[TOOL] Simple full wipe cache flashable zip. - Galaxy S III Android Development

Hi guys,
Didn't saw any simple full wiping cache script for the Galaxy S3, so I decided to make one and share it to the community.
It might help and be useful in some case or if you are lazy like me at some hours
Feature :
Wiping cache
Wiping dalvik-cache
... and .. that's all
Just flash attached file via CMW recovery, (or directly via CF-Root CMW app if you are more lazy than lazy ).
Enjoy !

Flashing it like this will not create any advantage/benefit, but It can mainly solve various problems which is very often concerned by roms, kernel, after apk installation, or maintenance, etc.

How about a version with fix permissions too?

Depends on where you want to put it, but generally people put them into their "/sdcard" folder.

is it possible to create a script that can wipe cache, dalvik, fix permissions, then reboot? that would be really useful
Sent via TCP/IP

what's the problem with just wiping it manually? recovery->advance->wipe dalvik->wipe cache->fix permissions ?

This is for lazy/on-the-go members -_-

Recovery executor by fraggel does this from an app - in addition to flashing zips and installing apks.

Different CM versions have different CyanogenMod Settings. Just make sure you check your CyanogenMod settings (mainly performance) after following above suggestions.

dalvik wont wipe your phone it wipes the main cache that apps run from.
if your rooted best option would be to clean dalvik from recovery and reboot. it will take alot longer to boot, once booted i would suggest using rom manager and fix permissions. then allow it to reboot, if not reboot it yourself and it should sort its self out

ICS stock browser / plus crashes

Thanks in advance
Why did you create this thread in the Dev Section? Reported.
OP, Development section is just for that, please post your questions in the Q&A sections. Thank you, thread moved.
Try go into "Settings > Apps > All", find Browser, click on it and do "Clear cache and data".

Unfortunatly it does not work...
There are many ROMS with this problem...
What ROM are you running? What kernel? Etc. Yada Yada.
If you run what your signature is stating, have you already thought of "upgrading" your kernel/ROM combination?

What is this? How does it work? I can't open the zip to see what you have in there. If you do not provide details of what exactly it does then it is dodgy and this thread will be reported to moderators

Maybe u should explain which scripts are in the zip, describe how scripts work, AND provide info on where u got them and give credit to them cuz a lot of those script's I've seen before and I dont think u wrote them yourself.. Did you?
And BTW give people info on for what kind of Rom's are those script's working

You should be careful, cuz those script's are not properly configured "out of the box".. For example: script '"99projectbuttertopdroid", is not configured to the stock Sony home launcher, but it's looking for a cm trebuchet.. So I think those script's should be used with care and have to be modified from rom to rom and kernel to kernel .. BTW, OP should still give credit to the original author's of every script
