This is slightly different. The one I posted has a full size magnetic flap which keeps the case closed, it also has a different cutout for the speaker.

hmm. shipping fees to the US are ridiculous.. that might be a deal breaker.

I've ordered from them before (iphone metal back), it was about the same service as dealextreme, same shipping time as well.

ordered one off ebay in gray. should get it by end of next week.

I can't seem to find it on Ebay UK yet. It would be great if you could make a short review when yours arrives. It looks a good case in my opinion. Hopefully the quality is good.

Shame it's not shipped from the UK.

Mine arrived (finally).
Decent enough quality although there's a bit of seam splitting already after a few days use. Fits snugly, the smart cover functionality works flawlessly and the folding mechanics work well - 30 or 45 degree angle depending on the fold.
It won't protect much during a drop but while closed it offers good scratch and impact protection for the screen. I bought it for this and the stand function without adding much bulk to the device while in use, so I'm happy with it. When not in use I carry the tablet around in a Mofi zipped pouch and the pair complement each other nicely.

$10 bucks isn't bad. Haven't done a great deal of digging yet though for other cases.
Wondering if At&t is going to have any cases on launch. They have been historically bad in the past at carrying anything but iphone accessories on new launches.

I'm hoping AT&T includes a screen protector with it. They have with all other smart phones I've got from them.

Got my ebay case/skin. It's rubbery, fits well will contours matching the back of the phone. Camera, power, and volume are raised nubs, not cut-outs. Actually this helps with button actuation. Changes the feel of the phone in the hand substantially for the better. You have more control while typing, and you don't feel like the phone will squirt from your hand. Note this is the rubbery-soft type, not the gel type of skin (e.g. like the BodyGlove that AT&T sells).

Amzer Silicone Skin Jelly Case
I ordered the Amzer Silicon Skin Jelly Case for my Samsung Focus from Amzer.com and WOW!!! ... talk about absolute perfection!
I tried the $34 one from the AT&T store and it seemed like an idiot designed it and so of course I didn't expect much from a $10 case but figured it would be something until more are developed for this type of phone.
Boy was I wrong about this being a temporary fix because this $10 thinhg fits absolutely perfect, no obstruction with the buttons, looks amazing, feels like it protects this thing PERFECTLY! and feels so velvety smooth & grippy.
The reason I got mine already is because the black color is out of stock but not the other colors and so I ordered black for myself and maroon red for my wife and so they shipped hers already with no extra shipping charges. AND might I add that the maroon red doesn't look girly at all, it actually looks pretty bad-a%% with the black color of the phone. Of course I'm still waiting for my black one BUT for those want it now, the maroon red is the coolest color right after black.
I just ordered 2 of those jelly cases for the Wife and I, and I ordered a cool leather pouch w/belt clip case from www.focusaccessories.com to hold mine at work...
Could you post pics of your Focus with the Amzer case?

Why no mention of this case?

So I noticed there's been a lot of talk regarding the Blurex Magyc Folio case (amzn.c0m/B008D2Q8RG) but I am amazed no one has picked up on Blurex's other case for the Nexus 7, the Ultraslim model (amzn.c0m/B008D2POAS).
Based on the pictures, the case looks MUCH slimmer than most of the other cases here. It also doesn't cover the bezel, much like the Moko and Poetic. Furthermore, it has the on/off magnetic sleep feature. And guess what? The case is only $5!!
Seriously, am I missing something? Why has there been little to no talk of this case? And since it is sold by Prestige Milano, the official Blurex reseller, the possibly of it being fake is out of the question...This seems like the real deal.
That's because my Nexus 7 hasn't arrive for me to use this case. I got this. It's so cool looking. I have the Blurex Magyc Folio Case. And I'm mad you found this for $5. I spent $10. And yes I'm complaining about not being able to save $5. LoL!!
Glad to hear I'm not the only one! So could I ask, did you also buy yours from Prestige Milano and can you post any pics by any chance
Blurex has a really nice customer support and they ship to Canada for 6 bucks!

Anyone else bought/received this item? And still no answer as to why this case has been ignored (which is evident by the lack of responses in this thread). Am I missing something? Is there a catch to this case?
First of all, you use the same link twice for the Amazon item (the incorrect one for the case you're talking about). Maybe correct that so folks know what you're talking about. Secondly, that case is talked about plenty, though from different value added resellers. With that said, $5 + $2.60 shipping each is pretty darn good when compared against the wholesale price direct from China.

Thanks for pointing that out! I've edited my first post to include the correct link.
This is pretty much the same case I have for my Fire. It's a great case for the money. However, when I search for B008D2POAS, I see the case for $5. When I click on it the price goes to $9.99. LOL - I did that twice to verify, now I just did it again and it shows $9.99. Sometimes shopping at Amazon is like day trading
Anyway, with the shipping it puts the case into the same range as the other Bluerex case and some others.
I ordered this one which is pretty much the same exact case when it was $5 last week:

Do you mean mention like in this thread? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1751662
Both Blurex, all three threads I mean, mention the folio and the one you linked is the "newer" version. I was sent an email from Alex telling me they had an issue with the 600 in stock units. The wake magnet is too strong and would sleep the unit if you folded the "stand" back a lot..
The one you mention was the exact one I asked Blurex about in particular, he had to set it to no stock, until they fixed them. They were $5.00 originally (last week) - Guessing they fixed them, and raised the price to about double for the fix..
It's very similar to these;

Just picked up the Blurex Ultraslim model. You're right in that it looks much slimmer than the Blurex Magyc Folio. Also, I like that the Ultraslim model doesn't cover the bezel which I think looks really tacky.
Not impressed. While it is slimmer than the case that fellow employee got, this does not include the magic magnet, and it covers the bezel edges making it more difficult to use.
Note that it never said it included the magnet, and I never assumed it would, but since the case makes reaching the buttons including power button harder, the lack of such a feature makes using it much harder. Also, it is hard to use the unit near the edges of the screen because the case is in the way.
My wife has informed me she is getting a Nexus 7 now (guess who is buying it), she can use this when she gets it. In the meantime, I will stick with the sleeve that I've been using.

The case sold on Google Play is completely different. It has a cover over the screen that you open like a book, and it's made out of TPU. The Incipio case is a hard case, with no cover on the front. The Play store also charges tax and shipping, so that $20 ends up costing $32.83. The Incipio case is only $24.99 on Amazon. Tax is about $2.37, and if you have Amazon Prime shipping is free. That comes out to $27.36, which is a better deal IF you are looking for a low profile hard case.

seems like a pretty solid case that doesn't add too much thickness to the device. my only gripe is that it doesn't hug the borders enough, i mean if you were to drop it on a corner, it would still get damaged or scratched to some degree. please correct me if i am wrong on that

Have you purchased both so that you have an actual comparison, or are you just assuming?
TPU cases add much more bulk than a slim hard plastic case. Just look at the pictures for a TPU case. You can see by looking at the cutouts for the buttons and speakers that there is considerable bulk added. The Incipio Feather case is much thinner. Similar to the Poetic Element case, which is also a slim fitting hard plastic case.

I completely agree with that. I usually buy cheapos on ebay, too. But, I haven't seen many hard plastic cases for the N7. Just lots of TPU's. I actually went with the Poetic Element case for $15 shipped.

Case that can be a wallet replacement

I'm looking for a nice leather case that can double as a wallet replacement. That is to say, it should have a place for cards and cash.
I've found two manufacturers that make a nice leather case; Zenus and Spigen:
izenus.com/smart-phones/galaxy-note-2.html
spigen.com/cell-phone/samsung/galaxy-note-2/galaxy-note-2-leather-wallet-case-valentinus-series.html
My only concern is that none of the pictures show US currency laying flat in the cash slot. Since the Note II is just a whisker shorter than a US banknote this should be feasable, no?
How's Seido?

Second review says currency does not fit unless folded.
I looked a Seido as I have used many of their products in the past.
However, it looks like they just have rubber/plastic cases.

My thinking is that I'll be less likely to loose either if I have everything together but that's just a theory. Mostly, I just want to carry less around with me every day.
I found another company (Noreve) that makes a wallet style case and I've got a message into them to see if their cases are long enough for US banknotes.:
www.noreve.com/langue/en/product/Samsung_Galaxy_Note_2_Tradition_B_leather_case.html
We will see.
Give Etsy a try. Here's a simple search I did for Galaxy Note 2 wallet.
You might find something custom made or on request.
I'm wanting something similar and may resort to making my own. If you find something worthwhile post it up!
I'm also looking for a case with a wallet functionality. My biggest gripe is that most cases do not offer full protection.
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/momax-the-core-smart-case-for-samsung-galaxy-note-2-black-p37081.htm
That's the closest I can find to full protection, but it doesn't have wallet portion.

Get the zenus case I have it and its great
What about this, you can detach the phone case from the wallet, they also have one without the clasp, but I think this one is the closest to full wallet.
But still, not sure if you can put the whole paper money flat inside, I'm laying on my bed, too lazy to get up and grab my wallet to measure the currency to my note

I did do quite a bit of searching before posting; both in this forum and on the internet at large. I've always been a "read the manual" sort of guy.

This thread talks about the Valentinus which was discounted earlier in this thread as not having a full length currency slot.

This thread seems to be about the Incipio LGND but it doesn’t look to have any slots, doesn’t seem to be leather, and the fit and finish is reportedly pretty bad.

What about this, you can detach the phone case from the wallet, they also have one without the clasp, but I think this one is the closest to full wallet.
But still, not sure if you can put the whole paper money flat inside, I'm laying on my bed, too lazy to get up and grab my wallet to measure the currency to my note

Two reviews I did for wallet flip cases. These are both horizontal flip with black leather. I also have a great Noreve flip I'm using right now. I'll have a review for that up soon.

Thanks, I did actually watch both of those reviews before I posted here. I didn't see you put any money or cards in the slots so I couldn't be sure either one of these cases met my needs. Good reviews otherwise though; the video and audio quality was very good!

Is this the review for the Noreve one?

I see it does not have any pockets for cards or money. My concern with these type of cases is that over time, the cards will leave an impression on the SP at least (I doubt it would mark the GGII screen directly).

Thanks Travis,
I really like the looks of the Zenus case!
I haven't gotten an email back from them so maybe you can tell us; will unfolded currency (US) fit in the side slot on the flip cover?

Lol, well the currency actually is 1/8 of an inch taller than the note, seeing how the flip case is almost exact as the note, I don't think it will fit flat

ProCase Galaxy Tab S6 10.5 Case

So I picked up the S6 at BB today and I needed a case quickly, so I ordered this ProCase on Amazon and it will be here tomorrow morning. For $10 its better then being naked until some decent reviews of good cases come out. I'll update this when it arrives.

It doesn't look too bad. One thing it is missing is a cover for the sPen, but so far I've only seen that on the Samsung cases.

Yeah, wth man? Does Samsung have an exclusive/patent for pen covers, or what?
I'm buying a cover today, don't for sure which one, but it'll have some sort of pen holder.
Let us know how you get on, I opted for the official case purely because of the pen cover so it'll be interesting to see if it stays in place
I have been looking through eBay and Amazon on a daily basis to see if there are any new cases being listed. Today I found one on Amazon with a case that has flexible material covering half of the S-Pen. It costs $10.99 with 8% discount. Here is the link below.

Definitely the best option I've seen so far. Wondering if 'edge swiping' will be an issue. Still, ordering now.
Thanks! I've been doing a lot of searching too.

Great minds think alike lolol. Got my s6 at bb a few days ago and bought the same case from Amazon because this puppy needs a case and there are no leather ones just yet.
Good news the case you and I bought works very well with the s6 with solid corner protecting and the slim form factor works for me. With the case the s_pen sits where it needs to without it falling out so far. For the price quite pleased.
All the best

So as an update ,its been almost 2 weeks since I got my ProCase and I have no complaints with it (other then it doesn't hold the SPen any more securely then having no case. It folders nicely in 2 different different positions for watching movies. It seems to put the tablet screen to sleep when I cover it and covers the edges of the tablet nicely without adding to much bulk.
The only thing I noticed and may be a tablet issue not the cover, but sometimes I'm getting notification even if I'm not using the tablet (and the cover is covering the screen). ie someone sends a Facebook message and the tablet vibrates to let me know it got one.
What do you think about this?

$10 Case
I also purchased this case to use until my Keyboard Case arrived. It is a perfectly serviceable case. It fits the tablet well and protects it.
For $10, you really can't ask for anything more. I'm satisfied with it.
I actually picked this one up which provides some protection for the S-Pen
https://www.amazon.com/Infiland-Multiple-Samsung-SM-T860-Charging/dp/B07X1J2Y5Q/ref=pd_sbs_147_4/130-0278015-9288254?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07WYXW4LV&pd_rd_r=4a5416f3-6149-4f6f-9dd6-faa59352bf3f&pd_rd_w=94FZj&pd_rd_wg=M0FSR&pf_rd_p=d66372fe-68a6-48a3-90ec-41d7f64212be&pf_rd_r=YBPBQMCGC28AMJH5KDVZ&refRID=YBPBQMCGC28AMJH5KDVZ&th=1
It's not bad, a little thin, but I guess that can be good or bad depending if you want something lightweight or improved protection. They do offer a thicker model for a little more money.

Bought it at Amazon for $10.99
PROS
S-pen fits tighly in pouch
Sturdy construction
Sleep on close
Snug fit (see cons)
Cut-outs on right and left for edge-swiping
CONS
Not lightweight—is significantly heavier than previous covers I've used
Maybe too snug of a fit—had to stretch out the PU 'leather' for tab to be fully inserted

Thank you for your review of the product!
I did see another case last week that was very similarly designed to the Samsung book cover where it actually had a magnetic cover for the s pen. It sold out pretty quickly but kept it in my wish list on Amazon in case they stock it back up. I believe it sold for around $18. I leave a link below in case anyone is interested.

If I didn't already have one I'd buy it, when possible. I like it's S-pen cover design. I use my tablet 'upside down' (charging cable on top, and better grip in left hand—I'm right-handed).
Only possible 'problem' is weight. This one is listed as 11.2 oz vs the Dadanism listed at 7.7 oz. I added it to my list, though.
Thanks

Bought it.
Only con is a big one—as I feared before I bought it the magnet that holds the tablet on to the case interferes with the screen's ability to sense the S-pen.

Which case did you buy? the Dadanism one? I can see why that would have massive issues, but the the Ztotop case I got today has no problems and I love it

I have both. First Dadaism (no attachment magnets), then saw post about Ztotop and it looked perfect, until I tried writing/drawing with S-pen and experienced the 'dead-zone' problem as shown in screenshot.
Since you are not having problem I wonder if they made changes to placement or strength of magnets???
Before I try to exchange mine, I just want to confirm that you don't have dead spots using S-pen.
Please let me know, Thanks!
Screenshot for above using S-pen and Samsung Notes. Black=on case, Orange=off case
