uses).

You can look at HTC Desire V. I gifted it to my dad. Work awesome, though it's dual standby

Dual Sim kit is available in Pakistan in only Rs. 150 or $2 only But i try it only on Nokia N Series as dual sim mobiles are out so there is no need for the Dual Sim Kit.

Does it really works in IncS. Can some1 confirm?

I really doubt
I opened the case, and I really doubt ICS can support dual simcard

Internal MicroSD port ?

Hi
I found this video of a Diamond assembly:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJ6XTjWD1i8
I not sure, but it look like a micro SD card ?
what does?
look at 25 seconds, I think it's a microSD Card !
it looks like that
hummm
does to me too
and it looks like it is located very next to MiniUSB port
It's the sim slot...
Hmm .. would be nice if it is a micoSD...
but i think it is the Microphone rubber ... or?

yeah really a tiny sim slot i am looking for technician do dissassembly my phone I want to change sim card
NisseDILLIGAF : such high resoultion foto shows that is probably that rubber ...but still I have doubt ... that rubber is placed vertically while looking on phone while that part the technician puts in is placed horizontally.
EDIT : but after looking really close I am almost convinced it`s that rubber what a pitty
Ok... here you can see both pictures ...
I think one of them has but it the wrong way
The only port or slot i see is the sim card one, and I imagine that the man knows what he is doing and would notice something like that in a phone sold with no memory card support. And yes...the rubber looks like it is in its correct possition
Is way too thick for MicroSD.
Would be great though! But I doubt the Diamond would support MicroSD bigger than 4GB if you would like to replace it, very little devices support those sizes yet
So, I wait for a pcb replacement part with 8 or 16 Gb !...
It's a Vibrator
I have seen this video... It's the phone Vibrator.. and not the Micro SD card. I think the memory will be a flash memory, which will be in the form of a Micro Chip..
I've just been thru the 109 page HTC Service manual and it isn't mentioned there......

Should I switch or not?

So I just moved to US and my brother got my the worst Sprint phone ever. I seriously want to upgrade. I had a look at the Sprint store and I am eligible for the upgrade in 2014 which sucks. I can buy a replacement phone from Sprint but they have super crazy prices over there.
So my next option was to buy a used one online. So I found some great deals for used ones and I am satisfied with them. But here comes the dilemma.
My friend told that I could get a TMobile Sim card for a $0.99 (http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/prepaid-phone/T-Mobile-Prepaid-SIM-Activation-Kit) and then use any GSM unlocked phone.
So the Question is whether I should switch to tmobile and go pre-paid OR buy a used one right now and then after 2 years be more happy!
What would you guys do?
Thanks
Yeah, I like pancakes.

You can't use a T-Mobile SIM card in your Spirit phone so either way you need buy a used phone. (Whether it's a Sprint compatible one or a T-Mobile one). Personally, I hate CDMA phones. I'd go with T-Mobile.

Add a physical MicroSD slot to Moto X? Convert SIM slot to accept/read MicroSD ???

I was very disappointed to find out the Moto X does not have a MicroSD slot.
Is there a way to convert the SIM slot to take and read a MicroSD instead ????
Can we add a physical MicroSD slot to the Moto X? P
If so, can someone post the source, parts, prices, method, and software and modifications required ???
I'm aware of the new SECOND GENERATION external Meenova microSD reader, but having it hanging off the microUSB port makes me uncomfortable.
http://www.meenova.com/
Just use a USB OTG
Even if converting the SIM slot was an option, it would require removing the SIM card, making the phone inoperable.
Not happening I'm afraid.
See post 2. ?

The meenova is a hard, all in one style, might damage the port. But the dongle, soft OTG, short adaptor is ok
What about the dual-USB-OTG sticks? My 64gb Sandisk works great, only issue is that I can't charge while using it.

HTC Legally required to update..

Hey guys
I have been doing research ever since HTC announced they were cancelling lollipop and remembered when I got the phone, opened the box first thing I saw was a card stating "Two years of updates". Does anyone else remember this card/still have it as I am planning to take a a case to HTC on false advertising.
I bought the phone in september 2014.. i don't remember this card but i'm sure that they just don't care about update for a non flagship phone ..
Will have a look but don't remember seeing one
Sent from my HTC One mini 2 using xda premium
See image below....confirmed that the htc one range gets two years updates as part of advantage

Well then post this images on twitter .. and tell htc that they don't follow their own speak ...
Isn't that for USA only ? Though updates apply anywhere but was the Mini 2 sold in USA ?

The HTC One Remix is the Verizon variant of the One mini 2. So yeah, it must be updated. And HTC Advantage isn't USA only, HTC's Indian site also showcases it.

That's the only notable difference(despite the obvious radio change) ..... Otherwise everything else is the same

I think that is important difference.
You can find more information here https://source.android.com/compatibility/5.0/android-5.0-cdd.pdf
Looking at the linked PDF 1GB should be enough. Screen is normal and cpu is 32 bit. CM12 runs fine apart from camera and audio glitches.
Thread closed, no obvious point continuing conjecture.
Whatever HTC appeared to promise, or not, updates for however long may not necessarily imply updates to Lollipop. Updates ad infinitum could mean KitKat updates and mini-updates etc.

Question Single SIM Edge 30 Ultra. It's possible use dual sim card tray holder?

I buy a Motorola Edge 30 Ultra (XT2241-2)(UPC 0840023232909) but is Single SIM. In other brand phones locked for the operator, I know examples, If you change your sim card tray for a dual sim works. In addition, maybe you need to change the firmware. Do you know if its possible in this model or maybe in another Motorola Phone.
Are you sure that it is a single sim? I haven't heard of single sim variant of this phone.
Have in mind that the sim slot in this phone is a little different. The two cards don't lie side by side, but back to back of each other.
First, Thanks for the answer. Yes, I am sure.

I'm from Argentina and I have the same model but I would think that it is impossible since it has only one IMEI, although I am hopeful.

UPC 0840023232510 is the dual sim, just noting it down
edit: the complete model name is
Code:
Motorola XT2201 edge 30 Ultra Dual Sim 12+256GB interstellar black UPC 0840023232510
I'm surprised they have a single SIM variant of this phone.
Try buying a dual sim card tray first and see whether it works.
If it doesn't work, it is possible to flash the firmware to dual sim but you need to unlock the bootloader and root your phone which is quite tricky these days.
Hello. I'm from Argentina and I have an edge 30 pro (xt2201-1) single SIM. I would like to activate the 2nd imei to make it dual SIM since it is seen that the contacts of the second SIM are on the motherboard. Greetings.

No because IMEI 2 is equal to NULL not equal to 0
It's not disabled, it doesn't exist

Hello, thanks for answering. And where can I see that data on my cell phone?
I already have the bootloader unlocked and rooted. But when I try to flash other roms that are from Brazil or Europe where the dual sim versions are sold, my cell phone indicates "Failure" in several lines of the flashing process.
