Complete method to extract system files from ftf files of xperia devices for ics
(For gb u can use nero young method which is simple, but for ics u will get system files from ftf by this method (for windows)u will not get extracted folder by nero young method )

METHOD :
step 1:
Open the ftf file using winrar

step 2:
Extract which ever file u need (in this case i need system folder so i extracted system.sin )
step 3:
Open flash tool and click advanced option and then click sin editor
step 4:
Go to system.sin file from where u had extracted and open file
step 5:
Click dump data option
Wait for it to finish the process
step 6:
After finishing the process u will get two files in the folder where u r having original system.sin (one will be system.partinfo and other will be system.yaffs2 ) so tht u get yaffs2 file continue with the next step

step 7:
Download unyaffs tool from the link provided first and extract unyaffs.exe and cygin1.dll to c drive of ur system by making a folder named "unyaffs"

step 8:
Go to the folder where u get system.yaffs2 ( the file we get though the flash tool process) and copy the file
step 9:
Paste it to the unyaffs folder in "c"
step 10:
While u are in unyaffs folder press shift + right mouse button then only u will get "open command window here option", click that.... Other wise u can go to this folder using usual command method
step 11:
U will get command window inside unyaffs folder
step 12:
U should type inside the command window "unyaffs.exe system.yaffs2" (app name)(space)(name of the file u need to extract, if u need to extract kernel use tht file name here) and then press enter
step 13:
Wait for some time " until u see end of image " and u can see the extracted folders appearing in the unyaffs folder
through this method u can get any .sin file inside ur ftf

Its possible easier, just open. Ftf with 7zip and copy system.img to desktop and than extract system from. Img with yaffey

I M BACK WITH THE IMEI FIX TWO MINUTE FOR ALL DEVICES !! (SURE ABOUT MTK AND A1)
So LEts STart !! -
1-Keep Cool First ( I KNW U R IN A HURRY )
2.Download the IMEI_WINDOWS.zip from below
3.Extract the contents to an easy location on PC (prefer C drive)
4.Open command promp and cd to the IMEI_WINDOWS folder
5.Now type "imei.exe 123456789111111 123456789111111" without quotes
6.Just replace both the 15 digit numbers with your IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 respectively
7.Now a file named "MP0B_001_NEW" will be generated in your IMEI_WINDOWS folder
8.Just rename it to "MP0B_001"
9.Now download the IMEI_FLASHABE.zip from below
10.Extract this zip and go to "/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/"
11.Delete the placehere file and paste your "MP0B_001" file here
12.Now zip the META-INF and data folder and flash it with recovery
13.Done !!!

IMEI Fixed but....
I Fixed my IMEI but I am unable to make a Call.
It Shows "Emergency Calls Only".
How to Fix???
i followed the flashing procedure..but it was not succesfull...

Yes I am able to make the call as few year back when China's mobile was in trend which come without imei no. Govt. issued order to not give network to mobile which does not have imei no.
You just need to do as instructed and flash it through recovery(custom).
However it was a drawback that when doing factory reset imei no. again goes to invaild
How to revert back to Kitkat from MIUI lollipop in easiest way

Important :
Before flashing it is advised to take the backup of data and make sure that your phone battery is charged enough.
Steps :
1. Download ROM from the above link and extract it to Desktop.
Note: - Some users get error while extracting onDesktop Because there is space in the username of PC or the folder as shown.

The users should put the ROM In C Drive in a folder without spaces. E,g C:/ROM/MIUI
The Error shown when using space between foldername.
2. Download flashing tool from the above link and install it.
3. Once installation is complete, Run MiFlash application.
4. Click on browse
5. Select ROM folder from Desktop(From the location where ROM is saved)
Note: -The path of the ROM folder Should be like "C:\Users\zeus\Desktop\MIUI" Not "C:\Users\zeus\Desktop\MIUI\images"
The MIUI Rom folder should Contain the following files
6. Turn off the phone, press and hold the Volume Down key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode, then connect the phone to a computer.
7. Press Refresh button to see you device in flashing tool.
After pressing refresh button you will see connected device.
Here You have 3 options to select.
Choose the options carefully as per your need:-
1. Flash_all:- Clears all the data of the built-in storage, clear all user data, please be careful!(Clean Install)
2. Flash_all_except_storaget:- Will erase all user data does not clear the built-in storage data.
3. Flash_all_except_data_storage:- Does not clear the built-in storage data does not clear user data
8. Click on Flash and it will start process
Device Mismatch error ? Don't worry, click below.
Steps :
1. Dowload Notepad++ from here. Go to folder where you have extracted the Rom
2 .Right Click on any of 3 Batch Files ( .bat extension) you want to choose and open it with Notepad++
3. Delete those 2 lines ( line no. 10 and 11 ) and then Save it using ctrl+s or file menu.
4. Done , now you can flash fastboot rom on your device using Mi flash tool without having that error
9. Once flashing process completes Device will automatically reboot. Reboot might take upto 5 minutes.
Done !

GOT TROUBLE WHILE INSTALLING A RECOVERY? GET A WORKING TWRP RECOVERY AFTER 2 MINUTES ON YOUR XPERIA LOLLIPOP/MARSHMALLOW DEVICE::good:
open any root explorer app like ES FILE MANAGER
Delete /system/etc/mm_twrp_recovery folder
Go to /system/bin/ folder
Look for the "chargemon.stock" file - If it's present, delete this one: chargemon - and now, rename the chargemon.stock to chargemon
Look for the "taimport.stock" file - If it's present, delete this one: taimport - and now, rename the taimport.stock to taimport
Reboot
download "recovery fix.zip" from mega.nz
extract the file and run "adbrecoveryfix.exe" the .exe file will install some needed files (normally into C:\Minimal ADB and Fastboot\ )
copy the files from the folder "RECOVERY FILES" into the "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" Folder
connect your xperia with the pc
open the "m a a d" folder and then SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK to open a command window
now type:
adb shell
su root
mount -o remount,rw /system
exit
exit
install.bat

Plugged phone into computer with dev settings, debugging etc
Open root explorer to make / -RW
Run install.bat with CMD
Boom! MM with TWRP
To get in into recovery reboot press down after green LED

My phone is stuck in fastboot loop. I cant turn it off or restart to recovery. I've tried everything i could find on the web, but no result.
ADB is not recognizing the phone properly. The same as MiFlash. I've tried dozen of Miflash version and either they crash or have that message.

2) download fastboot rom 12.0.2 i.e .TGZ file
3) extract platform tools (u will find one folder inside named "platform tools"
4) extract TGZ file
5) copy all extracted tgz files in that "platform tools" folder.
6) connect device.
7) double click on "flash all.bat" file

I've tried it, after clicking flash all, command prompt window flashes (too fast, i cant see the content of the window) and closes. Nothing changes...
Image of platform tools folder with fastboot rom inside:
1. Open command prompt.
2. Navigate to the directory which contains flashall.bat.
3. Now run flashall.bat from command prompt.
With this you can see the error.
Advise: Check your path and see if any folder has a space in the name. Remove the spaces from the folder names.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not at fault if you f&#$ your phone up.
I'm using a computer to do this procedure, if you want to rework this to be done without a PC be my guest. It is possible without a PC. I just seen people needed root for this device, I happen to own the device, and figured i'd be nice and give back to the same community that taught me android development for years...
STEP 1:
Connect to PC in file transfer (MTP) mode. and make a new folder on the device root directory called init.d
STEP 2:
Extract the suboot.zip file and locate suboot.sh you need to place this file inside init.d
Now you need to create another folder named bin (inside the first folder you made)
STEP 3:
Extract mtk-su_r23.zip and inside the arm folder is a file called mtk-su this file needs to go into the bin folder
Extract Magisk-v18.1.zip and inside the arm folder place ONLY magiskinit inside the same bin folder
if you did this correctly your files should look like this:

STEP 4:
Now from the phone install MagiskManager-v7.1.1.apk DO NOT LET IT UPDATE
Open MagiskManager and goto settings > update channel > custom
and paste this URL from the magisk-update-block.txt or from below

Now you'll see that Magisk Manager thinks it is already up to date.
STEP 5:
Install the init.d scripts support apk provided.
* tick/checkmark on "Run scripts at boot time"
* Set Execution Delay to "No Delay"
* For Selected Folder set it the init.d folder you made, and then click save at the top right.
It will say 2 script files in this folder if done correctly
** NOW scroll down and click "Run scripts now"
It's free version so watch an ad... after 2 ads it will grant you pro access for 24 hours.
** Again click "Run scripts now"
You'll see "Show last execution results" appear below the "Run scripts now".
Your results should look like this.
Use root checker to confirm...
