Do you have an unlocked bootloader? If so, you need to extract the boot.img file from the ROM's zip file and flash it manually in FASTBOOT USB mode using the command:
fastboot flash boot [path to boot.img]

Yes do I use google translate
I flashed my ROM and I get stuck on the HTC page, if I did the same when i restore

Actually it's French but I really suck at it But if I'm getting it right, you quite understood his problem.

Tell us about your phone. How did you root? Which custom recovery are you using?
Also please read the above reply to your initial question!

I root from HtcDev and i install CWM
I test the fastboot tomorrow

OK then that is definitely your problem.
Flashing the boot.img file in FASTBOOT USB mode will fix you up.
You will also need to do this when you restore a backup in CWM. You will manually have to flash the boot.img in the backup directory on your SD card.

Now when I want to turn it on (normal or recovery) it will not turn on but when I want to charge the orange light flashes
Thank you

I don't understand what i have to do :crying:

So did you pull the battery when you kept getting stuck on the HTC splash screen?
How many times did you try that and have to pull the battery?

Yes, yesterday ans today I had to remove a tens of times and tried to install the ROM about a stock tens of times as

So have you been able to try flashing the boot.img file in FASTBOOT USB mode yet? Or is that what you are trying to do now?
If you have indeed pulled the battery several times yesterday as you stated, then it could be possible that you now have a damaged emmc chip in the phone and that is why it will not boot.

I made the fastboot but he said he can not find the boot
And how can I do to boot it on something?
thank you

You need to extract the boot.img from the ROM's zip file and then copy it to the same directory where you have installed the fastboot.exe

Instead of cwm is that?

When you unlocked your IncS using the HTCDEV.com site, it had instructions on setting up the Android SDK tools adb.exe and fastboot.exe on your PC. That is the directory you should copy the boot.img file to.
Then you would use the same instructions to put the phone in FASTBOOT USB mode like you did when you generated the unlock token, but you would enter the command:
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Accessing Recovery ?

Hey,
I'm stuck in a bootloop and would like to access the recovery mode...However I used to do that from the rom (Reboot -> Recovery or Reboot in Recovery from Rom Manager) which I can't do since I'm in a bootloop...
How do I access recovery ? Tell me it's not fastboot...the thing is a huge pain in Windows and I'm on holiday, not using my computer...
Thanks !

The only other way to go that i can see is using Odin Multiloader and reflash the system, as to my knowledge there is no way to access recovery outside adb (and one would need adb support which system recovery does not give) and from within the rom (which probably uses adb anyway).

This will put the tablet into stock 3.0.1 with root; you can then install other roms.
However, i suggest using fastboot, which is better; rs125 can give you the steps.
Oh **** this ****. I went the Odin way and lost all my data. Now I have to go through this all **** I went through when I first unlocked the tab that only really worked with Ubunty anyway. No adbwinapi.dll, no working fastboot, just stupid ****ing Honeycomb 3.0 with not even French on it. All this on vacation...
Sometimes I just consider to go with Apple just because I know I'll get updated and supported without having to go command line on evertything...
Now I've got a useless tablet. And I'm stuck with that ****ty tablet for one more year...
Bastava fare fastboot boot recovery.img e stavi in recovery...ODIN formatta l'intero sistema...è scontato
It was enough to "fastboot boot recovery.img" and went into recovery ...ODIN formats the entire system is taken for granted ...

yeah, that's the way to go: flashing unofficial custom stuff, bricking the tab, complaining about the endless possibilities such an open samsung device with an open OS offers, and then praising apple because of no command line issues. :cyclops:

[Q] HELP !! bricked HTC ONE

Hi,
im new to all this so im know im probably going to ask whats already been asked previously
ive been reading through thread after thread and cant find a fix
i have a HTC ONE from Three Ireland Network
i had rooted my HTC one so my car could download its phonebook properly
i had team win recovery project installed
last night Three Ireland released the 4.4 Update but it failed
i didnt realise that the carrier OTA updates dont work
so i found a ROM on here that i thought would work
OTA_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_H3G_UK_4.20.771.17-3.62.771.3_release_3536491kghgv33dtz4m18n
i used the team win recovery to flash it and now my phone wont boot
i can get into the boot loader but im stuck in a loop
i dont seem to have team win anymore so get it and try another rom
i had originally used odin3 to get team win on
i have the device in fastboot usb but the pc wont see the phone to be able to use the original odin method
so right now im screwed, i dont know how to fix
please help!

First off.. Odin is used for Samsung Firmware only..Do not use on a HTC One or any other make of phone..
Have you got the drivers for HTC..if not, get them from here..http://www.htc.com/www/software/htc-sync-manager/
If you can access the bootloader and fastboot.. Post a fastboot getvar all minus your serial no and imei no.
thanks for getting back to me!

Here is a nandroid backup using twrp

make sure you are using twrp 2.6.3.3
if not here is the link-- http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
check the MD5sum is correct before flashing has it sometimes doesnt play nice with the downloads
You can download the MD5 Checker from here http://getmd5checker.com/
PS this is only if your bootloader is unlocked
thanks so much for all this

first rename the twrp recovery to recovery
then enter the bootloader
connect to pc and open up a CMD window where your adb and fastboot commands are," shift and left mouse to open up CMD "
type fastboot devices. if a random serial no is returned your ok
put your recovery into the adb/fastboot folder and
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
once done
fastboot erase cache
reboot into bootloader and choose recovery

put your recovery into the adb/fastboot folder and

once done

If you still have the OTA file you can extract from it the firmware.zip file and flash it after RELOCKING your bootloader.
You will get your OS back for starters and then you can proceed again with custom firmware flashing and Rom flashing.

Hi there, sorry couldnt help last night, but i just read the thread in more detail which recovery are you trying to flash? Link please
The filesize doesn't look right to me!! (Post #8, sending 8866KB)
Please check MD5 on the download, to confirm it's not a corrupt download. If you're downloading from TWRP site, it doesn't play nice with download managers/some browsers, and you end up with a bad download.
Also, please use copy/paste for the command prompt outputs, reading screenshots is much harder. thanks

Switch the phone off, connect to PC - must have drivers and ADB installed.
Boot by Volume- & Power - must boot to Fastboot.
Flash boot.img - corresponding to your installed ROM, to the boot partition.
You can use Firmwsre Finder - from PC or another Android to download update.zip (FullOTA, corresponding to your ROM), unzip and extract boot.img from update.app by using Huawei Update Extractor on the PC.
And take care what you flash and where

How to flash TWRP [Android 11, One UI 3.1] on Samsung A30 (SM-A305F/DS)

Hello everyone!
I have tried several times flashing TWRP with ODIN on my device (Samsung A30), but i get "fail" message on ODIN screen.
I have unlocked Developer Mode and checked OEM unlocking and USB debugging to be active.
Can someone have the time and will to give me a solution in few steps? I want to flash a custom rom after, so i would appreciate your time on responding me!
Regards!
I had this same problem of giving an error in the installation of TWRP, in fact, before installing TWRP, you have to install vbmeta, it is what blocks the installation of TWRP, install it and then install TWRP that will work, download vbmeta disabled, install in AP, then install TWRP and be happy
Thank you man! Going to, one last question, is it going to be flash-able with ODIN or do i need to use another installation method?
Thanks again for your quick response!
@Deivid Soltoski i got the same fail message even when tried to flash the vbmeta disabled...i guess its another way you install it not through ODIN...
