How do i fix message icon notification. The number of messages still appear although i already read all the messages.

Any more information? Have you looked at the messages in the app not just previewed them? Try deleting the messages to see if that helps.

Happened to me also..I first did a restart,but that din help.Then later i just did a reset.Now its perfectly fine.
I know its hard to rest as you would lose the data,even me,but i had no choice.

when i receive an SMS i'm going in the sms in TF3D, but the first message displayed is not the last sms received. (as in a mobile phone)

Not sure if this will help, but try it anyways..
Slide to message screen.. then tap on All Messages
Then Tap on Menu
Tap on Tools
Sort By -
Make sure that Received is selected
All the best.

I got the same problem before. I did reflash other rom. Then everything are fine. Cheers

I had same problem,when I installed another TAB ,I thing CommManager. When I uninstall this tab ,everything was OK.
Hi,
I had my diamond fixed with HTC since the device would not be able to connect to the network anymore. Since I have it back, I cannot reply to unread SMS anymore like I used to:
I get an SMS, and click on the messages-line in my today-screen (touchflo is off), or on the notifyer. It opens the SMS-thread and displays the new SMS with a light-blue background. If I want to answer by clicking into the text-field, the cursor wont appear and I cannot write. In order to reply to the SMS, I have to _ALWAYS_ first close the message app again, re-open it and then it works, after the unread mark is cleared and there is no blue background anymore behind my latest SMS... any idea what to do and how to get back to the old way where I was able to reply immediately?

Solution
Hey,
i had the same problem and by chance found a workaround.
When opening an unread SMS you have to:
FIRST: Open the keypad / keyboard
SECOND: Tab the text/reply field
This way the cursor should appear and you should be able to type your answer.

I have a captivate and now when I text it puts all of my text one after the other and the other person I'm having a conversation with directly above. So it shows all of the recipients and then it shows all of mine. Very annoying......has anyone else experienced this issue? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you're having problems with the sms time stamps. Download an app like SMS Time fix or something and calculate the times yourself and offset it.

There is a sms history log. It will show all the back and forth conversation with a contact and put it in chronological order. It's a feature not a bug
You can reduce the message history in the menu settings of the sms app. By default it keeps 200 messages per contact.
Hi, I got an error from my gear's S-voice today when trying to reply an SMS.
The S-voice was unable to reply a message, it will reply "i'm unable to send the message", and on the phone, it will show "failed to send".
However, when sending a new SMS (i.e. not replying through the notification), it was able to work.
Has anyone encountered this problem?

I get this also. If you check the SMS message it will most likely have an incorrect country code. Mine should be +44 however it shows as 44 and I get a network failure.

I checked and the country code is wrong too. Did not have the "+" symbol. Guess that's a bug then...

Check the format of the number in your contacts. I posted about this week's ago: numbers with parentheses don't work.
Edit: someone replied that + doesn't work either. Bummer.

I have exactly the same problem, I live in Germany and when I reply through:
- pre-made SMS: OK (it is sent to 00 49 1xxxxxxxx)
- through S VOICE: *does not work* "Unable to send SMS" (it is sent to 49 1 0000 xxxxxxxx --> WRONG Number)
I do not understand how a big company as Samsung fails to make that work...
PS: do you receive WhatsApp or Viber notifications on your Galaxy??? I get none from Whatsapp and Viber...
Doesn't know also why Samsung doesn't do anything??

Create new one works flawlessly.
i alreay wrote to samsung support, but i dont expect that they will take this seriously and inform their devs..
