[Q] Facebook and twitter session expires 10 times a day - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After i upgrated from german 4.0 LPY to Turkey LPY i have this problem... Social hub, always show a pop up that says "Facebook session expired" I have to write my pass again and again... I couldnt find a solution. I tried to remove the accounts and create them again, but it didnt work... Do you know any solution to get rid of that problem ?

any help?

Perhaps change passwords and secret questions on different medium and ultra clean install of rom without other applications. Then try official facebook and twitter. Then if its not reproduced install your other apps one by one to check which one could be the culprit.

i'm using galaxy tab running on 2.2 Stock ROM.. and un-rooted.
i got a problem when opening the market, apps , and click the "just in" tab , it just keep crashing.. and there's a notification pop.up saying com.blablabla has stop working, and clicking the "force close" button will close all the apps..
after do some searching in google, some of the articles guide me to hard reset the tab.. but no luck, still got the same problem after hard resetting the device.
any advice ? sorry for the bad english.
Thanks in advanced
This happens to me too. I already flashed a different rom, yet the problem persists.

try to clear market cache go to applications and then go to market application and press clear cache.
Try factory reset if all fails.

I tried that. Hell, I even re-flashed a rom. O_O
thanks for the replies guys.
i asked the local samsung store, and they said it's a bug from the market.
so we must wait till the new version of market are released.
Do the following if ur phone is rooted.
1 clean market cache
2 run market enabler and select t mobile
3 run market the problem should be resolved.

well im glad i found this thread cause i been having this problem i have noticed it when its on 3g every once in a while but it happens most when its on wifi i have reset my tablet to stock like 3 times and have cleared the cache many other times. i was starting to think that my tablet was messed up or broke...
I think its a server side issue from google. I had this issue as well with stoxk and custom rom. Reflashing did nothing clearing cache. I did change my csc and spoofed to a german operator when my issue got magically fixed on its own.
I agree with above. If I remember correctly, this started since the last update.
ok quick question non android related, has anyone been having problems with gmail while using a pc, like it takes for ever to load or it stays loading? I ask cause I started having my market mess up and now my gmail keeps loading even thouth its loaded. I hope I made sense lol im alsmost falling asleep while I type...

it happens to me at times, mostly at work, so im thinking it's a firewall (at work) issue.. what i do is simply login to gmail (using chrome) and once the reloading loop happens, i open gmail in a new tab.
>a little thanks goes a looooong way<
ok cool thanks i just hope google fixes all these issues soon

[Q] Problem with Whatsapp

Hi, I don't know where to post this thread xD... so here it is:
I've been using PrimeHD9+nAa13 and it's cool, but today I noticed I was connected to my wifi, internet working, but whatsapp doesn't...
It doesn't display any info under the name of the person, and the messages are not even delivered to the server, they have the little clock.
I tried restarting the modem, forgetting the network on my X8, uninstalling and reinstalling whatsapp and nothing seems to work...
what can I do? some people said they had the same problem and formatted their phones to get it to work :C
Try to delete /data/data folder in phone
Make backup
Sent from my E15i using xda premium
With root explorer (or other root file manager) go to data/data/and delete the com.whatsup file
Uninstall the app
Reboot to cwmrecovery/advance/wipe dalvik cache/wipe/back to main menu/reboot and install again the whatsup
there is a problem in whatsapp server the problem is not from your phone
i have the same problem here and many android users have the problem
No problem here. maybe only few hours ago. you can check their services by navigating to Setting>Help>System Status.
I don't face any whatsapp problem last night.
Now its working correctly... I installed a new ROM but it didn't work at that time, now it works and I think it was a problem of their servers xd.
thanks for the answers.

Samsung error. Happens to me also.
Wait for a samsung to fix it.
Also try deleting your google account and readding it again.
It helped to reduce number of closings

Take it back to the shop as faulty. I had a problem with my phone failing to recognise my sim card until I restarted the phone. Also zoom text widget kept on crashing. I had already rooted my phone though. Jellybean has quite a few bugs in it at present meaning some apps act unpredictably.

HE DOESN'T need to take the phone as faulty.

It happened in S3 also.
Until Samsung fixed it with the update

facebook problem.

I gave my mum my xperia x8 a few years ago. and even when I had it, facebook just wouldn't work at all. it just says connection lost tap to retry and nothing happens.
I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, clearing all data etc also tried different apk's and it still does the same to this day.
does anyone know why? my mum is having to use the browser version which is also rubbish.
the phone is running stock android 2.1 and it is rooted.
I'm not using Facebook, but I would presume that it should be working properly being one of the stock apps you received with your phone. Why it doesn't work, I wouldn't know. Might be that some of the newer updates screwed it up.
Some solutions come to mind:
1. Try a Facebook replacement app - I've seen people mention FriendCaster on numerous occasions, but there are others.
2. Try a hard reset - reflash the stock ROM.
3. Flash a newer ROM - something along the lines of 2.2 or 2.3.
My recommendation would be that you flash a newer ROM along with installing a replacement app.
Hi,
Facebook app itself is having issue.. its very slow and i faced same problem. Its better to try other replacement apps.
Me too,my facebook keep force close and freeze all time, now im using friedcaster too.
Use your Facebook account by przrzeglądarkę Opera Mobile or Opera Mini,i just do the standard android 2.1 from sony.

Saving new contact and he disappear after few sec

hi,
I have a strange bug that make me many times just disappointed about Samsung so much
I get message from Whatsapp. its a new friend. i press add, new contact, i fill the details in the contact screen. i press OK. i see it is saved on google as i wanted.
i go back and... it haven't been saved. I try to search the contact but no sign of it.
I tried another way, I add new contact from the contact built in app of the note 5.
same thing again.
been in a new study group, added all my friends, came home and no one added ...
if i wait a few sec after i add (before get out of the contact screen) or press edit after saved then i have a chance to keep the new contact.
it was a bug on the 5.1.1 ver and now same on android 6.
it is driving me crazy !!!
is it only me ?
is it Samsung ?
It was on many kind of Roms and now also on the stock as well.
and yes, sync is always work on my phone.
Please help !
Thanks
It has nothing to do with Samsung or with your phone. Just clean the cache in settings for Whatssapp then restart the phone. I have a note 5 also and everything is working fine. Eventually uninstall and reinstall Whatssapp.

Thanks for your answer.
clean is impossible while i have already had a full format and full wipe and i do it many times.
it is a bug i guess.
and what is the connection to whatsapp while the "contacts app is made by samsung and built on the google contacts database ?
Works fine for me. Nobody else seems to be having this issue.
Try starting your phone in safe mode and try adding a contact.

I just started having this problem few days ago
Happened to me 1 time but I just added them through the gmail contacts on the web and haven't had any issues since. Check the accounts on your phone, check the google account and make sure everything is syncing properly.
I have the same issue on MM Note5. Still no solution?
